Just Ski and Snowboard is a love letter to extreme sports fans who want realism over arcade flashiness. Unlike other titles that feel like endless runners, this is a full-blown simulation. The use of 3D Touch (or long presses) to style tricks and 'tweak' your rotations gives you a level of control that is rarely seen on mobile. Landing a massive air at a real-world resort location like LAAX feels genuinely earned.

The game is massive, with over 38 spots to master and a deep level of customization for your character's gear. The steering technology is sensitive and takes some time to master, but once you do, you can link together lines that look professional. It’s a 'premium' experience that combines two standalone games into one definitive package, offering endless replayability through its competition and training modes.

This app is amazing with plenty of locations and courses to choose from. Great for when you’re on an airplane or in a place without service and need a game to kill some time. Definitely worth the money to get this game and be able to choose whether you want to ski or snowboard, be a boy or girl and get to explore tons of the different courses set up. When you finish a run, there is an in depth replay system where you can rewatch your runs in 1st person or many other different views. Do be aware that this game will drain your battery since it is very resource intensive. I play the game using an iPhone Xs and can notice the power consumption. If you do get the game, check out my personal favorite level, LAAX #2, with the start location being Top to Bottom. 3-4 minute course with jumps and rails that takes quite a bit of work to master start to the end. There is no other game like this on the App Store right now and I hope that more updates and levels can be added in the future.

This game has great graphics and smooth gameplay. I would recommend it to anyone who skis or snowboards. Some things that I would improve: -add an option for full rotation control. It seems like current spins and flips are animated on a preset axis and not fully controlled by rider input. I tried to do a dipped 360 for a long time and could only get the character to do a 180 backflip. It would be nice to have the option of getting a virtual joystick that has full rotation control. -faster spins/flips off rails and boxes. He seems to rotate really slow off features -more types of grinds -‘bunnyhopping’ on rails -more character customization -add some sort of goal to achieve. Whether it’s achievements or a career mode or tournaments it would be nice to feel like there’s something to do after beating all the challenges. Even a daily or weekly line that people could post scores on would help keep the game interesting! Overall it’s a great skiing game, I played the free preview and bought this specifically to show support for what you’re doing. Great job!

Totally worth it

This app has 5 levels each with like 6 different areas to choose from and there’s no ads or IAP’s just skiing ⛷ and snowboarding 🏂 Totally worth the 4 bucks And the snowboarding and skiing actually feel different and your able to choose male or female. It’s really fun IMO I got it cause I’ve been playing steep on my Xbox here lately and wanted something a little like it for iOS and this is a great game for just passing time All in all I say you should get it! (Hi I’m the bottom line of a review people don’t notice me much)

I’m really happy with my purchase of this game. The gameplay is incredibly fun. I really like the levels and amount of variety and realistic tricks. I have played a lot of Steep but this is the type of game I’ve been wishing I had on console. Lucky for us we can play it on our phones. Perfect for getting amped for this next season of snowboarding.
