Game Is Hard is a brutal, honest, and brilliantly designed 'rage-game' that will appeal to fans of Flappy Bird or Getting Over It. It prides itself on being difficult, but it never feels truly unfair. Every death is clearly your fault, which is what keeps you hitting that 'Retry' button. The minimalist art style means there are no distractions—just you, the character, and the impossible gauntlet of spikes and lasers ahead.

The haptic feedback on death is particularly 'sharp,' which almost acts as a physical reminder of your mistake. What I loved most was the 'Success Percentage' tracker at the top of the screen; seeing that you've reached 98% of the level only to die is a unique kind of pain that only a perfectly designed difficult game can provide. It’s a badge of honor to complete even the early stages. If you have a high frustration tolerance and love a challenge, this is the best 'hard' game on the market.

The 'Death' Counter

Embrace the death counter. You will die hundreds of times. Use the 'Ghost' feature in the settings to see your previous run's path; this helps you time your jumps through the triple-spike pits more accurately.

The game uses a single-tap jumping mechanic. The height of your jump is determined by how long you hold the screen. Mastering the 'micro-tap' for short gaps is the only way to survive Stage 2.

i love this game! it’s the perfect ratio of being challenging without being impossible!! if you love games that test your brain and feel accomplishing then definitely get this!! my only suggestions are 1: obviously the ads, i understand that when you have a free game they’re needed to keep it free, but they’re so frequent it’s quite annoying and often causes me to exit out of the game in frustration. i would encourage more levels in between ad breaks and/or shorter ads!! 2: quite a few of the levels repeat, like, (im using random numbers for example) level 12 might be the same as level 135. idk if this is on purpose cause someone might forget how to do the level or not, but when your bingeing the game on a car ride like me, it got kinda boring to do the same ones, tho i will say they were spaced out well! and lastly 3: some of the levels were confusing, and even when i paid for every single hint it made no sense and the hints weren’t specific enough. i understand this is a brain test game lol and certain kinds of people find certain kinds of levels more confusing but i even showed multiple friends and they found the hints equally as unhelpful and i eventually looked it up how to pass. so my final suggestion is just to make sure that once someone gets to the final hint, the hints are clear enough that they should be able to figure it out!!! thank you so much for reading this i hope it’s helpful!

Ok so my problem is that it won’t let me watch an ad to get any more coins. I did it like twice and now it won’t let me do it anymore yeah and I’m not paying like $15 for like 1000 coins. could you just please fix that and other than that that’s a really good game and y’all should get it and since it’s free and the only time you have to watch and ad is when you want and get can get free coins, but it won’t let me watch how to get 15 free coins and so that’s a problem. and if y’all could just fix it, please do please please do and yeah it’s just really good. Could you fix it and other than that the game is 5 out of 5 Stars what do I recommend to any person looking for a puzzle game 100% would recommend for anybody honestly and just fix it please and yeah you should get it though hundred percent no there’s no ads really but I mean the only ads are optional and order to watch an ad and if it will, and if you watch how to get 15 coins which can be used as hints and the game is really tricky specially at 100 level levels in right now I’m at level 116 and it’s very hard the point yeah and just please fix that problem and then hundred hundred percent I would recommend just that’s that’s only bad honestly and yeah just please fix that 100% to anybody at any age yeah so just please get that and mostly just get this thing. Honestly, I feel like the buying coins is not worth it cause you also can’t get no ads which is honestly sort of weird because there was no answer to begin with, but yeah 100 can recommend just please fix that one problem thank you EDIT: tysm for looking into it!

Glitches and possibly listening?

I have had this app for a couple days now and I am already on level 74 or so. It was easy yet challenging and the hints are actually helpful without giving anything away but, I have recently been noticing some problems when I play music. I keep having to disconnect the Bluetooth and reconnecting it because it has been glitching while I use the app. It starts speeding up and cutting in and out. I know it’s not my speaker because I once disconnected it and did the same thing on my phone too. There are also camera and microphone permissions. I clicked allow and it worked well in the app but sometimes I notice the microphone icon popping up at the top of my screen and the little green dot that comes on when it’s listening. I hate to delete this app because it is very fun but I keep having problems and concerns for my device security. Also, some of the levels referenced older levels and the hints tell exactly which one but a couple rounds have been off by several levels. I had one that referenced level 23 or something and the hints tell exactly said it was on level 34 or something. I ended up having to go through several levels to find it and I almost skipped it entirely. Lots of bugs.

Great game overall. Love the challenges and there are a lot of levels. I love how interactive it is too. It stands out from any other game I’ve played. Some levels you have to say things, find colors, shake your phone, turn up your brightness, etc. HOWEVER,,, I’ve seen so many ads playing this. I’m not a genius but I’m not an idiot either, and this game is really hard most of the time. You have a certain amount of coins, and you can use them to get a hint. But hints start at ten, then twenty, then thirty coins. It doesn’t sound that expensive, but like I said earlier, it’s hard so I’m constantly getting hints. You can get more coins by watching ads, but they only give you 15 coins which isn’t enough for the long painful ads I watch to get them. Also, sometimes it isn’t the best game to play in public. You are shaking your phone, flipping it around, and speaking out loud . I was in an airport playing it and it wanted me to whisper, talk, owl, cat, yell, and dog. Not sure what half of that meant but I couldn’t get past the level because I was in public. Love the game but it could use some improvements.

I hate tricky games but this one’s tricky but not to tricky it’ll make you crash out. It’s the perfect amount of hard that you can have a hard time but still have fun and not get bored of it. I got this game a few hours ago and I’m already on level 60 something. It’s so fun and easy but a little hard. What’s nice is there’s not to many ads and the only ads you get are super quick ads. They also give you a break of the hard levels and give you a couple easy ones on the way. I love this game so much it will always stay on my home page and it’ll always be my favorite! 😍 I definitely recommend this game and I think the creator should make more games just like this one! Thank you for reading this because you deserve an amazing game!

The puzzles are good but they often refer back to prior ones, and they are definitely numbered differently now than when they were written. Puzzle 69 wanted me to put the puzzle number as circles but when that didn’t work I checked the hints and it said it was level 73. I checked again in the level list but it was definitely 69. And a few puzzles later it asked what level 68 wanted, and I went back to play every puzzle from 55 onward and none of them say rest. And it feels like the puzzles are a bit buggy. One level said “how many more boxes?” Or something along those lines and the hint told me to drag the word “more” to fill the boxes, but it didn’t do anything. And there’s no way to collect coins without purchasing them or watching ads, so I’ve probably watched 20 minutes of ads in the one hour I played this game just for coin bonuses to get hints not to mention the ridiculous number of forced ads in between each 10 second puzzle. I’m not one to complain about ads because I know it’s a free game, but the inability to collect coins without them makes me feel like something should be said.

Let me leave a REAL review for this stupid game, and it will be complex. There’s nothing I hate more than an actual great game made by the most filthiest money hungry beings on earth. Why lie? Why BLATANTLY lie about it being an “offline game” “no WiFi game”, like you people are weird and stupid and don’t deserve anything good in life, it’s not even about taking money from the people anymore, you all take peoples time and intelligence, just because I don’t agree don’t mean I don’t give credit where it’s do but there’s far more red than green here because if it was in fact true that this game is playable offline I’d love it, but guess what? That was the first thing I tried after realizing an ad will show after every completion of a level. This is pitiful and pathetic, but I don’t care because nothing is going to get done about it AND I won’t be browsing for new games anymore anyway, this world is starting to become riddled with fiction and fictional ads, there are no good games anymore let alone anything genuine left at all.

The game is creative- it uses a lot of features, most of which I hesitate to say because of spoilers, but it’s rather neat to see a game use all your phone’s features to it’s advantage. For example, a level made me turn up my screens brightness, which was pretty neat! However, while it is creative, it’s… not very hard puzzle wise. The puzzles are either self explanatory, or feel like complete guesswork as you click on random things. I would recommend this for a younger audience, if not for the fact it pushes you to use a camera and microphone for some levels, which personally make me very uncomfortable. It provided the option to skip using in game currency, but I still find myself hesitant to recommend this game because of it actually costing money to skip things that make the user uncomfortable. Overall, creative game, if misleading name wise.
