Son Loves This Game: Huge BUT and BEWARE

For the concept and dino collecting and graphics this game would get 5 stars. BUT and these are big ones, like other reviews mention, the game has some bugs and major glitches. This in regards to unmatched level battles against other players, rigged matches where you lose when you should win, and freezing or the game playing for you when it shouldn’t and you end up losing. Also the points and bonuses in the game that we should have received we weren’t getting, the numbers on the screen didn’t match or allocate to what we should have received. Now for the BEWARE. I have had to restart this game from scratch for my son twice already, once because of the above issues being so bad, that it was unplayable and so unenjoyable. The second time it was a bit better with the aforementioned, however one day when he got on, his whole collection of Dino’s (which was better then the first) and other items were wiped clean, he had nothing left. He was so upset and cried so hard, it broke my heart to pieces and I refused to let him continue playing. That was maybe 2 months ago, and because he is in absolute love with dinos, yet again he wants me to re-download it for the 3rd time. Hopefully someone who can really fix these issues sees this and looks into it. It’s sad and unfair that people waste good time and money to only end up sobbing in something they truly enjoy with all their heart.

Very obsessing and good game but needs more features and bug fixes

JW alive has a been a favorite of mine even before it came out (I pre-registered). And it has served me well. There are very annoying bugs going around the game, and recommend those should be fixed. Like if I accidentally exit the app, it can restart the whole game, make this magenta colored screen, or basically kick me out of the battle I’m in and take control of my team with AI saying “Catching up to present”. Also, Ludia, I think the game can have a few more features like: alliance peace treaty’s/alliance friends and alliance wars/conflicts, and betting like for cash, coin or DNA in battles and stuff like that. Also, the AI I face in campaign and just normal battles, get like 75% critical chance for them (while it says they still have 5%), while I still have 5%, they also know what your going for so they can perfectly counter the attack. But, anyways, Ludia has done such a good job with COVID-19 situation, there adding giga scents, which attract a variety of different dinosaurs, and have increased the drone meter for normal and VIP. Speaking of VIP, VIP should be lowered to $5 a month instead of $10 a month just because of its abilities and features. And Ludia, some back round info, I honestly got this game noticed by me from TheGamingBeaver, so when you get the time, give him some JW the game and JW alive bucks (also say it was from me). Thank Ludia! (If you even read this).

Love the game and the added raids!

I rarely review games because they are so costly. Not to mention the time it takes to refresh or start another section of the game. Jurassic World Live however can be played completely free. I admit I have put money into this game to level faster but it’s definitely not required. You can easily play this game for hours everyday and I love the pvp and raids. The map of the area you are in is really awesome as well. You obtain dino dna from literally your own backyard. You can walk or drive to obtain even more if you are so inclined but there is plenty in your own home area. Combining the dna to make stronger super dinos can be very slow at times but what fun would it be if you didn’t have to work for the “Unique” and “Apex” creatures. And to obtain the Apex creatures it does take the coordination of your alliance but that really turns into a lot of fun. There is limited chat capability and I’m sure that is to keep everyone safe but that can be a little frustrating at times. Especially when you are coordinating a raid with your alliance but Discord pretty much solves that issue. I’ve met a lot of great people. I highly recommend this game. It’s quite ingenious and they are constantly giving us new updates. (Developers please stop changing the dinos “powers” around, it’s frustrating when we work so hard on a creature and then it’s worthless at the next update). Thank you for making such an amazing game!!!!!

Awesome Game!

Thank you so much for making this game! I love playing it and it’s so fun! I could not recommend it more! Very well done graphics and the sounds that the dinosaurs make are SO realistic. Plus, it’s free so I didn’t have to pay for it! Major acknowledgement to the people who made it! I started playing this game because I love dinosaurs and this looked pretty cool. So I downloaded it. And now I’m so glad I did! I’ve been playing it for a while now and I think it’s the best game I’ve ever played. I kind of like Pokémon Go and this is kind of like it...but WAY better I’m so happy I got the game. I’ve never seen a game as cool as this one. Thank you very much for making this game so much fun! I think the best part is that it has new stuff and always creates more. Some games I’ve played before aren’t that fun because it’s the same thing. Like only one basic idea, but this one has so many different features that all go along very well with the point of the game. There’s battling, collecting dinosaurs, evolving them into huge strong dinosaurs, and SO many dinosaurs. I never get bored because just when I think I’ve collected all the species, a new amazing one comes around and then once I get that one a new one comes along. Besides that you can join groups made up of other players and there’s nest strikes were you can battle Dino’s for super amazing stuff! I think it’s just amazing and nothing less.

If you are a dinosaur lover, you will think it’s a dream come true, I think this is one of the best dinosaur games ever created! And you’ll love this game! What are you freaking waiting for? PRESS DOWNLOAD! Well, this is my new entry. The game is really cool and I’ve read some critical reviews, but most of them are about the the unrealistic details and updates fixing nothing, I do agree that there is lots of things to control. But it being unrealistic is not just because they want you to pay money for a stegosaurs betting the legendary indo rex, it’s just the point of the game! To get stronger! Most of the updates add new stuff into the game. Developer’s if your reading this maybe look at other reviews to see any bugs you can fix, including this: I’m on mobile iPad. And it’s kinda old... but sometimes (now just started) the game lags a TON. It started out of nowhere, it lags when the other player (PVP battles) makes a move, then lags when when it’s your turn, do you cant press anything while it loads! Then un lags when ur turn is over! I’ve lost many times because of this, after a hour or so 30 minutes maybe, it stopped, still lagged a bit, out of the battles and in, but then the game choose my own moves for battling! Instantly! Like it was one of those bots on battle things on the map. Please look into this so I know if it’s my device or not. Thanks!

More Addicting Than Pokemon Go!

I’ve been in love with dinosaurs since i was just a little child. Ive watched every Jurassic Park movie over and over again and that just really kindled my love for dinosaurs. This game is not only addicting but its actually full of things to do. This game has great mechanics for the dino battling system that actually makes you really think how you will make your team. It isnt just go for the strongest because there are others things to consider like their shield, speed and critical hit chance that can make this game very diverse in the battling section. In the roaming section, this game masters. You have a drone this time (in game) that you use to shoot darts and dinos you find in the world to make that dinosaur. You can level them up to increase their health and damage as well as combining certain dinos together to make hybrids which is not a chance you get that often might i add. This game makes you feel so rewarded for getting epic and rare dinosaurs in your world its just so addicting. Finally, the incubator and cash system. People may think having micro-transactions in this would make it easy to level up and do better. Maybe, but i never felt like i needed to do it because the game gives you cash by doing challenges and finding supply drops around the world which are so easy to find. So, overall, this game is awesomely balanced and just a very big treat for dinosaur fans.

I LOVE THIS GAME!!! But there are bugs.

I love jw alive so much but there are a few problems. When I first played the game on my old tablet it worked great! But recently I got a new tablet I was put as a kid and I am but where I got the game again it won’t let me in the game. But I also think that there should be an increase in common - rare dinos in the area your drone can reach. I also this you should add a battery or something to the store so one day you can place it some where and you can fly your drone over there so you can catch more dinos. I also think you should add people being attacked by Dino’s so you can fight the Dino and possibly get a raptor or what ever Dino was attacking the person. And I know that some people think that this is a rip off of Pokémon but it’s NOT. There may be raids and stuff but that’s it. But I would like the game even more if you added more Dino’s to the game. I also think to be able to get indonimus or indoraptor dna you should have to go on a quest like for indonimus you have to kill the mosasaras and cut off another bone from indonimus’ body to get his/her dna. Or for the indoraptor you have to battle a few strong Dino’s and then you get the dna. I also think that Dinos should more around to and from you randomly so you have a chance at catching a just out of reach Dino. Ps I really give the game 4 and a half stars.

Not A Pokémon Go Ripoff

I went into this game with low expectations as I expected it to be a knockoff version of Pokémon Go, but wow was I wrong! This game is incredibly fun, and (Niantic, listen up!) fixes a LOT of what’s wrong/frustrating with PoGo. What’s most frustrating about PoGo for me is the lack of pokestops/gyms to interact with, even though I live in the suburbs of a major capital city in the US. After I moved out of Manhattan, it stopped being fun. But with JWA, there’s so much to interact with! There are LOTS of supply drops (essentially a DinoStop) dotted all over residential neighborhoods, unlike PoGo. You also don’t have to be RIGHT NEXT to a Dino to catch it, although the closer you are the better your chances. You can also look around the map and see Dino’s in the distance you want to go after so you know where to go! There’s also a crazy fun battle feature, log in bonuses, and a good amount of proximity spawns/events that make me want to keep logging in and playing. There’s also no speedlock, so if you’re a passenger on a road trip, or even commuting to work on a bus/train, you can still play which is fantastic! The only thing I wish was different: I want to be able to nickname my dinosaurs!! I hope that comes in a later update. Otherwise, keep going, game developers! You did a fantastic job and brought the joy back to a style of game that’s been long missing from Pokémon Go.
