Fun game

It’s a great game. For having simple graphics it’s a really entertaining game. Me and some buddies of mine love playing against each other and we’ll be going at it for an hour or two. The only thing I wish would be put into the game is the ability to create a custom game. For example, you could add that your tank could move 10 times instead of 4. Or you could make it so that there are 20 volleys instead of 10. Kinda like how you can add wind or change the size of the explosion. Thanks for the great game!

Almost Scratches that Nostalgia Itch

For those of us who played the original Scorched Earth in 1991, Pocket Tanks Deluxe is a heart-felt and (mostly) faithful tribute to that classic, and there are some genuinely clever weapons and gadgets included. There are, however, some design decisions or technical limitations that prevent this game from taking the title of "Mother of All Games": namely, the restriction of only ever having one opponent available. Gone are the days of wild 10-player carnage, and impromptu alliances and betrayals and while it may have been difficult to implement additional players when Pocket Tanks was first developed, in the 20 years since, other more recent "Scorch-likes" have upped the player counts as technology improved. Even if multiple opponents were added to the Vs AI or Local Play modes only, this game would remain on my device for years to come. As it stands, it's a nice but fleeting reminder of those days of DOS, long gone by.

Pay to win

Pocket tanks is my favorite game and I have a lot of fun playing online and with friends. But I have to take away a star because it is pay to win. You can buy weapon packs in the game and it’s not like they’re at least balanced. They are very overpowered weapons. Every time I go against someone that owns them I forfeit because I don’t even stand a chance because their score will be over 1,000 while mine is 300. There’s this one guy named bigvally who I hate playing against the most. I hate this guy with a passion just because of his stupid weapons it’s Just unfair. How is this gam even fun for you if you’re guaranteed the win?

Love the game but some improvements would be nice

More features as simple as even tank colors would be a refreshing addition. Here’s my main ideas for what can be added: -Obviously more tank colors -A terrain editor to allow for custom terrain maps -Custom weapon selection in private matches as an option -Health custom mode where you try to drain the opponent of their life bar Minor improvements: -Tank movement is either moving too far or not at all, a fuel tank system for it would be nice -Power bar can be a bit weird with distancing shots -Make custom private games where we get to choose weapons and who starts As someone who has bought everything I really do love the game and will continue supporting the game but these minor improvements and new features would be amazing for the player base :)

Fun game for bursts of entertainment

This game is great to pick up and put down at anytime for people who don’t like games that take a lot of time investment. The rounds are short (about 5 minutes) once you start getting familiar with the game. The game needs some quality of life improvements such as finding weapons by search in weapons selector (if you have a lot of weapon packs) and a different background so that I can actually see obstructions on the field that don’t contrast well with black. Knocking 1 star off for that.

Awesome game

I really like this game, and I've been playing for a long time. The one issue I'm having with it is that, suddenly, my attacks aren't hitting home anymore. I've never had a problem dialing in to hit the target, but recently I can barely get a direct hit, my shots fly all over. Meanwhile the computer hits me dead on every single shot. I have wind turned off, level 5. Other than that I love it, but it's discouraging to get hit so bad by the computer, when I know I'm accurately lining up my own shots and they end up being way off

Amazing, but...

Incredible game overall, awesome gameplay. So many hours were spent, but the main issue is that it is still a struggle to play online with a strangers, no matter if I play with wifi or 4g data lags are pretty common so that you simply cannot finish your move, the same happens with your opponent, you just wait for him to finish move and nothing happens. Would be happy if that can be fixed. Anyway, thank you BitWise for amazing game!

I love this game

I have played this game since I was like... 7 and I have bought all the packs and everything because it's an amazing game. The only thing though is that they aren't updating it anymore and it's really sad because I would love new packs and everything. So if the developers are out there and you see this, please make more stuff for this amazing game. I would love that and I'm sure other people would too.
