bug fixes
My Exercise is unlike anything else on the App Store. It is a wonderfully weird, charming, and oddly moving game about doing sit-ups. You control a young boy performing exercises alongside his chubby dog, and that’s essentially the whole game. However, the magic is in the details. As you tap to perform sit-ups, the world around you reacts in increasingly surreal and heartwarming ways. Animals join in, the environment shifts, and the simple act of exercising becomes a celebration of movement and companionship.
The art style is clean and expressive, reminiscent of indie animation, and the sound design is pitch-perfect. It’s a short experience, but it’s one that sticks with you because of its sincerity and humor. There are no levels to beat in the traditional sense, and no competitive leaderboards—just a pure, artistic expression of a simple activity. It’s a 'small' game that feels huge in its emotional impact. If you want something that will make you smile and perhaps feel a bit more connected to the world, 'My Exercise' is a beautiful little gem.
Simple one-tap controls
Surreal and humorous animation
Heartwarming interactions with animals
Meditative and rhythmic gameplay
Short, high-quality artistic experience
The game reacts to the speed and rhythm of your taps. Try varying your pace to see how the dog and the environment react. There is no 'wrong' way to play—the goal is to see how many sit-ups you can do and what surprises occur along the way.
As you hit certain milestones of sit-ups, new characters will appear and join the exercise. Keep going to unlock the full 'story' of the workout and enjoy the bizarre, heartwarming interactions that follow.
No, while it is themed around sit-ups, it is a game meant for entertainment and artistic appreciation, not for tracking real-world fitness.
In this game, you get one point for each sit up you perform. My high score is over 200 million. If that doesn’t tell you it’s worth your time, I don’t know what will. Honestly though, this game is really good at calming me down, and is a great de-stresser.
At first I thought this game could only be played once. Then when I finished the first set, I unlocked a new character! I soon realized I could unlock more characters by finishing more sets. So far I have the bird and the mouse characters. I’m loving it so far!
Everything changes when you reach 175.
I just love this game so bad I can’t just stop playing it this is so good
I spent a good few hours playing this and it was great
really makes you FEEL like you’re doing sit-ups into dog
I like the game it’s big w 👍
Really captures the awkward rhythm of core exercises. Loving it so far!
