Hexa Master 3D: Color Sort is the digital equivalent of a stress ball. In a sea of 'Color Sort' clones, this one stands out due to its tactile 3D presentation and the satisfying way the hexagonal tiles stack and merge. There is something deeply hypnotic about watching a stack of 10 purple tiles fly across the screen to join their neighbors. It hits that 'organization' itch perfectly.
The difficulty curve is masterfully handled. The early levels teach you the basics of spacing, but later stages introduce blocked tiles and multi-colored stacks that require you to think several moves ahead. It’s not just about sorting; it’s about managing the limited space on your board. The minimalist aesthetic and gentle sound effects make it a perfect 'wind-down' game for the end of the day. If you like puzzles that are challenging but not frustrating, this is a top-tier choice.
Satisfying 3D stacking animations
Hundreds of progressive levels
Relaxing ASMR sound design
Strategic 'space management' gameplay
Try to keep the center of the board clear. By building your stacks on the outer edges first, you leave room to place 'bridge' tiles that can trigger multiple stacks to merge at once for a massive score bonus.
Beyond the standard levels, try the Endless Mode where tiles are constantly added. Your goal is to keep the board from overflowing for as long as possible.
Yes, you can use the 'Hammer' to remove a single stack or the 'Swap' to trade two stacks on the board.
I agree with the previous guy. The ad while playing in the middle of a game makes me close the app after about three times. They happen on the other hex game also. What is worse is the ad showed an old man saying no ads. Then there was an ad showing sorting of towers. Where are my towers. I am already on level 6 and it is still the same boring pattern. I wanted towers not what i already have in the other hex game. At least it has some strategy to it. I so not mind the ads too much if they are short and sweet and i can get out quick. It is those that make me watch for a full minute between each game.
I was super excited to download this game because the ad i watched on it said, “no ads”. I was currently playing a Hex game and love the game, hate the ads, so when I saw this game ad and it stated, “no ads” I immediately downloaded it and deleted the one that I was playing only to find out 5 or so levels into it, that there ARE ADS! And not just the voluntary ads for things that are needed for the game, but ads after each level and ADS DURING THE LEVEL, which interrupt the game play. This is why I was so willing to delete the other hex app and download this one, because to level interruptions. Well, I will be deleting this one as well. DON’T LIE ON YOUR ADS FOR YOUR GAMING APPS. LYING CREATS DISTRUST. And I really do like the game. Just not the ads interruptions and the lies about it. And do not tell me to purchase the ad removal option. I would it if would permanently remove them but I’m not interested in paying to remove ads for 30 days of play. NOT WORTH IT! Thanks and good day to you.
Is the coloring book part. The hexa sort puzzle was fun at first but it seemed to have changed to become near impossible to play and win based on merit or maybe even skill. Even if you are skilled at this game from playing many versions of this game, this game in particular starts to give rounds with small stacks that has multiple colors and once you lay it down you start to lose your open space little by little as it spreads out. You get to the end where you run out of room and no matter how many times you watch a video, it wouldn’t help since you start getting multiple color stacks all beginning with the same color as stacks to put on the grid so you have nowhere to go and have to watch a video constantly just to try to stay in the game or else lose all your progress for an game event. This game also has the most Home Screen and game round ads compared to other Hexa sort games out there.
We all expect ads in games. You have to make money. We expect ads to unblock features, get rewards. We expect ads at the end of a level. What is unforgivable is ad breaks that happen while you are actively playing in the middle of a level. Do not look away from this game while playing a level. You’ll get an ad in the middle of play. But you’ll also receive an ad break while playing a level.. And that’s sad. Because this hex game has the best music and asmr sound effects and smooth responsive graphics of any of the hexa games. I WANT this hexa game. But this ridiculous feeding of ads while actively playing a level is a big nope right out of there. They made the most relaxing hexa game available… then made it worse than any other hex game with an incomprehensible level of ad intrusion
I was liking this game because in the beginning I could always win wherever i put the hexagons, it was not about winning but it was a calm game for me because with all the thoughts in my mind I was playing the game it felt relaxing. I understand a game should have hard levels, but when I have to finish most of my levels watching ads, they just make sure we have to watch annoying ads.. I mean there should be hard level but why do you give those by which we would anyways lose and to continue have to watch ads, and if we don't we just do not win the game no matter how many times I repeat the level, once I played a level more than 20 times and eventually won the level only by watching ads... This is beyond annoying... Make this game fun and relaxing not a stress.
I purchased the add free option for $9.99. I really enjoy playing his game. However, the puzzles became more difficult as you have to watch ads to gain spaces within a game, usually two spaces. These ads are very long, one was almost two minutes, so I end up watching 3 to 4 minutes of ads to get through a single game. I spend more time watching ads than playing the game. I’m sorry I purchased this option. I’m sick of seeing the same ads over and over again. I don’t know if I will continue to play. I would rate the game at 5 stars, I would rate the ad free option zero!
I lowered my original from three stars to one. I paid ten bucks to go “ad free” and I’m still being forced to watch ads. Also, there is no way to contact the developer. It’s a fun game as long as you have the money to purchase boosters. Otherwise. You could be there all day trying to beat a level. I really don’t think I’m that dumb. At least I hope not. When I reached level 70 I couldn’t get past it no matter how I attempted to arranged the colors. I don’t know if it’s the algorithms or if the game is rigged to force a purchase. Unfortunately, I purchased the game and I can’t play unless I pay more money for boosters. If I were to recommend the game, I’d say, sure if your disposable income allows it, otherwise, don’t bother.
Not a fair puzzle — failure is monetized. This game looks like a logic puzzle, but some boards are unsolvable by design, regardless of skill. You’re forced to keep placing tiles even when the outcome is already guaranteed to be a loss — unless you buy perks, watch ads, or add extra slots. Merges are unpredictable, tile batches are biased, and every launch pushes multiple paywalls (from a few dollars up to very expensive bundles) before you can even play - easy to click buy even by mistake. Ads are annoying, but the bigger issue is preset failure used to drive purchases. Beware. Two stars for tricky design, smooth merging and for reminder that some failures are preset by design.
