We’re growing all-new challenges for the new year! This update offers continued support for upcoming weekly and monthly challenges, bringing new flowers, twists, and surprises you’ll want to set your weekly alarm for.
In this update:
- Support for a dozen new challenges with fun new mechanics
- Fixed a bug where the wrong challenge name could appear in some spots
Primrows is a breath of fresh air for fans of abstract strategy games like Threes! or 2048. It takes the familiar tile-sliding mechanic and adds a layer of color-matching depth that makes every move feel significant. The minimalist aesthetic is beautiful, with a calming palette and subtle animations that make the board feel alive.
The difficulty scales perfectly. Early levels are a breeze, allowing you to learn the combos, but the 'Endless' mode eventually becomes a high-stakes puzzle where one wrong slide can end your run. It’s an excellent game for those who enjoy 'flow state' gameplay where you can get lost in the logic of the board for an hour without realizing it.
Minimalist and Clean UI
Challenging Strategy-Based Gameplay
Endless Mode for High Scores
Relaxing Ambient Music
Look ahead at the incoming tiles. Try to set up combos where clearing one row causes another set of tiles to fall into place, maximizing your score and clearing the board faster.
The main gameplay loop involves surviving as long as possible while the board fills up. Efficient clearing is the only way to keep the game going and climb the leaderboard.
No, it's a turn-based puzzle where you can take as much time as you need to plan your moves.
I found this game randomly while looking for a new game along the quick-play, points-earning, tile-placement genre, and came across this. I’m so glad! This is an awesome game! It’s easy to learn, has a great tutorial, and has a relaxing vibe while still offering a challenge. There are different modes depending on what kind of game you want to play as well. I’m not a gardener, I’m a guy who doesn’t necessarily draw to flowery stuff, but this is beautiful. I really like this game. I super appreciate the extremely fair monetizing for such a high quality, well made product. I immediately paid the affordable price to unlock everything just after playing one game. It’s that good. And there are no ads or greedy IAP. I applaud these developers for doing it all right and so well. Thank you for making this! I highly recommend this game!
A pleasant game that’s easy to learn and lots of fun. I had the pleasure of meeting the developers at the last two Midwest Gaming Classic conventions and they seemed like a great team. If you want to try a great twist on the side scrolling shoot-um-up try their other game “The Day We Fought Space”. A great indie studio I look forward to seeing more from.
The art style and gameplay are cute and fun, and I can see this game taking up a lot of my time. I will say that I've had some issues when trying to start a new game, either it crashes and needs to be relaunched or I have to "quit" the game I just finished to start a new one.
This is an excellent low stress game that is perfect for listening to podcasts. Journal play is like a small collection of challenges. So easy to lose yourself for hours at a time. Sandbox play is a lot of fun too. Wish I had found this game the day it was released.
Even just after the tutorial I paid to unlock everything. 4.99 is perfectly reasonable for such a lovely game. I’m already hooked. Please please please keep updating this game so I never run out of levels :’)
Primrows is a lovely casual game, great for short sessions with a lot of replay-ability. A brilliant blend of game mechanics with a gardening theme, I always love seeing the happy flowers perk up! Once you get that first prize garden, you’ll be hooked!
Such a nice, peaceful game! It’s nice to find games that don’t hype you up with stressful competition and timed rounds. This game is a cozy yet challenging experience.
Really satisfying puzzle game that’s a perfect combination of luck and strategy.
