I’ve always loved this game, played a couple of years ago and decided to install it again. After seeing the reviews here lately I felt like I had to write my own because of the amount of lies and deception I have read. First, the ads. No, there aren’t too many ads. In fact I get 0-1 ads for about 20 minutes of play time, that is NOTHING compared to almost all free apps on the AppStore. You are given the option to double your coins by watching an ad once you die BUT YOU DONT HAVE TO. This game is very fair when it comes to ads and it saddens me seeing developers being trash talked for being “greedy” when they are being the opposite. The “drifting” aspect of this game. It’s not realistic, but it’s not meant to be. This is a game about difficulty, setting new records and unlocking cars. It’s not about the difficulties of drifting but about dodging obstacles and following a difficult track for as long as you can. If you came here for realism then this isn’t the app for you. Lastly I’d like to talk about performance. I read a few reviews talking about lag or crashes. This game runs perfectly on my IPhone 5 and my newer device as well. No crashing, no lag, no overheating. I really don’t know what device this could lag on. Overall this game is an incredible time waster and I hope this review helped some people. And good job devs, keep it up 👍🏻!

goodGameBadMechanics

This game is very simple an clean. The animations and UI are snappy and easy to navigate. I understand this game isn’t supposed to be 100% realistic, but the way you control the car doesn’t make sense. For example, the more you drag to turn your car, the smaller the turn radius. In other words, no matter how fast you are moving or how sharp you turn, you always get the same “grip”. Making this game all about how fast you can react to the turns and how precise your timing is. It’s hard to explain but it just doesn’t represent actual drifting very well. And for an app purely based around drifting, it’s disappointing there is no more strategy involved besides swiping left and right really fast and trying to avoid walls. The game itself isn’t bad, but it’s a bit stale. Too bad they already released the game with these mechanics, now they can’t change them. It would be like Call of Duty changing to a third third person shooter (but obviously not to the same degree.) Well devolved game, just missing some logic. On another note, ads come up after every 5 or so attempts, (could also be time based, I don’t know) and they aren’t very intrusive to the game compared to other games I’ve experienced. Overall a decent game.

Use to be good. Now not so much

This game use to be my go to. Played it every day for a long time. I haven’t played it in a while but just started playing again and the amount of adds is ridiculous. For about every 5 seconds of drive time you have to sit through a 30 second add. It’s not worth it, yes it has a “remove adds” option but I didn’t download a “free” app to be forced to pay money to play it. Also I’ve noticed that the more you play a track it starts you off faster at the beginning. If you play enough consistently you don’t really notice it but trying to play it again after months of not touching it pretty hard to do now with how fast it starts me off. I confirmed this by downloading it onto my girlfriends phone and playing it for a while on there and it was pretty easy and slow going on her phone but on mine the second the car starts to move it’s flying. Also some of the cars don’t show up when you play with them. They’re fine in the selection menu but when you’re on the track all you see is the rectangular shadow of an invisible car.

I LOVE THIS GAME

Recently I have just been soooo bored and installing games and later on deleting them or not play them ever again but this game tho. Is like the heart of my life Bru I love it there are so many carssss you can winn and I won my dream car and I love it this game is definitely one of the best games to ever exist I love the neo map and others too and it doesn’t give much ads as I expected I’m glad y’all aren’t greedy. You could also put the song Tokyo drift over it and makes it BETTTERRR with obviously the game song off it’s sooo amazing I love the controls love the maps and graphics and ESPECIALLY love the cars :) for anyone reading this if your a really big fan of fast and furious: Tokyo drift like me then I suggest this game for you Also can you like add the knight rider (KITT) I would love it and this game even more :>>>> Thank you for making this game and making me happy :)

Suggestion

Hello i love your game so much but i think we gonna more cars. I think you should put more of the finest jdm car or maybe you should put some malaysian cars like perodua gen 2 or perodua satria neo because im from malaysia and i'll be very happy if make those car. Another one is you should put race mode it gonna very awesome if there a race mode. Anyway im just a kid with some suggestion because i think this game got pontential. One more thing there's a glitch went you go through the coin it didnt not collect it so please fix it. Thank you :)

Made for ad money

There’s a few problems with this game that make me wish I had never downloaded it. • there are ads on the loading screen when you load into the game. If you get one of these ads, the game won’t load and you have to restart it. • ads come often when playing. Every 2-4 tries, you get a 15-30 second ad. Considering that each try lasts usually 1min or less, it’s just annoying. • the game is laggy. There are no graphics settings, and the game sometimes just drops to about 2fps, inevitably killing you. • some good things about the game: gameplay seems well-thought out, I love the cars, and while the game doesn’t run well, the graphics look great, so you can enjoy looking at the same beautiful frame for half a second when playing.

Great Game, WAY Too Expensive

Don't get me wrong, this game is awesome. Although, with the new update, the newer cars have become INSANELY expensive to unlock. It went from like 500 coins to 2400. Who in their right mind can play long enough to collect 2400 coins?! PLEASE lower the cost to something reasonable like 800, or at least raise the coin density. I haven't gotten a new car in a week because I can't afford it. Please consider my opinions, but keep up the good work! UPDATE: I can't get any new cars now. About a month ago, I opened the game and saw that I had a free car. Awesome, right? Not really. Every time I go to select a car or to buy a new one, the white bar to select a car disappears after a fraction of a second. It isn't very fun anymore knowing that I can't progress any further in the game. Pretty disappointed.

The maps are horrible

Like I said the maps are horrible you have at least 2 good maps and the other maps oh my god don’t even waste your time on them you got and ice map that you can’t even drive on try and pass 100 miles without crashing and they give you car after you get 5000 miles but guess what the car doesn’t even work on the ice it took 1 hours just to get 5000 mile and the first map you get is one of the best ones till you pass 600 miles they put a tiny gap you have to go through and make a sharp turn how is that drifting if you can’t even pass it + the ads are so dum do your even care about your players SMG no you don’t that’s why you turn off the coins when you have no wi-fi
