Thu Apr 11 2024 MugWortsI really enjoy this app except for two things, one of them probably going to make me delete the app. First, the developers added a reward? Cheer? With a recent change several pieces you've put together suddenly slide into place with a fireworks display. I just want to be able to attach several pieces together before always having to put them in the puzzle separately, and to be able to attach those pieces to the rest of the puzzle myself without being rewarded for it by rather childish methods, and also to avoid being startled. As a person with PTSD this doesn't help no matter how small this seems and so I have to mention it in case others are supersensitive as well. I then can't fully relax doing the puzzles anyway for anticipation of it coming, and spend time trying to make sure none of those pieces get close enough to already attached pieces that suddenly sets off the splash of fireworks. The second issue for me has just appeared today where the line of pieces to choose from at the bottom has become two, one stacked on top of the other, and it basically wipes out any space there used to be at the outside of the bottom of the puzzle to work on fitting pieces together before adding them inside the puzzle. This one will probably have me delete the app because there's little enough room there as it is and now it's basically nonexistent. I don't know what the reasoning is for this change but it doesn't seem necessary so explanation would be nice. Also if there is a way to reset it back to one line of pieces instead of two please instruct how. Or to stop the fireworks display for that matter. I'm sad to say that won't be using this app much any longer except for checking in to see if any of this changes, because I otherwise enjoyed it.
Sample picture is too big
Thu Aug 29 2024 BgghxtyThis is the third time I’ve written about the size of the sample picture. It used to be able to adjust it so the smaller version could be kept to the side and not obstruct the game. Then it became too big and always covers part of the game making it necessary to move the sample time and time again. I resigned myself to not seeing it changed to the adjustable size but I’m in the middle of a 400 piece puzzle and I’m just plain tired of moving the sample off the puzzle so I can see what I’m doing. PLEASE make the sample adjustable again. It was a stupid change. Can’t imagine why anyone thought it would be a good idea. Love the puzzles but am getting frustrated. It appears I never sent the above paragraph the last time you made a horrible change. Now this one with the side pieces is even way worse. The sample hides the pieces AND a part of the puzzle. STOP making changes. Every time you do, it is a disaster. This one may really drive me off to another app. Don’t you understand the sample shouldn’t have to be moved frequently. It is more than annoying. Go back to the one before this last change. I do not want to have to also move pieces in three directions. IT IS AN AWFUL CHANGE.

Sat Nov 22 2025 Anna 🍌Update (original review below): Today when I opened the puzzle, there were the normal annoying ads for other games that play every time I open the app, finish a puzzle, start a new puzzle, etc. But now there are these ads with sound that force pauses anything I’m listening to. They only take up a small part of the board, and they do allow me to mute them, but only after they play long enough to stop whatever I’m listening to before the mute option opens, so I have to leave the puzzle app to go to the other app to restart what I’m listening to. Then within only a minute or two, another loud ad pops up and this process repeats over and over. It’s now impossible to use this app to relax, even if I give up trying to listen to something in the background, I am jarred out of the peace that puzzling brings by yet another loud ad that I must listen to before I can mute it. I spend more time trying to mute the ads than doing the puzzle. I was willing to deal with the ads before, since it’s a free app, but the new in-puzzle ads have ruined any calm. I would rather pay, but there is no option for that, so I am deleting this app. So disappointing. The following original review was 5 stars: I love these puzzles. The ads can be annoying, but they aren’t very long, so no big deal. I would love for there to be a search function to find puzzles based on my mood or interest. I really don’t like having to scroll to find what I’m looking for. There are soooo many puzzles, that a search option is almost needed! Thanks again.

Mon Oct 24 2022 17OwlI was really happy about the puzzles and enjoying them until…..there was an ad just shown and you know, I’m completely offended!! It started off very inappropriately and NOT suited for young eyes at all nor mine as an adult!!! How irresponsible of whatever company for making such games/ads. Idk if this company is the one who is in charge of what ads are displayed or not, but if so, what a shame!! I’m deleting this app because I don’t want to have to risk seeing such filth again! I can only pray young children don’t see it either. I shouldn’t have to pay for apps all the time just to avoid having ads like the one that was shown. It would be nice if there were a way to block and report such ads as well. Partial nudity and sexual content should never be displayed in an app and for children to risk even seeing. Another app wasted due to stupid ads. I really was enjoying the puzzles. Ahhhh!! Update: You say that you’re aware and trying to resolve it. I truly hope so. It really made me sick and am still having flashbacks. I barely can open anything without fear of seeing that filth. Your app ad claims it’s supposed to be an ad free game. Yet it has ads all the time throughout. Am I supposed to pay for it to be as free? I don’t remember seeing that part. I still haven’t reinstalled it. I’m really scared to even try at this point. I miss the beautiful puzzles. The graphics are very nice! I might reinstall later this week. I haven’t decided. Thanks for reaching back and understanding how horrible that ad was. I pray you guys can get those blocked once and for all.
not many settings
Sun May 07 2023 silverangel116while I love that in this version I can utilize the space outside the puzzle, and I love the select multiple, there are still some strong settings that are lacking on this app. while some may love the X-Large puzzle size I found the size of the puzzle peices (when not on the board) are way too large and take up too much scree. also I thought when purchasing the app(wish it was a one time purchase and not a subscription) would allow for more room with the adds gone; however instead of an add the space is just taken up by a blank space, yet again taking away from the main puzzle area. I also love on other puzzle apps that you can move the peices to the right of the screen or the bottom, while in this app peices go to the right only on smaller size puzzles. That being said it would be great to have a larger amount of peices. 400 seems low compared to other puzzle apps where they have 450 + size puzzles. I’d love the puzzle board to have more of a zoom out feature. the zoom in is perfect. so far this is a much better upgrade compare to the puzzles app version previously.
Used to LOVE this App - not so much anymore
Sat Jan 17 2026 Otto’s NestI used to love this app. I mean, really, really love it. I would listen to my audiobook and work on puzzles every day. I didn’t even mind the ad before and after the puzzle like one other person complained about. That seemed fair to me for the LARGE selection of beautiful puzzles and features/options that were perfect and just enough- and not overwhelming. But now they’ve done something different with ads. First, they have these annoying audio ads that pop up every few minutes and blast thru my earpiece and interrupt my audio book. And also when I do my puzzles, my audiobook won’t play half of the time. So I will probably have to move on to something else because listening to my audio books will win this fight - there are just too many other game / puzzles options. It’s a shame because this was my favorite app literally of all time but it’s too expensive to buy for an entire year. If the cost was half then I would probably do it but the cost is just too high. Its might just be the end of an era for me.
Lost 000’s of Gems and all “My Puzzles” Apple Pencil
Tue Jul 11 2023 WykatmomWith my new iPad and new Apple Pencil, for months, this app has been my daily companion. Suffering a recent brain injury, the slide and glide, colors, photographs, gestures, and all workings have continued to play a significant part in my restoration therapy…until recently. I purchased the game. Suddenly, with “rotate” selected, the pieces no longer rotate with the Apple Pencil. My first inclination was to check the Help Center. Nothing to suggest the pieces no longer rotating. So I turn to you, my trusted compatriots who love this puzzle game as much as I, for anyone who might experience the same. Customer Service Chat responded with a hope to update the game soon as they are aware of ongoing problems. Now, they say check the new update. All aspects work as usual but for the puzzle pieces rotating with the new Apple Pencil. I’ve uninstalled, lost all of my gems and saved puzzles, re-installed, tried, and tried again, to no avail. A few re-downloads later, still nothing. My iPad and Pencil work with all apps, but this one, (for rotating pieces). For fear of sounding dramatic, I feel as though I’ve lost a trusted calming, restorative companion that has helped me through a tough time. Any help on this is warmly embraced. Thank you.
Recently disappointed
Fri Mar 14 2025 SharpasaurusI have been exclusively enjoying this jigsaw puzzle app daily for a few years now. I really like the variety of images that you can choose from and that it is not timed. It has given me a way to relax and clear my mind. However, recently the ads have become so intrusive and scammy. Before there were ads before and after you played a puzzle plus the flashing banner ads at the bottom which were annoying yet expected in a free app. But now there are ads that kick me out of the puzzle completely, taking me to the website for the ad, sometimes with the frequency of every few minutes. They are claiming to be a cyber security service or some such nonsense. Also there is another ad that randomly sends out a screeching noise and I have no idea how to stop it without completely closing the app. These things have taken all of the enjoyment and calming effects away from the puzzles for me. It is very disappointing and I don’t understand why the puzzle app people would want to ruin their game by hiring these types of ads. For these reasons I am going to investigate other puzzle apps to play instead of this one.
