Makeup Kit Color Mixing is a brilliantly specific puzzle game that targets the 'DIY beauty' niche. It’s essentially a color-matching challenge where you must recreate specific shades of foundation, lipstick, or eyeshadow by mixing primary colors. The physics of the 'cream' and the way colors blend on screen are surprisingly realistic and visually satisfying.
As an expert in creative sims, I was impressed by the accuracy of the color theory required in the later levels. You really have to understand how a tiny drop of blue can neutralize an orange-toned foundation. The 'ASMR' element is strong here, with the scraping of spatulas and the squishing of makeup being central to the experience. Thu Sep 01 2022 BananaLu1234I installed this app a couple weeks ago, and have been playing it nonstop ever since. I saw a couple of ads for it and decided it looked fun and that I would try it, but I was doubtful that it would be great because literally all of the ads I’ve seen lately have been frauds. Those games where they say you get to do the pull the pin puzzles or the one where you overtake numbers smaller than yours annoy me. They say “install this game, play puzzles like this one!” But you barely get to do them and they’re small and stupid. Anyway, the only reason I downloaded the game is because I know Crazy Labs and have their game AMAZE, which by the way, is another good game like this one you should check out. I loved makeup kit because it was exactly the same as the ads. The only app I’ve seen with pull the pin puzzles often is Evony, which is also a good game. Makeup kit has tons of options on your patterns and makeup cases, but it took me a little while to figure out how to access them. Right before you start a level, there should be a little blue button sticking out of the edge of the screen, close to the bottom right corner. Clicking that will give you access to all of your patterns and case skins. Anyway, this is a really cool game, and if you are looking for a pull the pin puzzle game, try Evony, or if your trying to find another time consuming game, try AMAZE.
Fun game but too many yards
Mon Dec 18 2023 VaughanvhchcgcHello, I’m going to be riding a game on the game so the game overall is a really good game and it would be five stars if it did not have so many ads when I gave this rating I thought about how much I like the game, but there is so many ads. I feel every time you press something there is an ad every time you want to do something in the game there’s an app but overall the game itself is a great game and I do recommend the game because it’s therapeutic it’s fun it’s calming and I would play it a lot more in my spare time if you didn’t have so many ads I feel like 50% of the game if not 80% of the game is just add and then it’s more so 25% playing time because of the fact there’s so many ads in between everything that you do, but overall again the game is fun. I do recommend the game because again it is a really fun game to play. It’s just it has a lot to ask. That’s my only complaint about the game is it has a lot of ads overall everything is just like the ad that will pop up on your screen everything is just like that except again it just has a Lotta ads which is probably why it popped up as an ad. Anyway, I don’t know but overall I do love the game and if it didn’t have all the ads to be a five star because well those that I do put on the floor but because again that is the only thing wrong with the game that is why I put that and what is it gonna be stating everything I’m saying it because I am because I want everybody be sure to get this game because it is a great game. She has a new brand go check it out if you’re out at Sephora and yeah, and I love the game so much so so much it’s like you have to put pictures. There’s a picture and you have to pick the color you want and put in a palace and then and then you put it on a girl that’s what the games. So I really wanna make a longer reveal about it so how do we get an ad? That’s not fair of people who have the games get an ad and you never like little kids do ad only that kid from simply draw I got shock when you let that kid did it and that’s not fair. Thu May 16 2024 LILLYSBESTIE101So fun but one of the things I don’t like is the fact that it has ads… I don’t mind 6 second ads and stuff, but the game ads are so long. I get that they try to raise money, but instant ads every minute get annoying. Irritating, and I sometimes get impatient waiting for them. But no BAD ads. I definitely recommend it for impatient kids for car rides and long flights. This incredible game needs no internet to play. For Parents: your kids will have fun playing this game. Sometimes they add photos but they are just like dogs and food and stuff like that. No in appropriate situations or photos and pictures. Never worry, they put good ads on the game. So if you worry about that there is no need for this. Perfect for kids. And for parents and older adults to. So much ASMR. I recommend this game for kids and adults.

Wed Jun 05 2024 Dear lover, 12345678I love the game so much but when you click to color it it bring you to an ad ever time and there not a lot of stuff like you have to do the same thing over and over and over again and it gets on my nerves and like whenever you put it on the girl like it brings you to an ad so many times it’s like you’re doing more ads than you are doing the make up. I’ve been playing this for about a year now and like for me and have more updates like more make up, make them harder and not many ads because like I feel like I do very more ads like that’s the only thing I do anymore on this game more ads than I do do the make up and it gets annoying a lot but don’t get me wrong. I love this game. It’s so fun and relaxing, but it gets on my nerves as well and it needs more improvements now think about this before you buy this game because if you buy it, there’s no turning back

Wed Nov 06 2024 Read this!❤️Hi so this is game is awesome but if I could do a four and a half I would it’s cause the adds so let me explain you pick any picture you want it can be food colorful or faces then you pick the colors on the picture you want to use in the eyeshadow palette but after you do that you get an ad (usually a long one) then after the ad you mix the colors that are touching together witch is fun seeing all the colors it makes and stuff then you get another ad(it’s a meduim one not too long but NOT SHORT) then you pick another one and it’s fun but the ads and all those ads happen every time and there’s limited options for the pictures oh and after you mix them you put the makeup on someone almost forgot but still that’s all about this game bye! Have a safe day night or whatever

Thu Sep 22 2022 baba-booeThis is making me very sad. My friend showed me this game and I downloaded the EXACT same game on my phone. The game on my friends phone let her make the pallet and then put it on a persons eyes; and gave her the choice of what picture to make the pallet from. The game on my phone won't let me pick a picture to create the pallet from nor let me put on the girls eyes afterwards. I was confused so I downloaded it on at least 3 other peoples phones and we all have different phones so the problem isn't the version of phone one has. It worked properly on three of my friends phones and didn't work properly/didn't give the same opportunities to two of my friends phones and my phone. On the phones that it didn't work on we uninstalled and reinstalled the game MULTIPLE times. Yet the same problem arose each time. I am truly dissatisfied and disappointed by this flaw in the programming of this game. Please please please find a solution to this problem so I can play this incredibly entertaining game when I'm bored. Thank you for listening, fix your dumb mistake ASAP. Love you.
Has potential
Sun Apr 23 2023 horrorlover573648Right now I’m only giving this app two stars, but it has potential to be so much better if some changes are made. 1. There’s no incentive to keep people coming back. At the moment, this app is mostly just a boredom/fidget game, and maybe that’s its purpose, but it could be so much more. I play a few games that have voting pools. Once you’re done your creation, it’s submitted into voting. Based on how you score, you then win prizes. I would love if this app implemented that. I would love to have my palettes voted on as well as voting on others. This would also make it more fun and give players a reason to return. 2. The ads need to be toned down. It’s a free game and ads are expected, which I don’t have a problem with in general. The problem here is that there are way too many. I’m forced to watch three to five ads just to finish one design. When you spend way more time watching ads then actually playing, that’s when it becomes a problem and drives people away.
