Grill Sort: Food Sorting Game is the perfect digital snack. It takes the familiar 'match-3' or 'sort' mechanic and gives it a literal sizzle with its BBQ theme. The core loop of tapping and aligning skewers is surprisingly meditative, and the sound of a successful match is a crisp, satisfying 'pop' that really hits the spot. It’s one of those games that's easy to play with one hand, making it a great companion for a commute.

The difficulty curve is well-managed. It starts out as a breeze but quickly requires strategic thinking as your plate space becomes more limited. I particularly enjoyed the variety of ingredients—switching from meats to veggies and seafood keeps the visuals fresh. Great Game but EXTREMELY AD greedy!

The game itself is pretty good, BUT it seems that they intentionally make it too hard to get through MOST of the levels after the first few, without watching SEVERAL LONG ads to add time to your game to get you through the level. I’m pretty good at these kinds of games, but I can’t get through any levels after the first several, without watching at least 3 -4 long ads to add time to my game to get through it. It’s just super greedy, and I feel it’s completely designed to be uber hard so that you have to watch multiple ads per game. Even though it was fun, well made, with great graphics, and addictive, I just deleted the game because I’m sick of watching the same long ads for games I have no interest in multiple times a game. You spend more time watching ads than playing the game. They could get an amazing amount of revenue by making the levels a little easier and making you watch half as many ads and actually enjoy the game a bit. Greed for ads, not the integrity of making a good game, is sadly what drives developers to make many of these phone games, I think.

i don’t know what got worked out somehow… but i am at level 1040 something. i’m glad i came back to it. i love this game because it’s a perfect dopamine hit but still relaxing. when i am stressed out i play and it allows me time to recenter and recover. i probably play way too much, but it works for me! still wish there were less ads having paid for the no ads version. if you pass too many levels and didn’t need “ad help” you Will arrive at a level that will be impossible to pass without them. otherwise 5 starts ! the sounds, graphics, pace and variety are all on point. it would be nicer if rewards granted a bit more. but otherwise having surpassed the major ad issue(below)- all is good! old review: It’s absolute garbage that at level 325 after paying for the game ito eliminate ads it is impossible to pass level 325. Trays cover food and are requiring matches of food that are not available. Tried multiple times. And the last time I tried I literally watched 50. Between extending the time and using the help tools and still was unable to complete the level absolute garbage. Used to be one of my favorite games now makes me want to throw my phone against the wall. I watched straight ads for over an hour and a half trying to beat. And it would not move forward screw this game.

Addictive but as a mom, I hate the timing bc duties and distractions get in the way. If I didn’t like the game, I would’ve put it down long ago. It will send me orders of items I’ve already completed that will cause me to lose the game. I will complete the match and it will give it an X saying I didn’t get it right. The boards with the hot plates are always glitchy and tell you that you didn’t complete the match on the right tray. It’s hard to even know which items should be on the hot tray. I think it’s all a plot for us to have to watch so many ads. I like to challenge myself to not get a 2nd chance for more time but I have to with this game bc of all the glitches.

Awesome game for a while - ads after each level, but brief and no more than that. Great match 3 type game! Ended up deleting because there isn’t a “classic” or “pick your difficulty” type of mode and after a certain period, there’s always a new “trick” to make it harder - like having items disappear after a certain number of matches. It’s perfect if you want that, but for me, I use these as a way to burn time or mindlessly occupy my time and after a certain point, I have to really think about the levels because of the “tricks” and there’s no way to avoid that, which is the opposite of why I personally play these games. Tl;dr: Great match 3 game, minimal ads, gets harder as you go on, just didn’t fit my preference for more mindless levels that don’t require as much thinking

Great game but…

It’s a great game but even if you pay for no ads you still end up having to watch A TON of ads to play this game. Essentially the hard levels are so hard that either time runs out so you have to watch ads over and over until you finish the level OR you have to watch a bunch of ads for boosters to help get through the level. Commonly, this happens at the same time on hard levels so not only are you having to watch ads for being out of time, you also have to continually watch ads to get boosters to help clear the hard levels. So even paid ad free is absolutely not ad free. Considering this, I probably wouldn’t have paid for it had I known I would be watching tons of ads anyway. Gone are the days of paying for an ad free experience and actually getting an ad free experience.

So Much Potential but After Hours of Play, I Cannot Recommend This Game.

There is so much that I love about this game… * The ability to pay for ad-free play (which I did). * The graphics are fun and it’s easy to visually differentiate the tokens quickly. *Each level offers new challenges making it endlessly fun. * Early levels are calming and quite satisfying to play. However, I cannot recommend this game in its current state and I’m sad that I wasted money on ad-free. If the developer would make some simple changes, this game could be phenomenal, imo. * After a point, it seems nearly impossible win without using aids. * Eventually, you’ll run out of aids as well as game currency to buy more. * Playing doesn’t earn game currency unless you win (and you can’t win without it) so your only option is to spend real currency. I have reached this point and refuse to buy game currency because I know it will only sustain me temporarily before I reach this issue again. I know I can watch a video but the videos are quite long and require participation to complete. To the developer: Please fix this issue. This game is good enough that I would happily spend more money to allow me to bypass this conundrum. Also, I would love this game even more if there was a separate game mode to disable the timer (even if it meant forfeiting rewards or community leaderboards). I find just sorting them properly, without running out of room challenging enough to be entertaining but disabling the timer would also allow it to be a relaxing experience. I would pay extra for this ability.

Un winnable unless you watch tons of ads

They made a level you absolutely could not win without watching ads. Just finished a round where I needed to match 3 of the small hamburgers to unlock the last grill. I can see the tall hamburger underneath the locked grill that I need for the customer. So I watch to revive failing the customer. Had to use shuffle and bags to progress. Never saw a small hamburgers to unlock the grill. So either my RNG is so bad the small hamburgers aren’t shuffled to the top or there are no small hamburgers. I ended up using the bags to clear everything off the level and what do you know, no small hamburger. They made a level you absolutely could not win without watching ads. This is first for me. Usually I uninstall games because they have unskippable adds but un winnable without ads is a first. Game deleted I suggest you find a different game unless you like ads or wasting lots of money. Wish I could post the picture to prove what I’m saying is true.

My lives were missing; Poor customer service

I have an issue with receiving team lives. My teammates send me lives, but I only receive 1 life, even though I should have received more than 5 lives in total. This problem has been happening for a long time. I have been having this problem for a long time. I keep contacting customer service, and they seemed to fix it for a while, but after a few days the same issue comes back again. So I always have to notify customer service again. Last time, after I joined a very competitive team, the problem seemed to disappear. However, I accidentally deleted the app, and when I recently logged back into my account, the problem appeared again. Also all my lives had been wiped out. It has already been two days since I contacted customer service this time, and they still haven’t replied to me. This situation is very exhausting for me.
