Time to get racing!
Hot Lap League is the closest thing to Trackmania we have on mobile, and it is glorious. It strips away the fluff of generic street racers and focuses purely on the perfection of the 'line.' The tracks are short, gravity-defying, and filled with boosters, loops, and jumps that require absolute precision to master.
The game features a brilliant ghost system, allowing you to compete against your own best times and those of the global community. The handling model is accessible but has a very high skill ceiling—knowing exactly when to drift and when to grip is the difference between a Gold and a Platinum medal. The visual performance is rock solid at 60fps, which is crucial for a high-speed precision racer. It’s an exhilarating, focused racing game that rewards practice and perseverance.
Over 150 gravity-defying tracks
Skill-based gameplay with no upgrades
Ultra-smooth 60fps racing performance
Global leaderboards and ghost racing
In Hot Lap League, drifting is essential for tight corners but slows you down on exits. Tap the brake lightly to initiate a slide, then straighten out as early as possible to hit the next speed booster with maximum momentum.
Unlock new leagues by earning medals. Don't just settle for Bronze; replaying early tracks to get Gold will sharpen your skills for the much more difficult 'Pro' tracks later on.
Hot Lap League is a premium-style game that focuses on fair competition, typically minimizing intrusive ads during gameplay.
This is the trackmania mobile clone that you didn’t know you needed. Awesome job guys, this is a perfect design model for mobile as well, if you have an extra 5 minutes you can run a few hot laps. If you guys could put in a track editor and multiplayer lobbies it would be as full festered as the original, but as it stands now it’s amazing.
So far I’ve played this game for about 20 minutes, and I can already see a lot of potential. The graphics look fantastic and quality for a mobile game, the physics feel great and are a lot of fun to handle, and the music is perfect for this type of game. Everything so far works very well. However, it feels kind of baron at the moment. I don’t feel that I got enough for what I paid, speaking of which, $5 is quite expensive for a mobile game, as I can find games of equal quality for free such as Asphalt 9. A few things that I feel could be added to a game such as this that would make it more worth it would absolutely be a track builder with an ability to share sed courses online, maybe a story mode with some compelling characters, more vehicles, tilt controls is a must, and maybe the ability to race against opponents on the same course at the same time for victory, maybe even in local multiplayer. Again, so far, I think this game is very enjoyable, and of very high quality, but it definitely needs some more meat on its bones to be worth the $5 asking price. I can see that you guys are a newer developer, and I have faith in you. Good luck.
So, I saw the price tag and thought I might be supporting a premium game here. And in some ways, it’s definitely premium. The control (touch only, I’ll get to that) is good, the tracks are good, the graphics are good, presentation is good. But… in some ways it still feels like a mobile F2P game. I buy games because I expect to be able to play them on the plane. Can’t with this one - it requires online always. And I expect car games to work with a controller - not this one. And the IAP is for cosmetics, true, but still feels like this could have been a F2P game. Disappointed. Update: They added controller support and that makes it feel more like a premium game. Thanks developers!
PROS: The game has really good physics, the tutorial is simple but the game itself is hard in a good way, lots of room for skill and fun, the physics are great, the crashes are big, it looks very good. CONS: I don’t understand the leaderboard. Is there one? Can you just see 1-3? Why not make it like asphalt and use percent brackets? I would much prefer percent brackets. Why am I trying to improve my time if i can’t see other peoples times around me? Are those other times around mine the times of other plates? What are the numbers above them and why are they not in order? It honestly doesn’t make a lot of sense to me but I still like the game.
This game is so fun but it needs a level editor so people can create and upload there levels. It would be a great addition. But everything else about this game is great supper fun would recommend
This is bittersweet because it's such a well-made fun game, but it's online only. I usually play on planes so I cannot play this when I most want to. I don't see why it has to be online always.
I enjoy playing this game a lot ! It’s amazing. What I like to see added is more track time analysis to where I can improve compared to my best run and where I’m going slower it would be of great benefit.
Definitely a fun little time waster, BUT the controls aren’t very responsive. I play a ton of games on my phone so I know that my phones not the issue. I wouldn’t care as much if it were most games, but when precision matters the unresponsiveness really matters.
