Minor bug fixes, and performance improvements
Idle Burger Empire Tycoon is a delightful addition to the Codigames library. It captures the frantic energy of a kitchen while maintaining the relaxed pace of an idle game. The progression is the real star here; you don't just upgrade a burger; you upgrade the parking lot, the bathroom, the delivery service, and even the staff uniforms.
It’s a game of micro-optimizations. Watching your tiny chefs flip patties and your janitors clean up spills is oddly therapeutic. The graphics are bright and charming, and the UI is clean and easy to navigate. It does have the typical idle game 'walls' where progress slows down, but the frequent unlock of new restaurant locations keeps things feeling fresh for a long time.
Detailed restaurant management
Dozens of upgrades and unlocks
Charming 3D graphics
Multiple restaurant locations worldwide
Don't just focus on the grill. If your customers are waiting too long in line, upgrade the cashiers. If the tables are dirty, hire more janitors. A balanced restaurant is a profitable one.
Spend your profits on the 'Research' tab to unlock premium ingredients. High-quality ingredients allow you to charge more per burger, significantly increasing your revenue per customer.
Completing daily missions and watching optional ads for 'Golden Boosts' can significantly speed up your cash flow.
I actually really enjoy this game, enough that I’ve spent actual real human money on it. The only downside is that I am already done with the few restaurants that are available, and I can’t go back to 100% the ones I got through while doing the bare minimum. I don’t want to restart so I can have more to do because then my money would have really been for nothing, but I unfortunately have nothing else to do. (It would also be cool to have at least 1 other event that isn’t just the aliens, though I understand that might put a lot of pressure on you guys, maybe at least make it happen more frequently so I have a reason to play the game!)
Happy to see that codigames update a fix this fast. I can’t say how this update works but I do notice new issue coming up. After the daily reward, the game directly fading all the buttons out, I tried to click everywhere and no response. The little guys in the screen still moving and the stock on cooking station and storage still works, just i literally can’t touch anything because no respond. ————— ok, the first restaurant is a bit slow, but I can live with it. More annoying part is lack of guidance. I can see there’s a place for research and construction (since we need to buy the stuffs) but I can’t find it anywhere, that’s annoying. And the most unbearable part is after upgrade the restaurant to the next level. In the second restaurant there’s seems like officially finally I can have setup a cheeseburger which I research it long long time ago in my first restaurant, and then the tutorial is start, and it froze in the place that keep telling me to open the cheeseburger in the research! I already research it done! So the complete game is froze. Seriously? If you allow more play room before the tutorial, then your tutorial need to find a way to be flexible! Or you should just have a quick walk though in your first restaurant and all tutorial is done. As a long-term player for codigame, I can’t believe is rookie mistake will happen in such studio. Very disappointed
Absolutely love the game. Perfect balance between interaction and idling with the gameplay itself. Liked it so much I ended up spending the money for no ads. I started the alien event with only 26 hours left on the event and I was making money very quickly. I reached 6.2 billion dollars out of the 10 billion needed for the event with about 8 hours left and was on track for the top prize. I click on one of the ad pop-ups to claim my reward, come back and my cheese cooks are gone. Exit the app restart; etc. tried everything. End up having to delete the app and reinstall it to get my cooks back so I can sell burgers again and I lose all 18 hours worth of progress down to 175 million dollars. Took me forever to find out how to get a chat agent that ends up only being automated FAQ style answers with a personal response within 72 hours. Now I know I’m probably not getting be the reward I was easily on track to get and I don’t even want to play the game anymore. Regret spending my money on it. I would have hated it even more if I had lost that progress without the help of no ads. I don’t know, you decide if you want to play with that risk in mind
The game is fine. Similar to the other games from the company. But one very annoying thing is that if, like me, you see the option for a cheeseburger research upgrade and buy it at your first restaurant, that soft locks you from ever playing the game again when you progress enough to get the second restaurant. I’ve restarted my game several times in hopes of turning off the tutorial so I can progress, which didn’t work. I then decided to just cut my losses and redownload the game, starting from scratch. Annoying, sure, but it’s only an hour or two of work, and if I try I can make that up quickly. That was when I found out that if you have gamecenter, which links up automatically with the app, that your progress will be saved no matter what, and you will never be able to fix it. Overall, it’s a fine game but that bug is absolutely terrible.
I’ve been playing Codigames content for a bbq long time, and it’s only recently that I noticed a trend. They put out a bunch of addictive idle games of different concepts, add just enough content to encourage you to spend money, and then do not add real new content to the game such as new levels. Instead, after pouring through the version history of multiple games, I realize that any updates they do are largely listed as a bug fixes, while promising new content. If you want the best experience out of a Codigames game, don’t buy anything and avoid to adds. Just let it idle and play occasionally. Otherwise you are 100% wasting your time and money. Frankly, the amount of content just won’t be worth whatever time or money you invest, and they’ll have a new game out with 2-3 level and a promise anyway. As for this game? Typical idle game, the graphics are cute. It’s not complicated but the infinite tutorial makes you feel like it is.
I bought the Ad removal which allows me to progress in the game faster. Only problem is that there are no more restaurants to open. It would be nice on the next app update to include at least 3 more new restaurants to open and take into consideration that more restaurants should be made available sooner rather than later! And regarding the events, maybe have mini events AND major events. Mini events could run every 30 hours (or so) and then have 1 major event weekly. I’m The kind of person who can get bored very quickly if there isn’t something new; but the developers have done a great job so far.
So I actually really love idle games and have a bunch from this same company that I have paid for upgrades in. But the new buildings take forever and some have none anymore so I get bored and stop playing. Everytime this one has an alien event and I achieve four or five checklist $ amounts, I never get credited for them after it’s over. I paid for ad free to reduce time on research/build items, and it’s only available 1 out of 20 times, what’s the point if it doesn’t work in the events too? It takes away from me wanting to play them because everything takes so long that the event is over before I can unlock even half of it.
I actually liked the game at first, and wanted to keep playing. So to support the devs I bought the ad-free pass. The same day, I reached the last level. I’ve been waiting for OVER A YEAR for the next restaurant that’s supposedly “coming soon,” and given up all hope. The devs has since launched more games with the same style and revenue methods, so it’s clear this was a cheap cash grab and nothing more. I miss the old App Store when devs gave a crap and didn’t just collect checks for a game that turns out to just be a rip off of an online game course.
