I LOVE THIS GAME!!

I started crying when I had to get off of this game and get ready for work. genuine tears! Me and my bf love everything about this game, the actual volleyball gameplay, the storyline, leveling up our teams. There’s so many great things about it but my absolute favorite part is unlocking the characters! I love that it’s a roulette type deal rather than paying a specific amount for a specific character, it makes it to where me and bf can be competitive with each other and we start screaming when one of us gets the character the other one wanted lol! Im on chapter 3 of the training camp right now so we’re just getting started but I already have an almost a full Karasuno lineup of SRs and I love that the more people you have from the same team the better they work together I think that is so cool and lore accurate! I was really sad when I saw all of the top reviews being about how the servers were down for the first day so I wanted to talk about how much we love this game!! Developers you are amazing! Thank you for this incredible game!

Money grab/ boring/ terrible gameplay

This game is 100% of money grab. There is going to be a point where your ftp can’t keep going forward because the AI opponents are way too strong. I am talking you have let’s say all SSr team and UR team and the AI is going to perfectly stop every single one of your spikes and blocks and dumps and you can’t do anything to stop them. this game is completely boring. The same gameplay repeated over and over and over and you don’t even get a play a real volleyball match you just get to sit there and watch. This summoning is ridiculous. You’re gonna have to get at least 200 summons in to get a decent character and everything that you want or is cool is unlocked behind a pay wall. I am telling you save your money. This is one of those games that is gonna steal your money in two months and be off the App Store.. and then we’re not even talking about playing against other players 99% the time you will have the better team but yet this game will make sure any opponent you face will tie it up and then will do the most stupidest thing like not even serve the ball in just to make you lose. And anyone that is even remotely saying this is a good game is either a developer or some loser who threw in a couple hundred or thousands of dollars to be good in this game

Beautiful game, but I wish I could control the characters.

HAIKU!! FLY HIGH is a really fun and visually creative game — the art, music, and atmosphere pulled me in right away. But I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of how the gameplay works. I was really hoping to move and control the characters directly, like in an action or platformer game. Instead, it feels more like I’m managing actions through cards or commands rather than being the character. It’s not that the current system is bad — it just caught me off guard. I was expecting a more interactive experience where I could fly, jump, and explore the world hands-on. Right now, it feels more like a strategy or card game than what the trailers or visuals led me to believe. Still, it’s a solid and unique game. I just hope future updates add a more direct control option or something closer to real-time gameplay. That would make it a 5-star experience for me.

Surprisingly free to play friendly you can save up gems for a short time and get a strong character UR or SP even it’s also very PVE friendly in PvP you dont necessarily have to be a whale you could just be a smart dolphin or a patience koi fish either way every character has a cap so you can’t go on and on forever it’s all about strategy and team synergy if you ask me, just like real life if your a power spiker you need space to run up and spike with more momentum so you probably wanna start in the back row receiving the game rewards you for placing characters strategically by capably very good AI system they also seem to notice community feed back which is good don’t really got no complains besides maybe expanding on the chat in the game most people had to resolve to discord for clan/club stuff

Horrible

Genuinely hate this game. Only play this game because I love the anime. Why is it so hard to pull good characters from the banners? I don’t feel like I should have to do 200 pulls just to get a good character or a character I want. Also why does my setter make “BAD” sets? I don’t understand the setting mechanic in this games. Also why my receiving go “BAD” when I have a character with a high receiving stat and he uses 20 stamina to use this skill to not receive the at all that doesn’t make any sense to me. I understand this game is brand new but don’t make a game where it’s easy to level up at the very beginning, but get extremely hard to even complete one match in any game mode after a while once you hit a certain level. This game is legit Pay to win and that doesn’t make the game fun at all. This game is only fun for a short while. Thinking about deleting because honestly I thought phone games were suppose to be fun, but I’m just stressing over certain mechanics that doesn’t make sense to me. There’s no explanation or details about it either

Server CONSTANTLY under maintenance

Just want to preface this review by saying I’ve been waiting on this game for months and was really excited for it after seeing gameplay from foreign servers (forgot where exactly). So when I got the drop alert around 3:30 my time I downloaded it immediately in an effort to play the game. However, the server was down for maintenance, understandable for a new game, yet annoying. I went to bed hoping it was better, but tell me why it’s still under maintenance when the app dropped 21 hours ago? Well my guess you rushed the release when it wasn’t ready, because I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times, even used different accounts when it asks you to sign in after downloading, heck I’ve even tried using your app’s repair function and NOTHING WORKS! I wouldn’t have minded waiting longer for an app that didn’t have these issues, it’s terrible that all the game developer did was use Haikyu!! as a money grab without putting out a playable game. Hope it changes soon, but I doubt it.

Please help!!

I’ve tried going directly to the developer website for my problem but when I go to submit my request, there’s a required asterisk to enter my account ID and no way of entering it because it doesn’t let me. That’s not even my problem yet. Here it is: I have a glitch where I may have accidentally pressed or the map feature or the auto battle during the match settings, now all of my games are in 2x speed, maybe even faster. Player models are running into each other at high velocity and colliding, facing the wrong way when spiking and receiving. I barely have time to think between serves, sets, spikes and blocks because everything is going so fast. I enjoy the game but this has made it unplayable. Please fix.

Potential Loss and Potential Win

Well, I’m worried that we have another cash-grab on our hands. I already typed out all my thoughts in the surveys, so I’ll keep them brief here. 1. Overall, the polish on the game is lacking when it comes to voice lines and dialog. The sentences are unnatural, Kiyoko is drowned out by character voices in the tutorial, and at least in the English dub, she also sounds AI, but I cannot verify that. 2. As usual, there are a ton of in-app purchases right from the start. It’s a gatcha game, so you know what to expect, but they’re sell a character wallpaper for $10. That seems over-the-top. 3. The character ultimates are ripped from the anime. I like the actual design of the game visually, and I was disappointed when they cut costs by just using anime clips. I know it costs money to make unique, stylized ultimates, but it’s just another example of no passion in that area of the game. On the bright side, I’m actually okay with the visual direct and characters in the game. I might be in the minority, but it looks appealing. I also would love to see where they take the gameplay. It’s pretty basic right now, but there’s room for a ton of improvement. If it weren’t for the IP, I probably would’ve uninstalled it already, but I’m willing to give it a chance if they actually listen to feedback.
