Kingshot is a thoughtfully designed mobile game that blends slingshot mechanics with strategic combat. Players must carefully aim and launch their character to interact with environmental objects and defeat enemies. With steadily increasing challenge and polished feedback, it offers a satisfying take on the physics-puzzle genre.

Our Expert Score

72/100

Kingshot is a fun, physics-based arcade game that feels like a mix of billiards and a fantasy battler. The 'shot' mechanic is very intuitive—just drag and release to launch your 'king' into enemies. The levels are designed like little puzzles where you have to use the environment to bounce your shots and hit multiple targets at once.

While it’s not the deepest game in the world, it’s a great 'coffee break' game. The levels are short, the feedback is punchy, and there's a good variety of enemy types to keep things interesting. I wish there was a bit more variety in the power-ups, but for a casual experience, it’s very well put together and polished.

My opinion about this game
Tue Mar 18 2025 the_train25

Overall I think this game is great. There’s lots of active members, usually an event going on, it’s very engaging (unlike others like this game), and overall it’s pretty fun. Of course there are some flaws to every game but in my opinion this game has just a few. Like not having many hero’s. There are a few hero’s all you can easily unlock but I would like to see even more hero’s it just feels like a lack when I go to the hero area and just see the few that are there. I also believe certain events that are held should be longer like the fishing event felt very short and the regeneration rate of the items was very slow. I know they want you to spend money which I will admit I have on this game but I think they could improve the events. Another thing is maybe even expanding our kingdoms even more. I have unlocked and leveled up everything to a decent level in my kingdom and it just is kinda sad to see it all done. Maybe they can figure something out and add more to build and stuff into the kingdom. Like I said i genuinely love this game it’s engaging and fun and I usually don’t spend money on games but this one for some reason made me want to do it. But the game feels very short and not a lot of content. I truly believe there is a lot they could add making it one of the better mobile games out there. But it’s up to the creators to do that for us.

Update for All First as a F2P gamer I have sampled this game for nearly a month. It’s very good and a more relaxing environment than say ROK. (Sometimes) But now for some much needed rework. Alliances are of course the obvious answer but everyone can’t be in a top clan. Casual players will definitely struggle and if u are a casual player I highly suggest that u do not pursue playing this game. I play this game to have some fun but there is the usually banter/venting with VIP(nothing wrong with that) but have certain zones that are war per se, certain level of players can only attack players of similar levels (nothing like a lv30 attk lv 15 lol). As this alliance situation is still being worked on they responded to a concern I brought up within a few hours so that was fine. The most basic answer is what I expected to hear : join an alliance but if the whole server indirectly cheats by not attk each other as this is a war game. VIP alliances say for example 50clans in a server only attk say your clan and like 5 other clans wow slim pickings. I still play the game but not sure how much longer. When the servers eventually change join my group TheKingdom. This is my group of casual gamers that play smart and want to have fun. (Another game clash of clans I definitely recommend is good. Clash of Clans for example is 15want to war it’s 15 per both sides.) Kingshot its 50 against 15. Hopefully this game changes for the better. I will revisit my review but this game can improve for the better in the future. Thanks.

Game Update Recommendations
Mon Jun 02 2025 Bellebub

The game is fun so far. Some recommendations I have is to allow game transfers to different kingdom. I had a friend join but they were in a different kingdom than me. They had to start all over just so they could be in the same kingdom. If possible, it would be nice to be able to allow your current data to be transferred to another kingdom or allow kingdom selection at the beginning of the game. Another recommendation I have is to allow certain purchases to apply to your overall account and not one of the game profiles you created on your account. When I had said friend move over to my kingdom, they had to pay the $2.99 fee again just to have another builder. It would be nice to have that specific purchase apply to all your profiles instead of having to pay for it again with real money. I understand if it were a game pack that had certain heroes/perks that you wouldn’t want to apply to all profiles, but having to pay for a second builder for each profile seems like overkill. Aside from those two things the game is pretty fun. There’s a lot to do and tons of events that keep the game interesting, since each event is unique in the tasks that it requires.

NOT a tower defense game at all!
Sun Feb 22 2026 Admiral Sigma

Ok, I got into this game because I wanted a tower defense game and the ad/demo seemed fun. While there is a pseudo-tower defense element to this, it is elementary at best and you only get like two events per day. And once you play for a week it is completely repetitive and tedious. In fact at a certain level you just click a button to skip that entirely. What this game is, is a massively multiplayer kingdom building and battle simulation. You spend time gathering resources, increasing your town’s buildings levels and getting better armor/charms to grow in power. You join one of many alliances in the kingdom and then have weekly competitions of different types to gain bonuses and prestige. However, while you can have fun playing for free, to have any real chance of competing you MUST expect to spend at least $5/day buying upgrades. Since this is all virtual stuff, you are out of that money if/when you quit the game. On that note, if Century Games suspects you of cheating by using emulators and automation scripts, be prepared to lose everything with no recourse, except spending $99 to unlock your account. Seriously, there was a big purge this past week and we are without a king right now. Unfortunately, my entire alliance is being penalized because of this since no new king can be selected for another week or so. This means no kingdom-wide bonuses. The one thing I like is the worldwide community of friends I’ve built that I will continue to communicate with long after this game is uninstalled.

Disappointed

There first thing I noticed was the ads were misleading pertaining to game play, but I didn’t discount the game immediately because it could still be fun… and it was in the beginning! It has a good development story, fun characters and compelling potential of advancement. I didn’t even mind the grind of repeated tasks and long wait times to build and train. Then the p2w beast started panhandling for EVERYTHING!! I’ve played plenty of games with micro-purchasing, but this game brings it to another level. I love maximizing efficiency to compete with those that just pay to overcome their inefficiencies, but it is impossible with this one. Unless you’re willing to invest a ton of time to not even place in the top 100 in anything, move on to another game. I eventually caved in and spent some money, but quickly realized I was unwilling to spend the amount others were to compete in this game of ‘financial chicken’. So I decided to leave the game and tried to unbind my account from my credit card and pass it to my daughter who wanted to try it without purchases… after the in-game “help” asked me for the same information 3 times (which I provided with screenshots) it became obvious they would not unbind it. I deleted and moved on. To make it clear, I do not mind spending a little on games. Like to remove ads or cosmetics, but this one is 100% pay to win… or even compete! The search for a compelling f2p game continues…

Mon Oct 06 2025 AeonSim1

It’s a one-sided game, and the bigger alliances like Checkmate [CMT] in kingdom 62, bully, stalk, spam attack, harass and again spam attack much smaller players and alliances, they, [CMT], spam. They do not play fair. The developers do respond, but it is like talking to a BOT. This alliance has members who harassed us and when we reported them to their leader(s), the alliance leader(s) encouraged their behavior. This makes the game not fun to play because they are threatening and only pursuing and attacking people who are much smaller and less capable as they are, people who did not spend money to play this game, and they mark, they stalk, and they are stalking me and my alliance members. Everytime my shield is deactivated, they spam attack and I have to repair my city often because they will not leave me or my alliance alone. We never did bother them and I never did attack them although I did address them because they kept pursuing me and attacking my town each time I teleported away from them, and I told this to their alliance leader, but they did not listen. This game does not seem to have a bullying or an anti-harassment policy, it seems, but the developers are more focused on selling their in-game products, which is more of a nuisance and negligent to the general public and the App Store, as it is allowed.

Everyone stop the cap

While it has no ads and may be fun for some people, you must be a different kind of gamer. The ads are lies where you see your towers shooting guys and you build more, that isn’t in the game at all. Not only that it takes a long time to actually become strong, even if you spent money, you almost kind of have to or you will sit slowly gaining power. Let’s put it this way I only kept playing because I had the time and didn’t really care at first, but now after having to do all your daily tasks over and over which are a tiny bit tedious, then there’s events which are good but at the same time you either put in whatever is required if you have it or if you don’t and don’t spend money you just won’t get good rewards. And I’m not talking about holiday events although it has the same but they are better. So let’s say you don’t want to spend money which you shouldn’t it’s a mobile game and if anything the prices should be much lower, it will take you a while to get your center to max which is level 30 and after that you can even upgrade it and other buildings more with a certain material. You also have to get all your heroes to level 70 and get them all gold gear and upgrade the gear in two different ways and then if your lucky someone would have told you that there are seasonal heroes meaning each server depending when it started will be behind earlier servers. And each next set of new heroes are better than the last. Depending when you start and what server you get put on make sure to find out when new heroes come out for your server so you don’t just upgrade the original ones you start with. Also you need to be in an alliance or literally everything will be slower because you’ll be able to get huge amount of resources and also be able to do certain events.

Horrible game and customer support
Wed Aug 13 2025 Nuke.whfwjd

I started playing this game because the ad seemed fun. The AD IS A LIE. the game is fully pay to play. The game is not fun. The developers are purely looking to squeeze every penny out of you. There were also issues with in game experience, the customer support was horrible and made no effort to help me. They do not care about the customer base at all. Sure! Here's a satirical, intentionally "horrible" review of Kingshot whether you're referring to a film, product, or place, I’ll keep this flexible and generic. Let me know if you meant something specific! If you ever find yourself considering Kingshot, I implore you: do literally anything else. Watch paint dry. Count grains of rice. Stare directly at the sun — it’ll be more enjoyable and probably safer for your sanity. From the very first moment, Kingshot assaults your senses with the subtlety of a jackhammer and the charm of a damp sock. The plot (if you can call it that) wanders aimlessly like a confused goose, the characters are as wooden as IKEA furniture still in the box, and the pacing makes a snail look like a NASCAR driver. Whoever thought this was a good idea must have lost a bet. If it was meant to be avant-garde, it succeeded — in the sense that it boldly challenges the definition of “entertainment.” avoid Kingshot like it's a cursed VHS tape from a haunted thrift store. If this was the king’s shot, he missed by a kingdom’s length.
