Little Triangle is a delightful, high-precision platformer that hides a surprising amount of challenge behind its cute, geometric exterior. You play as a small triangle in a world that is essentially a giant, deadly obstacle course. The controls are incredibly tight—which is vital because the game demands pixel-perfect jumps and mid-air adjustments that will test even veteran platformer fans.
The art style is clean and expressive, giving the little protagonist a lot of personality through simple animations. I was particularly impressed by the level design; each stage introduces a new hazard or mechanic, from gravity-flipping zones to momentum-based puzzles. It captures that 'just one more try' feeling that defines the best indie platformers. While it can be frustratingly difficult at times, the checkpoints are generous and the satisfaction of clearing a particularly nasty room is immense. It’s a must-play for fans of Super Meat Boy or Celeste.
Ultra-responsive precision platforming controls
Vibrant and unique hand-drawn 2D world
Over 60 challenging levels across 3 themed worlds
Fun local multiplayer battle and co-op modes
Dozens of unlockable skins and characters
Don't burn your second jump immediately. In many levels, the gaps are wider than they look. Wait until the very apex of your first jump to trigger the second—this gives you the maximum distance and allows for mid-air corrections to avoid spikes.
Bosses in Little Triangle follow strict patterns. Don't try to attack constantly; spend the first thirty seconds of the fight simply dodging to learn their tell-tale movements. The window for a 'stomp' attack is usually right after they finish a major move.
Yes, Little Triangle fully supports MFi and Bluetooth controllers for a console-quality experience.
I am a big fan of all the cotton games! I love the graphics and gameplay. The controls need work which makes the gameplay very frustrating. The controls are sometimes non responsive. I have changed from the buttons to the joy stick and still was having difficulty. Then ads are ruining the game play and would rather pay for the game to remove ads! Little triangle will be a great game once the ads are gone and the controls are working more consistently!
Love the gameplay, but it’s difficult for the average game player. Having more hearts by add is nice, I’ve likely watched 200 ads getting to the temple boss and ninja. I can’t beat it. I’ve played for 2 hrs straight tonight, on top of 3 days of the boss level…watching ads to stay alive and was stuck on the last hit for an hour. Please consider making it easier to hit or more predictable actions to dodge and know the hit chance is coming. I’d love to keep playing your game, but I literally cannot.
Just like everyone else just said I wanna love this game but the controls are non-responsive when you need them
I love Cotton Games and I love platformers. This is *really* hard to play on an iPhone though. You can watch ad after ad for more lives, but once you lose them, you lose your progress from the last marker. The ads break the experience of the game for me and it stopped being fun. Great art as usual though!
The game often requires delicate and precise platforming, but the controls and physics just aren’t there. Feels very clunky and hard to keep control of the character. That being said, the first 3 levels are pretty easy, so I kept it up. The 4th level however, while also much harder, introduced random pop-up ads. I truly can not wrap my head around how the developers thought this was a good idea. Having my gameplay cut off to watch an ad, with no warning, made me immediately delete the game
I like how the game looks
Poor execution. This game requires a great deal of responsiveness and the implementation of the controls leaves a lot to be desired. The art is interesting, but they missed the mark when it comes to being a game I come back to again and again. Perhaps some updates can correct the issues but the current iteration of the app is not something you need to experience.
Very bad physical engine, the direction is hard to control
