Honor of Kings is the undisputed gold standard for mobile MOBAs. Having finally launched globally, it brings a level of balance and technical polish that few competitors can match. The character designs are culturally rich and visually distinct, each with a moveset that feels impactful. The game engine is incredibly well-optimized, maintaining 60 FPS even on mid-range devices during chaotic 5v5 team fights.
The matchmaking is fast, and the strategic depth is immense—from jungle rotations to objective control. What I find most refreshing is the fair play system; the game really emphasizes skill over spending. Whether you are a casual player or an aspiring pro, the tactile feel of the controls and the weight of the abilities make every victory feel earned. It is, quite simply, the most refined competitive experience on the App Store today.
Fair and balanced 5v5 competitive play
Stunning high-fidelity graphics and effects
Over 100 unique heroes to master
Optimized for smooth mobile performance
Focus on 'Last Hitting' minions to maximize your gold income. If you are a Jungler, clear your camps in a path that ends near the Abyssal Dragon to secure the first team buff for your squad.
Tanks should lead the charge, while Mages and Marksmen stay back. Use the 'Quick Signal' wheel to coordinate ganks and warn teammates of missing enemies.
Not at all! Average matches last between 12 to 18 minutes, making it perfect for a quick competitive fix.
So when I began the game it was great. Mostly placed in matches against bots in order to get a hang of the ropes. However after silver that’s when things took a strange turn. I was consistently getting matched in teams full of bots. I know they were bots because they would walk around in circles. There’s no way I could solo, as jungle and farming are very crucial to the game. I know I’m not a bad player, in league of legends wild rift I have reached emerald and I didn’t start losing in wild rift till I hit gold and that was uncommon. Losing at silver on a game that is arguable less tedious than WR is absurd. I really enjoyed the game with its characters and I love the Chinese lore, however this matchmaking system has left a sour taste. I don’t even want to touch the game anymore, it was so humiliating to run around trying to micromanage my whole team’s lanes while the opposite team rammed through them like butter. Let me say this, there should be NO SCENARIO in a MOBA game that real people should be teamed up with bots. It doesn’t matter if the person has to wait, there should be NO SCENARIO in which that should be the case. Allow people to get teamed up with real humans. There’s nothing that makes someone lose motivation faster for a game than unfair matchmaking.
Great Graphics Great Character Design. But Awful Server Ping. Awful Targeting System. Horrible Hero Balance. Ranking Grade Makes No Sense. Towers Worthless even when there’s only two. They should take half health first shot then do more damage it’s a towers for a reason. I went 9-3-3 got A my teammate goes 7-6-11 and you’re telling me that’s S Rank.?Money Grab instead of giving you a certain amount of currency that’s needed for exclusive skins, they leave it up to chance where you can only get a good amount of the currency needed or get a low amount of currency needed. Shouldn’t have to spend 40 bucks to get an exclusive skins because I get a lower amount because of “luck”. Another problem is this game is stun central. Seems like majority of characters have a stuns which makes the game dull. Or you get frozen into place. Which I get it there should be an ability like that but for 3-4 seconds is way to long. And all the stuns and frozen skills should have the same amount of 2 seconds or less. Peaceful Fist needs to be NERFED he literally was getting attacked by two of us and of course I’m using musashi again worthless musashi and he has less then half a bar of health and I have full even use my ult but his shield saves him? Like are you people even trying to balance your game?? WOULD LOVE TO GIVE 5 STARS BUT I CANT CAUSE THERE ARE TO MANY PROBLEMS.
I downloaded this after ML got banned. I typically play at a MG~MH level, 65% WR~, just got the rank for the first time in S35 after a several year hiatus since like S16 lol. I played PC league for several years, but quit because that game is awful and so is the player base. I’m ngl, after downloading this game, I was skeptical. I just wanted a fun moba to play on mobile. The game does lack players, as up to diamond it’s almost all bots, but they’re relatively challenging. The game is much more complex than ML, maybe 2x harder, but still significantly easier than say LOL or WR. I think the best part is their prices, the skin costs and battle passes are super cheap. The battle pass is basically free, giving you a rebate for more than you bought it for. I know, I didn’t believe it. They also give you a ton of free characters and skins, all permanent for new players, or returning players. On top of that, you can do a trial for EVERY SINGLE skin for your first week or so I think, and 3 times daily in practice tool after that, so you can try all skins for free, unlike ML where they give you trials and they’re super mediocre and limited. ML is just not generous with its rewards. Of course I assume it’s because the player base is small and they’re trying to entice players, and that may change later unfortunately years down the line if the player count goes up, but as of right now I’m really liking this game. I only encourage you to NOT play this game if you like the simplicity of ML, and maybe the lower graphics since this game does run a bit hot. ML is simpler, so for casual people I think it’s totally fine to keep playing it. I’m currently Master 5, just started since ML got banned so it’s been maybe under a month? Anyways, give it a shot!
MLBB was my first mobile moba, and I’ve also been playing Wild Rift since launch…Honor of Kings is by far the best MOBA. HoK has the best graphics of the three, the gameplay is super balanced; fast quick matches, but still retaining deep mechanics. The monetization is the BEST in ANY MOBA whether it’s mobile or P.C. - tons of free skins, and the ones you pay for are like $1 - $10 (I haven’t even seen a $10 skin though I’m sure they are there). Compare this to wild rift, the cheapest skins are like $6, and the “cool” ones are $20. Honor of Kings respects our time and wallets, to a degree that the other MOBA’s do not. Social integration feels more rewarding than MLBB, like there is a purpose to adding random people and there are mechanics within HoK that help you consistently create or join pre-made parties. One things that I also love is the skins are very high quality compared to the competitors. You get an Epic skin in HoK and you FEEL how epic it is lol, the splash art, design, etc…HoK just has more bad**s skins so that’s awesome lol. I’ve played every MOBA under the sun. Honor of Kings is the best one period.
With the mix of only about 3 minions spawning per lane every like minute and the fact that an enemy tower can kill most heroes within 3 to 4 hits I don’t see why if you actually play the game you should have to spend half of it spectating while your waiting 40 seconds to respawn it wastes so much player time and it’s really annoying that a tower will take priority on you auto lock and kill you just because an opponent is standing near it that just doesn’t seem fair and it slows the game down substantially when people can sit next to there overpowered tower that can kill you in seconds where you then will have to wait 30 to 40 seconds depending how long the game has been going I think it’s just a stupid way to go about this game mode wait times to respawn shouldn’t change at all during game and towers while they shouldn’t be pushovers shouldn’t be the only reason I’m dying because I can’t even reach my opponents it just seems like I’m spending more time spectating than actually playing I really hope something is done because I really do enjoy this game but I just wish it was a little more fast paced just at least change tower damage and wait times for respawns at least
The game fails to teach even the most basics to your teammates. If you go mid your team will completely ruin mid lane by taking LHs, just hitting the enemy creeps in general ruining equilibrium, and drawing in enemy attention to mid where it becomes impossible to farm any value out of the lane. They play heroes that require no farm to be effective end game, while mid heroes actually need farm to be effective. I still go 20-0, 1v5 the team and win every single match because the enemy team has no clue what they're doing either. Must not be fun for them either, to get completely stomped by someone who has played other MOBAs. Anyways Id rather be playing an actual game where everyone knows the basics of MOBAs, but it's mobile so the tutorial has to be shallow and not describe any actual useful mechanic. League has this same problem which is just perplexing, and I also dont enjoy that this is basically just a League clone. Dota actually teaches the mechanics of the game, despite the game being way more complex (creep pulls, creep aggro, creep stacks, courier and micro, stun stacks, initiations and team fights, warding and dewarding, smokes, teleports, items with activated abilities, etc). If dota can, why cant this game teach even the most bare minimum? I have a suspicion a lot of these "players" who actively ruin the other player's experience and chance to win are actually bots. Which is just absolutely perplexing if that's the case. Why do you have bots that teach players how to ruin the game for everyone else? Do the devs not know how to play their own game?
I think it’s good for the story of the characters and the quality may lack I bit but at all facts I like the game because if you were a player of Arena Of Valor they have some of the characters here too I love this game a lot and I consider it better than mlbb it just need some time and by the time it has it get better just like mlbb did too this is just the launch of it so keep it in mind that if this game is successful they might try to put more work into it (talking about graphics and quality) so if you’re into this game as much as me and my family members I’ll tell you what I told them in the time being has poor quality and low graphics but in time and if they see that it’s worth it they’ll probably give it more quality and graphics but of course this means it take more space so also keep all of the mentioning that I just made in mind for the future Thank you for hearing me out. -a loving and thoughtful comment 💖
This game is absolutely rigged. As a black American female gamer I’m constantly being harassed. Nothing is being done about it. I have people who purposely not give me back up and lead me to fight multiple people without any help I’m constantly being reported for lane stealing, even when my teammates are dying multiple times and feeding the enemies and not helping. I’ve spent a lot of money already on this game. I ended up losing 2,000 on this wish that I didn’t even want because the button was right next to my thumb and I accidentally clicked on it. Overall, this game has just given me a horrible and I will not be wasting any time on it. They purposely matched me up with terrible players. They don’t know how to play, and they purposely match me up with malicious and racist people. I think that because this game is made in China that they have American players being skewed to match up with terrible players to protect their own citizen stats instead of being a balanced fair game. That’s why I’m always being messed up with bot against organized teams, or having malicious behavior on my side of the team un report.
