In Five Nights at Freddy's 2, the old and aging animatronics are joined by a new cast of characters. They are kid-friendly, updated with the latest in facial recognition technology, and promised to put on a safe and entertaining show. However, as the night shift guard, you'll find that the safety protocols aren't quite working. With no doors to protect you, you must use your flashlight to light up the hallway and vents, and don a vacant Freddy Fazbear head to trick the animatronics into leaving you alone.

Five Nights at Freddy's 2 takes everything that made the original a viral sensation and cranks the anxiety up to eleven. Gone are the safety of steel doors; instead, you're left with a flashlight, a hollow Freddy mask, and a music box that demands constant attention. It’s a masterclass in resource management under extreme duress.

The addition of the 'New' animatronics alongside the withered versions of the original cast creates a chaotic atmosphere where you're constantly second-guessing which vent or hallway to check. The mask mechanic is a stroke of genius—it requires split-second timing and rewards players who can keep their cool when a giant mechanical bear is staring them in the face. While the difficulty spike can feel a bit unforgiving in the later nights, the lore breadcrumbs and the sheer tension make it an essential horror experience for mobile gamers.

Amazing job scot. This game is intriguing and unpredictable. I’m currently working on fazbear fever and well they weren’t kidding. Personally I thought it be exactly like night six, but boy was I wrong. Its night six on steroids. Here’s some tips for the more problematic animatronics .T chica: approach’s from left vent if you see her in the office put on the mask for at least 3-5 seconds or until you hear reciding footsteps. Bonnie: when you see him in your office put the mask on immediately if you see him as you put down the camera. Or else he will strangle you. Bb: this little son of a nightmare is annoying. He follows the same pattern as T chica so follow the step for him until you here departing footsteps or if you hear his obnoxious laugh. Foxy: he will appear in the hallway when you see him flash twice and check your vents, if someone’s there flash foxy thrice deal with whoever’s there then flash him twice after putting the mask down then wind the music box then repeat the steps until he leaves. The puppet: this ones simple but really annoying. Wind that music box as much as you can without getting killed. If you’re getting red warning signs on your screen head to the music box hold the light down and wind it up. I find this very effective against him and use this strategy when someone’s really screwing me over. These are tips I can offer. Hope you survive these five/six long nights!

I have been a huge FNAF fan sense November 2020 and learned literally EVERYTHING about the story and characters. I love the game and the creepy vibes you get when Toy Chica is starting at you in the main hall. BUT, I think you made it A little too adorable when Mangle is in the main hall. Not saying that’s a bad thing. Also I really like that strange noise that plays at random times. It really makes me cautious and be like “Oh no is someone in my Hallway?!”. Also I think it’s really cool how you have to be very cautious when winding up the music box for the puppet if someone is in your hallway because you have to just trust that nobody is there. Although it’s kind of like you’re like “Oh I can just want to Wind it up little bit more” but then you get jump scared! I love all the unsolved mysteries like shadow Bonnie, the paper pals, shadow Freddy, and JJ. There is only one problem with the game though. BALLOON BOY IS WAY TO ANNOYING!!! Oh wait? You can’t fix that? Oh OK. I guess I can deal with it with a couple more hundred years. Recently I’ve been trying to see if I could find balloon boys pathway to your vents. I think it’s strange how you can’t see him very well on his way to you. Same with foxy who I still can’t stand I love him so much! Also why does Chica lose her beak when she goes off of the stage? Please do (not) fix this! Great game and please continue to make more awesome games.

Great game. Here’s a good strategy for golden freddy mode: First open cams and head to the music box, stay there for the entire night. Disregard any of the other cams. Wind it up until you hear that music that indicates someone is in your hallway. While you wind the music box, have your right thumb hover just below the music box icon. Wind the box with your left thumb. Once you hear the music, tap the screen under the music box to exit the camera, and put on your mask and then take it off again. This is incase someone is in your office, and if there is you wont be able to lift your mask until they leave, and do this every time the you wind the box. Flash foxy 3+ times and check the vents, put the mask on if necessary. Then wind the box, and rinse and repeat until someone enters your office. Keep the mask on until a second or so has passed since the animatronic left this will make anything in your vent that is not T. Bonnie didappear, then check ONLY the right vent, and put on your mask if T. Bonnie is in there. Do this every time an animatronic is in your office, and on the rare occasion that nobody enters your office, check both vents and put on the mask if necessary. Keep winding the box and FLASH FOXY BETWEEN EVERY SINGLE STEP. He is the biggest run killer next to the puppet, and will make this mode terrible. Also remember that it is a heavily rng based night, and most attempts will not be winnable. Rinse and repeat all of these steps and you should be on your way to beat the hardest challenge that this game has to offer. Oh, also play all the challenges first to be as good at the game as you can possibly be!

Challenging and really good

I think this game can like make faster reaction time and it’s about a lot of strategy and the game is very good. If you like hard things then this game is for u (I don’t mean it’s too hard but a challenge is good) I’m just gonna tell one thing to Scott that night 6 is incredibly hard because foxy keeps getting me but I understand the game is like meant to be hard so I can accept that. And there’s no bugs, so the game you can play good. If you’re thinking to buy this game, I tell you I’m every day trying to beat the game so it’s really fun and it’s easier on mobile, so I say it’s really good. Oh and if people already playing are wondering “why does withered something (except foxy) jumpscare me after I put the mask” well that’s because you have to IMMEADIATLY put the mask on. It’s not like the toy anamatronics in which you put the mask at whatever time, but if you hesitate to put your mask on with the withereds, they’ll jumpscare you. Bonnie’s reaction is slower, while chicas is less than a second, and Freddy’s is incredibly quick. (Golden Freddy is incredibly quick) so what I do is when I put the moniter down I immeadiately put the mask on, just in case. It’s easier on mobile. So that’s all I have to say about this game, so have fun and enjoy!

Fun and hard but one problem

The games super fun and hard to mostly night 6 it’s super hard like really really hard and if you do it enough you’ll kinda know who is going to come and when foxy always comes first so you just flash him 5 times and then Bonnie and mangle will come I think around 2-3am so just flash if foxys there and I think the mask works so yeah if golden Freddy appears in the hall flash once and only ONCE trust me and then put mask on but if he’s in your office mask so what I do is wind music box then put down mask then use flash light it will help you but he doesn’t appear that much which is the problem he’s unpredictable you never know when he’ll come and that’s what makes it so tense. But my only problem is the mask hopefully Scott sees this because sometimes when I put my camera down and try to use the mask it won’t do anything and that problem got me killed at 5AM on night 6 it was 5AM and I just needed to Survive a little longer and then Bonnie came I tried to use the mask but it wouldn’t do anything by the time it did it was to late I hadn’t put it on quick enough and Bonnie ended my run that was the best I’ve done so if you can fix the mask it would be great. Again tho I love this game it’s so fun and scary it will make you jump 100% of the time hopefully this helps you if you are trying to attempt night 6 and one more thing always make sure no matter what that you keep the music box wound up if it gets to close to letting the puppet out trust me it’ll be impossible to wind up with all the animatronics so keep it aleast over 50%

Amazing, fun and nostalgic, but…

Clickteam, this game is pretty amazing and basically an exact replica of the pc version from Scott originally. Very pleased of what you’ve guys done on this. But. I know you get constant complaints and criticism by young kids about how the nights are hard, foxy, balloon boy, buttons not working, etc. and I can see where they’re coming from as it does seem like that but it’s really overall based on luck and rng. However, 10/20 literally seems unbeatable and somewhat Fazbear Fever mode as well. Toy Bonnie is actually a wild card based on his ai but sometimes he’s in the vent when Mangle or W. Bonnie is in there too. I put on the mask cause I hear Mangle’s audio and Mangle leaves through the vents but once she leaves, Toy Bonnie comes in halfway through her static portion, and wastes more time looking at me like what?! And since he wastes time looking at the player with both mangle and him using the mask usage it results in Foxy or the Puppet’s immediate jumpscare… there’s not even a split of second once I take off the mask to flash… It’s such a strange glitch, which results in him always screwing my night. Truthfully speaking, please fix this, as this logically shouldn’t happen, in terms of gameplay and even the games universe. (Though you could take into thought of Bonnie being above not abiding to the rule of time, space, or physics as a joke.)

Lemme just say im a huge fan of fnaf. Ive already beat fnaf1 with the survival kit. But in fnaf 2 I keep dying to w foxy in unfair way. Usually, the alert sound would go off so i’d check prize counter, music box is fine. Then, i would check the hallway nobody is there. Sure enough, I would see a toy animatronic like BB, toy chica or toy bonnie in the vent. So i would put on the freddy mask and get a jumpscare from withered foxy. Even though he was not in the hallway. I play on ipad, so maybe his AI works different on mobile than computer. Lastly in my opinion, the music box unwinds too quickly so it would be nice if it went down slower. Also this last one does not annoy me but i’m just curious why the puppet doesn’t appear in the camera shot on mobile. If you can fix this foxy glitch, that would be great, Scott. Thanks for reading! Update: I beat night 2. Finally! (Nine months later)Foxy still comes to quickly! I’ve been dying to him every time. It would be great if you can slow down his speed, Scott. In fact I think foxy is pretty much the only reason I haven’t beaten the first five nights Cuz after all my strategy is blindspots, hallway, music box, flip down the mask real quick in case a withered animatronic is in the office, and boom the strategy is foolproof except for foxy. I finally got it!

After ultimately completing Five Night’s at Freddy’s 1 by indie game creator Scott Cawthon, I decided it’d be my special reward to move onto the next game! Whenever I start the game I put the speaker to my ear because I just can’t get enough of that eerie opening music! It’s wonderful! Although the multitasking part is one that I seriously struggle with :0 but I’m getting better! After all it’s only night 4 and I’ve had plenty of practice with FNaF 1 and all the other FNaF 2 nights so I think I can make it through and keep the music box wound up, flash the lights at foxy, and put on my mask when needed. I just need to practice a bit more. Overall, the game has outstanding graphics, not the most realistic that you’d think that your actually there compared to Special Delivery, Augmented Reality (AR), or Help Wanted Virtual Reality (VR), but it certainly gives me a good scare because of the type of headphones that I use on some occasions or when I have my volume turned up all the way and I completely drop my guard 😅 Scott has certainly outdone himself with this game! My favorite FNaF character has to be Ft Freddy (Funtime Freddy) and Bon Bon (his hand puppet). I can’t wait to move on to FNaF 3, 4, 5, and finally SL (sister location/FNaF 6) so I can finally meet and head Ft Freddy! Review Over. Cya!
