The story mode AI is pretty stupid.

So overall it is a fun game and makes you think. But the game's"AI" is very VERY useless. In ghost mode, I tend to have more success just picking random crap then actually using logic to get them to guess. And if I somehow DID figure out what they understood, the meaning changed to them immediately afterwards. Seriously this is my biggest complaint. The fact I paid decent money for this app is at least expect the AI to have more intelligence than what it has. There is just now way of knowing what they are doing. Makes it near impossible to move forward in the story.

I enjoy this game. It is simple and easy to grasp but does present a challenge to play. Especially when you have to play as the ghost and your trying to help the psychics figure things out. I’m sure that there maybe a bug or two, but personally I have either never encountered a bug or chalked it up to bad luck. Personally though, I would love the inclusion of a card gallery to have a look at the vision cards, location cards, suspects and even the psychic investigators with an option to see their backstory. Lords of water deep did a card gallery feature to let you look at all of the cards in the game. I would personally love a gallery just to look at the beautiful artwork that is present in the cards. All in all, a good game with replay ability

Only my first game...I played with the max AI, so maybe that changes the game mechanics. I was under the impression I had more than 30 seconds to pick based on the story mode. But the AI’s were all getting their cards and I was last even though I was top of the list and I think the two minutes started when the first AI got their card which is not what the rules say. It could be I do not know how the game goes, but I have been sitting here for five minutes and the ghost still has not done anything and I cannot do anything so...I think this game needs improvement. Maybe the ghost found rest or had second thoughts and doesnt want the culprit found. UPDATE: Played a few more times on Pass and Play. Definite bugs. On the iPhone I could not deselect AIs. That problem went away. I played also on the iPad which had a similar problem: I cannot change the ghost back to AI. The selection changes before I start the game, but it still thinks a player is the ghost. Also, toggle is inconsistent; sometimes I need to cancel and go back to lobby to correct the pass and play conditions. This game is not super fun, because it is frustrating, so even without bugs, I would only give it a 4/5 max.

Good implementation of the board game

Mechanically-speaking, at least! Certainly a lot less tedious than setting up all those cards! Pass and play seems to work like a tiny portable version of the full game, but since half the fun of playing the Ghost is listening to the Investigators chatter, online play (while an inevitable option) seems less neat. Could really use a full-screen zoom on the cards rather than the hold-and-drag magnifier for those little details, especially for newcomers who haven't seen the art in person before.

Great and fun game but very buggy

Me and my husband really enjoy playing game together and the story mode works perfectly with zero issues however any and every time that we have done any multiplayer type game: blitz, “online”, or quick play as soon as the game ends it logs us out automatically and on a couple occasions it has just stopped working mid game. If this is something you can live with (which we can) you will enjoy the game overall! But please think about fixing bugs Asmodee!!!

I love this game. I really do. I love that it’s always challenging and interesting and there’s an endless number of ways to get or give clues. Having said that, there are some annoying and persistent issues. Lobby is frequented by trolls who blast their disgusting bile. Using the ignore button doesn’t seem to do a thing. Lots of people come in to only play private games, which is unfortunate since this is a game about working together as a team. Many of the bugs that made the game stop working mid-game have been fixed. However, problems continue to persist. For example, someone set up several private games and then got booted or left. Those games have continued to clutter the lobby for days now with no end in sight. If there was some kind of admin, who actually showed up regularly, who also had the power to block trolls, this would greatly improve player experience!!

Great game, major bug

I love this game, but I keep getting an “Endwrite AI failure: connection timed out” error, followed by replacing my player with an AI. Can you please address this bug and also make it so players are not automatically replaced with AI? This bug would be a lot less irritating if you could simply rejoin the game, but as it is, the entire session is binned. Thank you! Really looking forward to having this fixed.

Let me start off by saying that I love this game. I own the tabletop version and then later the app. Great game lots of fun. The only negative I can complain about is there are never enough players at one given time. You have to sit in the lobby and wait forever to get a good game to start. I have never seen more than 13 people in the lobby. This game needs to be promoted/advertised appropriately. It’s a wonderful game just needs more people.
