Our Expert Score

86/100

Kitty Keep is a delightful and surprisingly deep tower defense game that hides its tactical teeth behind a layer of absolute cuteness. You aren't just building towers; you're managing a literal 'Clowder' of specialized cats to protect your home from an invasion of pesky, snack-stealing mice and bugs. The variety of cat 'units' is fantastic—from the long-range Archer Cat to the heavy-hitting Sumo Cat—and the synergies between them are where the real strategy lies.

The art style is vibrant and 'kawaii,' but don't let that fool you; the late-game levels require genuine planning and resource management. The progression system is very satisfying, allowing you to feed and level up your kittens to evolve their abilities. It’s a perfect blend of 'cozy' aesthetics and 'hardcore' tower defense mechanics. If you're a fan of Kingdom Rush but want something with significantly more whiskers, Kitty Keep is a purr-fect addition to your library.

THIS GAME! its sooo addicting, and not to mention skillful! Ok, ok i’ll calm down, but really, it is pretty fun 🤩 i love the whole concept, and the cute setup! I don’t wanna spoil too much though, ‘cause from my own experiences, I learned its funner to just figure it out yourself if nothing better. And its not even a “Summarize game game!” So i hope it doesn’t bother you too much. I’m just trying to give my own honest opinion. So, I just want to start by informing you about what my good thought s about the game are. Well… pretty much everything. Gahahah! Except for one tiny detail. I don’t really enjoy the part where when you press the *replay* button, you can’t get out of it! You have to restart the whole sarn level! I mean its ok, but can be slightly annoying. Especially if that level was REALLY hard, but of course its not all bad, you still win extra stuff from doing it, and that battling is still pretty fun! 🤩 HOPE YOU TRY IT OUT!!

Cool Game

If you love cats and games to waste some time to avoid talking to people, this is the game for you! 7/28: Editing to add it’s not a complete idle game as advertised. The only idle component is during 4 day events where you choose to replay a level and have upgraded your cats to tier 2 for the “auto” function to be unlocked for that specific cat.l to cast its abilities on its own. You get some of the worst cats to start an event and it’s almost forcing you to spend money to get chests to get cat upgrades sooner. You immediately hit a wall at wave 34, or at least I did, where you’re forced to grind that level out in order to farm talent points in order to progress further without spending money. Having played the entirety of the Pop Concert event, I hit rank 4 in my division without spending a dime, but had to farm countless hours on replay to max out talent points to hit wave 210 (max wave is 300) and was level 304 by the time the event ended. Again, all without spending any money on battle passes, which I believe are way over priced for a 4 day event. If the events were longer, maybe the $10 would be worth it for the mid tier pass, but asking $25 for the top tier is robbery in my opinion. When this event ended, another began allowing almost no incentive to return to the main game to continue playing there. Would be nice to have a few days in between events to allow play time in the main game.

So my mom found this game and I remember hearing just little mews coming from her phone and I didn’t rlly know what it was so I’d ask, and she said her game. I hear it every day, and she tells me about this game. She has it on all day, no joke lol. She works from home, so she just has it running. But anyway, we have the no ads version and this game is actually so addicting. I downloaded it today, and I already love it! I’m definitely a dog person, but how can I resist a game this adorable??? Little kawaii-style kitties with powers fighting invaders is amazing. I think a puppy version would be so cool too tho Love this game so far and I thank my mom

First of all why the heck are the kitties so cute. secondly the fact that you can promote them is okay but the fact that there are visual differences when you promote them is amazing, I have seen so many games where you can still promote them but there are not visual changes, which just makes this game so much better. Thirdly feel like the fact that you can collect the kitties makes me want to play more. Lastly this game is just all around fun which some games don’t have witch makes this game my new favorite game.

My dear readers, It is with great pleasure and a touch of whimsical delight that I present to you a review of a most captivating and extraordinary feline endeavor: Kitty Keep. Upon entering the digital arena, one is immediately struck by the splendidly rendered environments, meticulously designed to capture the essence of a cats playful yet territorial nature. Each cat is endowed with a unique fighting style to help on the battle field. When goodbyes must be said, and you leave your feline friends they still work. One cannot be helped but be charmed. Your most sincerely Henry Henderson

It’s not bad. It’s cute and the gameplay is super fun. Unfortunately the ways it tries to get you to spend, Don’t make you want to. Unlocking ads costs like $12. I regularly spend hundreds on games, but I will only do that if I feel I’m not being nickel and dimed. I actually would have been happy to remove ads for 2.99 or something but that price, and the way it keep being shoved in your face after every round puts me off spending anything ever. I’ll play until I hit the usual micro transaction dictated progress wall and then go find another game, I recommend y’all do as well.

I was worried getting into this that it might be all looks and not very well developed but it’s actually quite fun and polished!!! Love the simple art style and the variety of kitties to choose from and how fast each wave goes by! Doesn’t feel at all like I have to slog through each in order to continue. All in all, very very fun!!! Can’t wait to see this game develop even further!!

Best Idle/Auto Battler

I’ve played many Auto Battler/Idle games and Kitty Keep has been my favorite so far. I pre-ordered the game and have played it for hours now and have already gotten to wave 315. The game is very simple on the surface but gets more complex as you get farther into the game. I’m excited to see where the developers take the game from here. I hope they continue to show the game love as it’s a blast to say the least!
