Great, but not fair to dedicated players (EDITED)
Fri Jan 24 2025 Lorax333

***EDIT: I just wrote the review down below less than a week ago, and the developers have already responded and updated the game! The clothing set in the new event is so much more affordable for players who don’t spend real money on the game! If you’re looking for a game with developers who listen to their players and care what you have to say, this one is it!! Please don’t ever change your customer service <3 Original review: I really love this game and I play it every day! There’s always mini games to play that add to the excitement. My biggest complaint is that those mini games, along with other events, typically only last under a week. This would be fine if it weren’t so incredibly difficult to get the exclusive outfits that are earned through the events. Unless you pay with real money, it’s nearly impossible to get the full outfits even if you’ve saved up diamonds (which are also very difficult to get without spending money). The only people who are able to get the limited-time outfits are people who have extra cash that they can spend on mobile games, which isn’t fair to people who don’t have that luxury, and especially unfair to people who dedicate hours of time and effort into the game, just to have their time wasted. Again, I really enjoy this game, but I just wish the developers would make it easier for players to get rewarded for their hard work!!

Only gave a 5 star because this is the only way the devs will see this or acknowledge this. This game is a huge scam. The devs are super money hungry and not worth the headache. No real way to get top influencers unless you spend money because the same people who usually spend money spend weeks if not months holding the top 3 spots. The outfits are ridiculous prices unless, again, you guessed it, spend actual money. If you want a whole outfit be prepared to spend close to $500 for one entire outfit. For example, a payout of 70 tickets per dice roll, you get 30 dice, you want more? Spend money, the outfit costs about 600k tickets, for an event that lasts 3 days. So unless you're spending money or don't have a life where you can spend every waking minute on the game, good luck getting that outfit. No real progression from this game unless you're spending money and fighting with everyone for a spot that has no limits from previous winners to give other people a chance. You have to save at least 4 months of resources if you're not spending money to get that top spot for specific rewards it you. I hate this game with a passion because of how greedy the devs are and it just shows they don't listen to the community because they keep raising prices on everything!!!!

less photoshoots throughout the story

I love this game. however, I’ve noticed that there is often photoshoot after photoshoot throughout the story, and it’ll be a photoshoot that’s not even necessary, such as her trying to discover something that could be found in a regular conversation. i’d prefer it to be dialogue if it’s not an actual photoshoot that my character is doing for her brand. having so many photoshoots constantly not only disrupts the flow of the storyline, but myself and other players are growing frustrated because it requires so much energy (and the higher in level you get, the more energy it requires), so we are constantly having to wait for more energy even after getting some. it’s never enough so you have to frequently wait and it takes away from the flow and enjoyment of the game. I have noticed several players discuss this in the chat. I hope something can be done about this—either more spread out photo shoots/more dialogue and interaction between characters, or at least not as much energy being used. I saw one person say they saved up millions of energy and then they were only able to get through two steps in a photoshoot. that is gonna turn people off from the game. additionally, I agree with the reviewer who said there should be more tangible consequences and outcomes, such as losing followers and being canceled for a scandal or rumor.

I love this game

This game is so incredibly fun. I grew up playing Sims, and mostly enjoyed the fashion aspects of the game. I saw the ad for this game a few times and eventually gave in and downloaded it…. I haven’t stopped playing it since! The stories are fun, the love plots are engaging and spicy, and there are always fun side quests and challenges to participate in. I did send feedback to them about some frustration that I was experiencing. As you get further into the game, it gets more challenging to complete stories due to lack of stamina/energy. I noticed some other people on Reddit talking about this, as well, and they were much further in the game than I am. When I sent this feedback, they responded by thanking me for the feedback and sending me some gifts! Energy, cash, diamonds and some other items, as well. I thought that was soooo thoughtful and kind. I didn’t expect a response, and this response reassured me that they’re listening to feedback and working to make the game better for its users. So, I’m absolutely going to keep playing as I believe that it will just keep getting better 👏👏

I do enjoy the game

I love this game as it’s my closest thing to Kim Kardashian Hollywood and other games I play💘 however this is the most money hungry one I have encountered yet. Every other game I play allowed you to spend ‘premium’ currency, in this case gems, to advance in events or any other game; yet Influencer Story only allows purchases … ? I would be more inclined to buy gems if I could use them more than once a day in events. Also we get time limited rewards within a 4day span or so, that correlate with another small minigame in game. The minigame usually ends before the 4 days are over so I am still getting items to use for the it but it’s already ended. Also the claim time for time-limited rankings lasts too long.. it gives us a day or so to claim which is nice however we could also start a new time-limited ranking while being able to claim the previous ones.. so we can still use in game items and level up in a timely manner.. there’s a lot that could be improved but I do enjoy the game.. I do feel bad for free to play players as I feel they can never get the outfits from the events 😕 either make them last longer or make the outfits cheaper. There’s no reason an in game outfit should be costing someone $30+

Needs a revamp

I really enjoyed this game at first because it seemed like it was easy to advance and win items.. but then it quickly turned into so many portions of the game that need to be completed to make advancements that it makes it almost impossible to go further in the game unless you get on the game multiple times a day. It takes a lot of joy out of the game. Additionally, if you don’t spend money on the game, you won’t gain any of the cool outfits and the mini games within the game are almost pointless unless you spend money because you can only earn the jewelry items or maybe a hairstyle but never the whole outfit. The money I have put into the game doesn’t go very far, and you would need to spend money every day to be one of the top players and let’s be real not everyone has disposable money in that way. I would like to see better mini games to where to can earn more items without spending, maybe less tasks to keep up with to advance, and more of a true game play. I always loved how the Kim K game included houses you could own, furniture you could buy, and have a real “lover”. I’m not a huge fan of the multiple lovers in this game or how your advancement with them doesn’t mean much.

Was fun, but quickly gets ruined by high energy costs

If I had rated this 3 weeks ago when I got the game, it’d probably be 4-5 stars, but I’m glad I waited. It starts out as a fun game that fills the kkh void, but eventually it stalls and you aren’t making any progress. There’s so many events and things to do, but it’s pointless when one section of one chapter takes literally days to complete because the energy cost is so high. I expect it to get harder as you make your way up the list, but with all of my contacts as developed as I can it’s over 1 million per energy click? That’s ridiculous. At this point I log in, collect resources, upgrade my contacts as much as possible, attempt to make progress in the main story (only getting maybe 1/3 of a star each day) and get back off. You can’t even fill the time with love encounters because they become impossible to even get a single star without spending a bunch of actual money to level up on VIP to get the outfits you need. I get having in app purchases to make the game easier, not to make it playable. Even then, I’m not sure it’d work because the energy cost is insanely high. To be honest I’m maybe a week away from just deleting the game since I’m only on the C- list and there’s already nothing to do other than collect resources to make maybe a tiny bit of progress a day.

Has potential

When I first started the game I was obsessed. It’s a really great game but there are things that need to be addressed: 1) Main Quest goals-started off great then I started getting the login days. As soon as I claimed my day 5 rewards. I got the “login 6 days”. This would be fine if I had the option to collect other rewards in the meantime, but I have to wait until tomorrow to collect anything at all. Really annoying to get them back to back too. There’s no way around this other than waiting 2) Energy-started off fine but the amount of energy to complete tasks is ridiculous and makes it impossible. especially not being able to collect the main quest rewards due to the login day delay. I wouldn’t mind paying 99¢ or even $1.99 every now and then for more energy but the only options given to me are $4.99 or $9.99. I spend more on games when I can make small purchases. I’m driven away by larger costs. 3) Cafe- I’m new to this and haven’t played it and I do really like it but I have no way to make the coffee and can’t complete anymore orders. Can’t use diamonds or even real money to break open the coffee so I’m stuck and can’t complete a single order
