Insaquarium Tap Aquarium is a modern mobile tribute to the classic 'Insaniquarium' games many of us grew up with. The premise is simple: feed fish, collect coins, and protect your tank from alien invaders. It's a chaotic, click-heavy game that starts slow but quickly becomes a frantic management challenge.

The charm lies in the various pets you can unlock, each providing a unique passive ability—like a snail that picks up coins or a swordfish that helps fight off aliens. It captures that early-2000s PC gaming energy perfectly, and while it can feel repetitive, the constant upgrades and new tanks provide plenty of incentive to keep tapping.

HOW TO GET PAST ALIEN GLITCH

Update: I completed adventure mode! I tried the whale tricks that others have suggested, it works but it’s slow and you have to be really careful on timing when your fish go from guppies to adults. What I do: When the rock alien appears, get a few hits in then go back to the main menu/title screen (just pausing doesn't work). When you renter your level (progress will be saved), and get a few more hits in and repeat. It takes a little time with a low power gun, but it works. Every hit will bring down the health a little bit and exiting to the title screen will delay the attack by a few seconds. The main thing is to not let the rock alien attack. There are a few levels that prompt you to reselect your pets, don’t worry you didn’t restart your level. You can chose the same pets or actually use this as an opportunity to switch out your pets mid-game (a helpful glitch). I find it helpful to use Blimp during these levels because he shows you the health bar. That way you can estimate how many more times you need to hits you need. If he happens to attack and the game crashes, open it back up, enter the level, and quickly close without attacking. Do this a few times. It will push his attack time back enough for you to get a few hits in. Once you upgrade to a higher strength gun, you can take him out really fast and don’t have to worry about the game crashing. I hope this helps! this game bring so much nostalgia, but It crashes at a certain level. Please please please fix!! I’d give it 5 stars if it was fixed

A way to get around the 3-4 glitch!

Since I was really obsessed with this childhood game that brings back so many memories, I decided to find a way around the 3-4 glitch. You will need plenty of shells(I earned mine through the time trials of tank 1 and 2) in order to get the Nostradamus, which can postpone attacks. Then I picked wadsworth(to hide the small fish) and shrapnel(to amass money bc you will have limited help from the guppies and exotics). The key is to calculate really really carefully when the alien is arriving and then starve your exotics and big fish right before that. You will need a lot of patience and a long time before you can amass enough money to buy weapons that kills the stone alien before he attacks. The Nostradamus helps because it postpones attacks and if it doesn’t sometimes, the game crashes and you can still go back to continue, and it may protect you this time, given the sneezing pattern is random. Eventually I upgraded the weapons to 7 or 8 and killed the stone alien easily. Then from there I played all the way to the final. The stone alien still appears occasionally, but with the help of Rufus, Gash and Itchy together in later levels, you can kill it before it attacks. Even if you cannot, by exiting and reentering the game, other aliens(not the stone aliens) may arrive and you will be fine. The alien appearing pattern is random. It was a really really annoying glitch and I am surprised the developer still didn’t fix it. But if you are really interested in moving forward, hope this helps.

I first discovered this game through pop cap? Gamehouse? Big Fish? maybe 15 years ago. It was one of the funnest games I ever played. I found it in an app about 5 to 8 years ago and while a little harder to play it was still fun. I saw it again today in the App Store and thought I download it for fun and nostalgic reasons. Everyone is talking about how the game crashes in level 3–4 however I can't get past the first scene because the game won't upgrade the food and I can't release more than one piece of basic food at a time and my fish keep dying. I'm jealous that everyone can get higher than the very first screen. So I guess it's safe to say this game is done for the app. I'll just go find it on one of my old hard drives. At least now I have a computer strong enough to actually keep the virtual tank as a screensaver. 🤣🤣

Hello! Paid 99 cents for this game which honestly was worth it up until Adventure tank 3-4. Every single time the rock alien would attack the app would crash. I can’t emphasize every single time enough. I saw someone note that if you only have med/small guppies WITH the whale pet and make sure you have ZERO large fish it’s sort of a loop hole but it’s super hard to do that and while it is challenging, it’s almost impossible. Also I can’t move on to further thing until I finish adventure mode so it’s frustrating that I paid 99 cents and I’m feeling slightly gaslit. Lol, all love cause this game for real looks the exact same and is very nostalgic but it’s frustrating only because I want to continue it.

I used to love the original game as a kid! This mobile version has quite a few noticeable differences, like the art and some of the fish colors and designs, but everything else looks great! Except the crashes… once you get to adventure 3-4 and you experience the weird stone monster for the first time.. the game crashes like crazy when you try to fight it. Then when you log back in it starts the fight over?? And then keeps crashing! What the heck?? How am I supposed to continue playing if the game keeps crashing? Shame.. I don’t feel like this game is worth any money if it’s unplayable. If the Devs ever decide to fix it then I’d say buy it right up and you won’t regret it!

Cement Alien Crashes!!

As soon as I make it to Adventure 3-4 and the Cement Alien appears, the game completely crashes every single time. I’ve tried restarting the level to see if that will fix it, and it does not. I’ve even tried using Itchy and Rufus and absolutely not touching the screen to see if that would fix the issue, and the game still force closes. I’ve grown up playing this game so that’s why I’m giving it 3 stars, but the bugs on this game is absurd and needs to be fixed immediately. The original game does not have all these bugs so it is frustrating. All the other reviews have my same exact complaints. Please fix your app so I can fully enjoy this game.

Until this bug is fixed, this app isn’t worth it. I was excited to download this game as I used to love playing it on the computer as a child. However in this version, once you get to level 3-4 in adventure mode, the game will crash about halfway through the level. Nothing you do will get around the crash and you’re basically stuck there. If I could leave a 0 star review, I would. This problem has clearly persisted for quite some time as all of the reviews state this issue as well, going back to quite some time ago. Clearly the creators don’t care about the game or the users and it’s pointless to pay the 99 cents to download. Absolutely worthless game. DO NOT BUY. Reported it to apple, hopefully the issue is either fixed or the game is taken down.

Its a fun game but on 3-4 you have to challenge your patience because there is the bug with the stone monster. I used whale and mermaid to pass it but as long as you get enough money to make profit before killing all your guppies its a good strategy. I noticed the guppies wont become adults before the monster shows up. So i use that as a reset timer and kill all my guppies and then buy new ones untill i can kill the stone monster faster than it can target. Other than that its a good game its just an extra challenge to beat those levels
