Hexa Crush is an elegant and minimalist puzzle game that focuses on the inherent satisfaction of geometry. The hexagonal grid adds just enough complexity to the standard 'match-3' formula to make it feel fresh. It’s all about board management—thinking several steps ahead to ensure you don't box yourself in. The 'Crush' mechanic, which triggers when you fill a large hexagonal ring, is visually and audibly fantastic.
It’s a great 'coffee break' game. There’s no high-stakes timer, just a clean board and a set of pieces to place. The progression feels fair, and while it does get quite difficult in the later levels, it never feels impossible. It’s the kind of game that rewards patience and spatial awareness over quick reflexes.

Keep the center of the hexagon grid as clear as possible. Building from the edges inward usually results in getting stuck with large pieces that won't fit the remaining gaps.
Gameplays
Try to set up 'Triple Clears' by filling lines in all three hexagonal axes simultaneously. This grants a massive score multiplier and a board-clearing blast.

Mon Nov 17 2025 BbolerWhile I love playing this game, I absolutely hate that you keep advertising other games. I don’t get hardly any time to play this game before the ads pop up. It wouldn’t be so bad if there was a way to get out of the ad if you aren’t interested in that game, but there isn’t. I am thinking about just deleting this and going on to one that actually lets you play the game.

Thu Oct 16 2025 GenuregThis is the best hexa game I’ve played and collects the least data. I paid for it to avoid most ads. This game has some boards that feel nearly impossible without watching some ads to open spaces. I normally don’t mind watching ads for perks, but these ads are two minutes long each, which is making me hate the game. The ads are for the same things every other game I play, but are at least four times as long. It is a huge waste of time and makes me less interested in what’s being advertised, not more. This would be a five-star game if the ads weren’t so long.
Works great until a new advertised comes onboard
Fri Oct 17 2025 EnamelheadI have been playing pretty consistently for the past month, enjoying the challenge. Lately new advertisers are onboard, and trying to watch ads in order the get Hammer, Switch and such the reward is NEVER GIVEN. Sit with Clearspeed ad on the screen and after 5, 10, THIRTY MINUTES of that ad I find something else to do. I really enjoy this app, learning how to beat it. On Layer 220 give or take - can easily ignore all my chores for the day playing the game. No more. I’m taking a week off, hopefully others will share their frustration and the game go back to clicking on Swap, watching ads for a few minutes then playing again. Otherwise no more hexa apps.

Sun Feb 01 2026 Zippygirl711I’ve been playing for a while now and I have enjoyed the game, that is until this morning. Since the beginning, I’ve purchased the Hexa Pass and at the end I’ve always collected all coins I have earned from the bonus bank when time has run out until this morning. I opened the app this morning knowing the time has run out on the pass and I’m going to collect the 3400 coins I earned. You can imagine my surprise when I’m only given 500 of the 3400 I earned. I don’t know if it’s a glitch or intentional, but I would like my coins returned and an explanation. Fix this and I will change my rating.

Sat Oct 25 2025 Asa from TxI’ve enjoyed this game enough to have spent some money on it (something I rarely do). However, it has suddenly started seriously lagging on my iPad. I’ve done all the cache clearing and closing background apps and such, but nothing has worked. It’s so bad that I’m considering deleting the app and starting over.
Ugh, tons of ads!!
Wed Jan 28 2026 LovingSingleI got the game because it said “NO ADS.” It was great until I got to about level 20, and then the ads started in between levels. Now there’s 3 ads in between levels (started about level 80, I think). After level 200, there are 3 ads (ad break) while playing the level. Time to delete the game. And it runs my battery down fairly quickly.

Sat Jan 31 2026 subbygirl123I love this game. Just hard to stop playing when you have to get stuff done. Make sure you get your chores done first or you’ll not get them done if you start playing this first.
