Great game concept lackluster delivery.

I really like this game concept. It’s engaging and the storyline is solid. The game as it is has a few issues. The first thing is the fact that characters disappear and appear out of sequence. For instance when the daughter shows up the son is gone, and when you need to invest in the sons project the Pay For Your Daughter’s College background shows up. I also think that the Meet category should be renamed Life Events. The wife also disappears after the Pay For Your Daughter’s Kindergarten which makes no sense. Also what’s up the daughter’s vampire teeth? I have no problem with the adds I actually think that the way it’s set up so you can watch adds to get extra money is cool. It would be nice if there were more options as far as picking the main character and who he dates and can marry as that would add some depth and replay value as well. Overall a good game. Fun and entertaining but does need a few updates and improvements.

Mehhh

The game is entertaining for a day or so until you figure out the nature of the game. I made millions within the first two days and didn’t even need to do the stupid upgrades. The formula of the game is to keep you on a runaway train but once you realize you don’t need to follow the game path they start shorting you on the rewards, not cool. You either get spoon fed the plot and never get out of poverty or you master the game early like I did and make millions with in the first couple of days. And there is not enough interaction with your significant other to keep it at least a little entertaining who is just another prop to get you to spend money. Hint: once you get to play roulette always bet one token on black and the other on red, you can’t lose. The overall composition is geared toward 12 yr olds that never took courses in economics. If you are older than that the game is very poor. Good premise but bad follow through. I deleted the game on my fourth day because it was’t worth the memory space on my iPad. To the developers: figure out your audience and either make it adult oriented or sesame street. You can’t mix both and expect good results. It becomes pointless really quickly. I think it has a high rating because they solicit you to rate the game constantly in the first couple of sessions when you are broke, which was kinda entertaining. Good for a minute but not compelling enough to keep you engaged more than a few times playing.

I died :( no matter what

I grinded on this game didn’t spend any money, just watched ALOT of ads to get by. Towards the end no matter what I did the ads couldn’t save me because all of the sudden you start going into negative balance that keeps adding up no matter what I tried to do. I reached job level 57 I believe around there when I died, there were times I would watch ads to rank up my job to make more money to get out of the negatives but even ranking up a few times It still constantly racked up the ongoing negative balance. Let’s just say I was towards the end but was forced to die because every time you level up towards the end the more costs is taken out of your balance. I reached career level 57 around there and making $200k a month but my monthly cost was over $300k a month, that kept on racking up in the negatives, because I leveled up since it’s a task, but died bc I leveled up, I had to get a chopper that cost atleast 3mil while racking up the negative balance, so no money to spend on my health to live, even when I watched ads it couldn’t save me. In the end I made it so far but got screwed, died, and the game restarted from the beginning. Game was fun, but I’m sad I lost everything because I died. I guess nothing left to do besides uninstall the game because I am not starting all over again because I died.

Super Terrible Glitch

I love this game, ever since I downloaded this game and it’s been fun but it has a game changing glitch. So I am at a spot where I have to buy the “Premium Car” which is 75k. I have to use a side job to get 4K per like 2 minutes but that is fine. It gets really irritating towards the end. About five minutes ago I got to 73k, I need one more month to have enough. Then suddenly- blank. I get teleported out of the app. The first time this happened I was just confused and went back into the game. I got into the game and realized something, it was ALL gone. I was right back to the amount of money I had when I joined the game, 15k. This has happened twice and it makes me wanna pull my hair out. In total I’ve wasted around 1 and a half hours just sitting on the couch, and no the wait to get to 73k WAS NOT fun. I have good attention span but it doesn’t mean the wait was fun. The weird thing is, EVERYTHING was back to where it was. My age, happiness, health, and like I said, money. I don’t know if this is a glitch with the game or Apple, but this is getting on my last nerve. I know these game developers won’t probably see this, or see it in time, but it’s getting super freaking annoying and I recommend fixing it to save a couple thousands of players.

This game is cool…. But…

NAH! It’s THAT cool and all but I’m only going to say this, not to seem hypocritical and stuff but I fear the game, lacks, you guessed it, COON UPS! I need to be real honest, the game sort of in a way is based on “coon ups,” (like a form of upgrading but from a more specific perspective) and also I do not feel that I can say what I did without mentioning that! Now, “coon ups!” Are a type of upgrade that is clandestine in nature and involves people from virtually all demographics sort of in large numbers, kind of like, “blending in,” as to be like coon hunters! You find out they be in line for this ideal type of service, food bank Distrubution, or like, free blankets or perhaps an opening of a new store, well this type of idea only when they would receive usually say for instance a free burger, they would get a burger and also a “coon up,” which can be a rather large sum of “secretly expected” cash or other valuable item or surprise gift of much value compared to the donated goods and surplus items which are given away as well alongside the “coon ups,” being the notoriously “clandestine” reasoning for the seemingly random “pop up” tent, drive up or walk up service of some regular looking type. So that would be cool to get those into the game I think!!

Nice Storyline, Massive ad Trap

i love the storyline and the process of progressing throughout the story, but let me tell you, the developers of this game had to be makin BANK with the amount of ads i HAD to watch to get through the story. you MUST like you actually HAVE to watch ads to get through the game, if you don’t, you lose everything and start over again. at some point you’ll be able to bring in a profit of like 1-3k a month if you’re smart, but most of the time you’re living while losing anywhere from 1k-150k a month. which again, forces you to watch ads so you don’t lose what you worked for. how can they expect you to buy an 8 million dollar plane when your salary is like 50-75k? by watching an unbelievable amount of ads. The main goal is to become the head of the world bank, but once you get there, nothing happens. the game just continues i guess. so i’m just supposed to sit there and stare at the screen until my character dies ig. just disappointed the story led to nothingness. however i’m interested in what the stock market will bring to this game. should be interesting but i’m uninstalling. i must’ve given them about 1k in ads alone lol. so disappointed.

Starts off well. But bugs make it unplayable

Starting out on the good: the game is fun, it's easy to progress through and I think it stands out amongst other idle games with different career paths and options, but also opportunities to redeem yourself if you fail. But the big issue I have consistently had since I started was that after you play for a bit, you'll complete a task and then you get the little scrolling circle that indicates that the game is processing or loading, except that it gets stuck "processing" and you are unable to move forward with the game. The only fix is restart your phone, and you lose your progress and/or reward for performing the action or watching the ad. At first I thought it was possibly an issue with my phone's connectivity or Wi-Fi, but I ruled that out. This issue would happen occasionally when I first started playing, but I noticed as I progressed through the levels that it was happening more frequently. eventually it was happening every time I won money at the casino or "lucky game", tried to take the quiz to graduate from schooling, or whenever a character appeared to offer a choice for a career upgrade or change. These issues rendered the game unplayable.

The car wash
