Ride along on a garbage truck on garbage day as it drives through a neighborhood in Los Angeles, California. Use the automatic side arm to pick up garbage cans and visit local landmarks like movie sets and donut shops. Once the truck is full, head to the Waste Disposal Facility and use the Masher Dozer Truck to squish the garbage. This interactive app is like a moving storybook designed to encourage curiosity in young children.

Our Expert Score

78/100

Garbage Truck: Los Angeles is a charming interactive 'storybook' for toddlers. My 3-year-old loves the simple interactions, like honking the horn and picking up cans with the side arm. It’s not a deep game, but for a child obsessed with trucks, it’s perfect. The Los Angeles theme with movie sets and donuts is a fun touch.

The 'Masher Dozer' section at the end of the run is the highlight—it gives kids a satisfying way to finish the task. It’s a very calm and engaging app for younger users without any of the stress of typical games.

Good job with the graphics. Another solid app in the dump truck collection.

I bought this app for my grandson who is 2 and a half. He loves the garbage truck. This app would be amazing but there was too much time between picking up the cans. If here is a way to change this option please let me know.
