My Singing Monsters is a masterclass in the 'collection' genre, largely because it understands that sound is just as rewarding as visuals. Most monster-collectors focus on stats and combat; this game focuses on harmony. Each monster you breed adds a unique vocal or instrumental track to the island's song. Adding a T-Rox isn't just about gaining a rare unit; it's about adding that much-needed percussion to your island's melody.
The animation is charming and quirky, giving every creature a distinct personality. The progression is perfectly paced—it never feels like a slog because you are constantly rewarded with richer, more complex music as you expand. It’s one of the few mobile games that I genuinely recommend playing with headphones. It’s addictive, joyful, and completely unique in the mobile landscape.
Over 150 cute and funny monsters to collect
Incredible original music that changes with your monsters
Stunning animations and art style
Multiple themed islands to unlock
Global community and social features
To get rare monsters, check the elements required. For example, breeding a Plant-element monster with a Cold-element monster has a chance to produce a Furcorn. Higher-level monsters have a better chance of producing rare offspring.
Muting and unmuting monsters allows you to customize the song. If you find the percussion too loud, you can quiet specific monsters to change the island's arrangement without removing them.
Not at all! Everything in the game can be earned through patient play and breeding, though premium currency can speed things up.
This game has developed quite nicely since I played it when I was younger, especially enjoying the cross over from Dawn of Fire! My favorite updates so far are the fact that you actually get a reward for logging in daily instead of the useless “junk” from tickets that you can get in a few minutes rather than waiting an entire day..... Everything so far is fantastic for both young and older players who enjoy the adorable characters and music! But my one big issue is that being someone who would rather save money for other things, I prefer not to buy anything, and of course that means I have to deal with an poorly designed ads ( which some actually break the game and force you to close the app) as well as the “LOVELY” tapjoy offers that TOTALLY rewards you with 900+ diamonds after wasting weeks of your one and only life...... seriously big blue bubble, you seem like a great company, do not let a “company” like tapjoy put a stain on your name, there’s thousands of people and their children who waste so much time and money because of the selfishly designed offers which usually give nothing in return for putting players under stress in order to complete the offer in time or even putting the parents of helpless children into bankruptcy.... this is a serious review and if I had millions of dollars I would be buying things left and right to support big blue bubble because there’s an obviously large amount of effort to make this game enjoyable to music lovers
I personally think that it take a long time just to hatch and breed eggs. I do realize that it’s required so people can’t speed run the game in 5 seconds but I mean 1 day just to get one monster that’s a long time especially to beginners that don’t have many diamonds and don’t know how to use them or what to do with them. But like watching adds and only getting 15 or 30 minutes taken off the total time gets really boring fast. But with like 14 hours for the most that’s perfect like this would be the best mobile game in the world. But another thing is the gems like it’s like 5 for the lowest price and idk about most kids but I rarely stumble across money that’s mine and not my parents and to speed stuff up it cost like 24 gems and for 5$ you only get 100 gems or something like that. And Obviously I’m not Elon Musk who could buy 1b 100$ diamond packs so that’s a little over priced or just raise the diamonds you get in each diamond pack. And the coins are the same and even worse then the diamonds it just doesn’t give enough like 100$ for 100m coins the freaking Wubbox alone is 75,000,000 coins like that should be like at 20,000,000 maybe even lower. Not to mention you have to fill it which costs like 450 diamonds that’s another like 50$ so that comes to 150$ like bruh. Any way this is a great game in general like those are the only things that bother me the monsters are greeeat the voices 10/10 like such a W game
I wouldn’t want to change some things I totally recommend this to anyone who is trying to look for something simple but a little challenging and I love that because not a lot of games are challenging, but also pretty simple to learn because like I’m going to a game and that look super simple but they aren’t that simple in the game but this one it’s exactly like it is in the ads. I love this game. I recommended it to all of my friends and I hope you guys will do the exact same because I think, I think this is just best game ever played. I really don’t delete any games I love and this is when I’m never gonna delete because it is the perfect game for me and a lot of games. They don’t want you like customize or anything really they have you like try and figure it out yourself but this one it also has like a little help and I think that’s gonna be helpful for any of the players. I love this game and it just adds a few, but I think that the only thing I would change is probably the money probably make like one that you could pay this client trying to make like a double coin, booze or like monsters toys or instruments you can buy like different monsters by yourself I really love this game of all though if you like I could customize my own monsters and make it sound like whatever I want I would love that like try and add that to the game I would love if you can add something else customizable besides costumes so yeah that’s all I have to say really this because it’s challenging but also really simple
Hi, I have played this game for 8 years now and it is definitely my favorite game and most nostalgic for me. Everything is amazing except I have one huge suggestion, which I think every single player will love. I think there should be an option to redesign your entire island. I think it would be great because it would allow players to decorate their islands with ease. Once a player turns on design mode, they can have the option to either move some objects or all objects without having to click three times to move a singular object. There should also be a “stash all” button, where you can remove everything from the island and then you can drag everything in the right place. Of course, when you press the “done” button, nothing can be stashed. It must be placed or sold. I got this idea from the game “Rise of Cultures,” so feel free to look at how the creators of that game designed that feature. As I said before, I think this would be something that all players would find to be very helpful. One more specific thing I would like in this feature is to somehow make it less difficult to place path tiles. It is a very tedious task to do so, which is why I think there should be a feature that makes it easier. Other than that, I’ve been on this ride for a long time and have loved every second of it. Everything you have been doing has been amazing and I love the recent updates that you have done. I really want everyone at Big Blue Bubble to know that appreciate every single one of them. Keep doing what you are doing.
I’ve finished air island I was so excited until I heard some controversy, I heard the words pop your neck if you are the developers message the voice actors and tell him that they need to change this part of the song something nicer called island was fine and plant island was fine I’ve seen gameplay of water island. It’s actually kinda chill, but why air Ireland? that’s something we feel every day how is that? The one with the words pop your neck? Does somebody know that we were here in a horror movie my singing monsters is about to be scary. I think you should close down air island for a short amount of time and change that lyric something else as long as it isn’t anything inappropriate in this something that kids can listen to want to stay finish song old island is fine every island, but air just close down air island and say that we need to change the lyrics again there’s a zoo gambling in the game take away all gambling in the game relics should also be bought in store but the main reason here is pop your neck you every other lyric, but that one is safe and could continue to be in the song five stars and the love of the game itself just is a little bit of a mishap was one of the songs you never know what could be in the kids game you never know I’m almost ready for a really really really really rare monster I love the game. I’ll continue playing the game just no more inappropriate words in the song. I have the time machine on every island so I’ll look for new inappropriate words in other songs that might have more controversy
This game is easily my favorite mobile game out there period. I’d say anyone who is a fan of these types of idle games should give it a try. For one, my singing monsters does not require any in app purchases to progress reasonably which is a breath of fresh air when most mobile games require you to buy diamonds for any progress to be made. This game gives multiple avenues to get all the premium currencies in the game and the paid membership the game has is cheap, a one time payment, and doesn’t give too much of an advantage beyond removing forced ads and a few extra goodies. Secondly, the game’s progression is so satisfying and makes me truly want to log in everyday. Watching each individual song grow as you unlock monsters is so much fun compared to games like dragon city where the dragons only serve as currency generators and eye candy. Also, the monster designs are almost all amazing! There is not one I dislike the look of. And lastly, the songs are great! Many of the songs in this game are great listens outside of the context of the game and if you don’t care about spoilers, I’d highly suggest you listen to songs like Magical Sanctum, Wublin island, Mythical Island, and Celestial island for a taste of My singing Monsters’ best. Overall, this game is a great game to play for 20 minutes a day to check on your monsters and watch your monster army grow. Thank you monster handlers for such a great experience!
I remember when MSM came out on the iPod when I was 7, it’s been quite some time since then. I remember seeing the game evolve from a unique little idea to a whole community of people young and old and from different backgrounds connecting everyone through music. I’ve always wanted a wubbox since it came out, and not too long ago, after logging in daily for about 3 months, I got my wubbox, it’s something little now but still deep down my childhood is revived in this game, I don’t spend many hours everyday on the game, but being able to see my progress every time I log in and get a new monster whether it’s rare, epic, or normal I still find joy in being able to experience a new sound. I just learned about monster farming on the mirror islands, and that was my main priority for a bit until I maxed out my 120 bed limit with 26 entbrats and 1 rare entbrat, a parlsona and a ghazt, there’s other monsters but those are the main ones. This was a lot of rambling, but what I would really like to say is thank you to the monster handlers at big blue bubble for showing me a different perspective of music when I was little, without MSM I don’t know if I would be as involved with music as much as I am now, I have my own band, although we haven’t made any music or anything. MSM really taught me about the different layers and importance of different sounds in music. I’m rambling on an on but I owe BBB a lot for entertaining me as a child and entertaining me now, and for making another way of having fun with music!
I love this game so much I never thought it would be so popular! But I want to tell you that I saw an inappropriate ad where this naked man was having s*x with a woman and guess what, THIS GAME IS FOR AGES 4 AND UP! I’ve seen a few reviews where people were complaining about that inappropriate ad too! Like, it’s fine if you show ads about people having a crush on each other or something but this has gone too far. Now after watching that ad I’m scared of playing my singing monsters now because I’m way too young to see people doing explicit activity. So I just wanna tell you to not allow that ad because I don’t want little kids seeing it even if the inappropriate thing was going on for 2 seconds I still don’t want kids to be traumatized. Thank you for reading and understanding. Note: if you’re a parent or guardian of a child dont let them play my singing monsters until the problem is fixed. Now bye! EDIT: so I’m back a few days later to let you MSM players know that the inappropriate ad is gone (hopefully.) I’ve been playing my singing monsters for a while today and I’ve never seen that ad. Just nice, family friendly ads. Which is great! But the explicit ad can come back anytime so parents, be around your kid(s) when their playing this game to make sure the ad doesn’t play. But other than that I give this game 5 stars again. Bye!
