Ice Cream Truck is a charming management-lite game for kids. It successfully combines the fun of 'making' food with the basic logic of fulfilling customer orders. Each customer has a specific request, and seeing their happy reaction when you get the order right is a great feedback loop for children.
The animations are smooth and the colors are vibrant, but what I appreciate most is the pacing. It’s fast enough to be engaging but never feels stressful. It’s an excellent way to introduce young children to the concept of following steps (scooping, topping, serving) while letting them play out a classic childhood fantasy of being the ice cream man.

Tips & Walkthrough
When a customer approaches, look at their thought bubble to see what they want. Select the correct cone, scoop the right flavor, and drag the requested toppings over before tapping 'Done'.
Gameplays
After scooping the ice cream, you move to the topping station. Here you can shake on sprinkles, add a cherry, or drizzle chocolate. Be careful to only add what the customer asked for!

That review is amazing and spot-on! Indeed, it WOULD HELP, if you could see the road, and that’s a PERFECT piece of helpful feedback, for the app developer, even though it’s pretty likely that that reviewer has never driven a car, IRL! That 10-year-old gave EVERY piece of pertinent information necessary for a good review, perfectly frankly, and that’s definitely a testament to both the app’s audience targeting and the app’s target audience! I concur, word-for-word, with everything in that review, and I am 46. Given that that review of this app is the best review I’ve ever seen, for anything, there MUST be something AMAZING about this app, for kids’ confidence, creativity, and understanding. I only gave it 4 stars, although I was going to give it 3, because the reviewer obviously brought her or his own background to bear. However, that reviewer gave it 4 stars, and so who am I, to argue with such an assessment?!

The only part I don’t get is the cotton spins such tiny pieces of cotton candy, you think the machine is not working. Perhaps there could be a “speed” added so you can quickly produce a giant fluffy cotton candy.

Sun May 24 2015 lscott813I just bought this app for $2.99 and it is absolutely a waste! This game is not like working at a store with customers constantly coming, it's basically make ice cream and you don't even sell it! In my opinion, a waste of $3.00!!

Just one little tweak is that I would make it so that once you get money, you could spend it on different colors of frozen yogurt or buy different Popsicles to stash underneath the cash register. Other than that, I think this is a fun little game to play!

Tue Sep 11 2012 Icecreamgirl!!I love love love this app. I'm 12 and I enjoy it. I walk around my house selling icecream to my sister using the clever camera windows while driving. The detail put into this game is great, and it is not complicated or hard to use, despite what others are saying. It is a great, great free app. Good job!
