Hexa Blast 3D is a polished and surprisingly tactile entry in the merge-puzzle genre. While we've seen many '2048' variants, the move to a 3D hexagonal space adds a genuine layer of tactical depth. You aren't just matching numbers; you're managing a rotating stack of tiles where gravity and placement can either be your best friend or your worst enemy. The 'Blast' effects when you hit a high-tier merge are incredibly satisfying, complete with haptic feedback that makes the pieces feel weighty.
The game excels in its pacing. It starts out as a relaxing, 'zen' experience, but as the board fills up, it transforms into a high-stakes logic puzzle where one wrong move can block your entire strategy. The 3D graphics are crisp and colorful, avoiding the cluttered UI often found in free-to-play puzzles. It’s a very competent, professional-grade time-killer that rewards forward thinking and spatial awareness.
Tactile 3D physics engine
Satisfying haptic-enhanced blasts
Daily logic challenges
Minimalist, high-contrast design
Don't just merge the first three tiles you see. Try to stack two tiles of the same color on opposite sides of a 'target' zone. When you drop the third tile in the center, the blast will trigger an adjacent merge, starting a domino effect that can clear 20% of the board in one move.
If you're stuck, use the 'Board Tilt' power-up. This uses the 3D physics to shift the tiles slightly, often sliding a blocked piece into a merge position that wasn't visible from the standard top-down view.
The tiles start at 2 and can be merged infinitely, though the 'Blast' effect triggers a level clear once you reach the 2048 tile in standard mode.
I like it, it’s a nice game. It does have ads but they don’t interrupt game play as they only pop up during level up. Must be connected to internet to use, which is annoying because my iPad doesn’t have cellular so I can only play game at my house.
Played this game once before had to reset my phone and re-download it from scratch. The first time I played it was great, but the second time I played it it seems more ads are present. Every time I open it an ad pops up before I can even start playing the first round. I get that y’all need to make money off of this and advertisements help but, let me get in a few rounds before you start inundating me a plethora of idiocy.
This game has memories of my dad and me playing this.I can’t believe this game is taking me down memory lane!🥰
This isn’t a game with a few ads sprinkled out here and there, this is a bunch of ads with a game that pops up once in a while. In between every single level is already too much, but multiple ads between rounds of at least a minute each, ridiculous.
Even though there’s a sound thing in the shape of a speaker (to turn off the sound!) in the upper left hand corner of the app, the annoying blooping sound still sounds every time you move a hex!
I would give you more stars if not for the ads, so many to go through just to start and ads, through out game , wow
At level 25 the games freezes up. Upon restart, it’ll play again for a few levels then freezes up again. Play another Hexa game! There are a bunch out there!
Fun game but seriously too many ads One after you finish round then another to start round. It’d be fine with just one between each round but 2 is just too much. Deleting game now.
