Mobile Writing Disadvantages

I love Episode especially because of giving the users a chance to write their own story! The only problem with that is the people who use mobile and create stories have disadvantages. I know Episode is working to update their app all the time but I think they should also help the mobile creators out too. I began to write my story and as I got further in I got to the max of 20 characters. This became a problem due to the fact that you don’t just see 20 of the same people your whole life. At least you should have the ability to delete a character or change their name. Another one was having only 5 people in a setting, (I don’t know if there is a reason for this or not). In some parts of my story I struggle to have certain things like parties or simply a get together with friends. This is because parties usually don’t have 5 people and if I have a group of friends go out and there is more than 5 I have to pull one of them away. Speaking of settings in mobile there is only a certain amount of settings! I mean I’ve tried to find some of the settings on the Writer Portal in mobile but they don’t show up. Could you please add more settings in for the mobile users? One last thing the clothing options are really limited on mobile so I can only choose the clothes Episode has created. I really want to show my characters uniqueness with their clothes too, this isn’t one of the major digs but I thought I just might add it in. The best game in the whole entire world

Where do I even start? This is the best game I’ve ever played , when I wake up I play it, all the way to the time I go to bed . Episode has so many great story’s to read , and is an great adventure every time. Episode has every genera of story’s, lgbt options , and different character customization options, you can make your character/characters look just like you, or look the opposite of you. There are so many options , and when I feel like I want to take an adventure, I just grab my phone and click on to episode . I’m so obsessed with the game, that I finished to story’s that were 60 chapters each, in 3 days. I only have 2 cons for this app. You only get a limited amount of passes at a time , but you can watch adds to eliminate the time you have to wait for more passes. My second con , is the fact that some story’s take gems, in order to make the good options , and choices, you have to spend your gems. The good think about this is , the fact that there are so many story’s that don’t take gems, and honestly, there the best. Episode takes me from a journey through all of the emotions with there great story’s. I ten out of ten recommend episode . If you choose to download it , I’ll recommend you some story’s . Some story’s I recommend are ‘the rockstar next door limelight ‘. I also recommend ‘rent a boyfriend’ ‘ my sisters crush’, and so many more great story’s. Ps. I’m sorry this is so long , there are just so many great things about episode.

i love the stories and the drama, it’s very enjoyable and i’m stuck on this game everyday because it is so good. However, there’s is something i want to complaint about, the diamonds. I don’t like how i can’t choose a cute outfit because i have to spend 20 diamonds. i’ve just recently downloaded the game and i already felt like deleting it because i couldn’t choose any good outfits. I also don’t like how we only get 1 diamond after every story/chapter and i understand you can buy more diamonds but the prices aren’t even a good deal for the amount of diamonds we get.. like 100 dollars for 150 diamonds? most of the good options are like 25 diamonds, those 150 diamonds would be gone in a day for me. I personally feel like yall should make the diamonds go up to 5-10 after every chapter/story and i feel like people who are just now downloading should get a starter pack technically, maybe like 200 diamonds to start off with and maybe like 100 passes to start off with. i feel like it would make the game more fun but i do understand you have to get money so once the people run out of their diamonds and passes then they can pay for more and they don’t get 5-10 diamonds, they only get 2-3 after every story. After all, this is your game, so whatever you do.. it is your option but i just feel like this would make the game more fun and reduce less anger problems and complaints about the diamond system! Overall amazing game, keep up the good work! 🫶🏾

I really like Episode I’ve played it off and on for a couple of years now. I just recently downloaded it a couple weeks ago since a year ago. The first thing I noticed was the new stories that seem really good. I also know that there has been a lot of changes and I’m not so happy about it. First off you have too many choices that I have to spend diamonds on. I don’t remember having to spend money to make a good choice. I get it y’all have to make your money but not with ALL the choices. I shouldn’t have to use diamonds to make a decision on a change of clothes. I can’t change into nothing different with out having to use diamonds and that’s not fare at all for the reader. Make the game a little more useful for us than you and stop being so money hungry he’ll we all got to eat and I’m not about to keep spending my money on no games that I might not keep that long. So I feel like y’all could at least make it a little more interesting and fun because this is not it. You all are wrong for this and the tickets take too long to refresh. I use to be able to read for hours because my tickets would renew while I read now it don’t start until the chapter of the last ticket ends. THIS GAME HAS OFFICIALLY IRRITATED ME change it back the way it was. Like I said before my rant. I love the new stories I’m glad I don’t have to keep seeing the Pretty Littler Liars, and Mean Girls anymore. Just make it a little more fun to read instead of braking the bank for diamonds and tickets.

I love this game, I do, but it has some MAJOR issues. I’ll start with the positives, the $15 for unlimited reading (amethyst) is awesome if you only read stories that episode hasn’t taken over and destroyed with gem options. If they didn’t have that option I would definitely never open this app again. The support is great, they know what they’re doing and almost always my issue is fixed. The community is great. Now let’s get honest, the gem options is way out of line. You want to charge for exclusive clothes, fine. But 30 gems every 6 lines to answer someone that’s ridiculous. Especially when no matter what you say they game always ends the same. Also where you guys are putting your money and work isn’t in the right place. You offer all these different mini games and gumball machines, your always updating the app, and yet people’s games aren’t even working properly. I’ve had negative shards that I spent A LOT of time into and you come out with new broken gumball games instead of fixing the shards. Idk like I said I love the game but it is a mess Edit to add a star: they fixed the shards! I got all my shards back! Thank goodness cause I spent so much time and money getting them. Now my complaint still stands with the gem options. Gem options are great! Great way to make money, but they’re making them way too expensive. Even in their competitors if you choose gem options they’re only 5 gems. I think way more people would download this app and pay for it if they were cheaper

I love episode, I’ve grown up with episode for around 5 years, maybe 6 years now ever since I was younger and it’s been one of the most fun and story inclusive game apps that I have had. I love that you can choose from episode made stories but also support other writes and really engage in the community along with their stories. There was a long time in my life of having episode in which I had to limit myself to playing only community made stories as they were really the “cheaper” option in terms of diamonds. Don’t get me wrong, community stories are incredible and the writers are very talented, but not being able to play the main episode stories because the use of diamonds is really a bummer! It’s like when you’re reading a story they give you choices of either completely looking homeless (for free) or having to pay an ungodly crazy amount of diamonds just to look nice 😭- same thing goes for love choices too, you either get to be super rude to someone (for free) or pay a lot of diamonds yet again just to be nice. I appreciate the recent update from not to long ago where shards became a thing and you could trade them In for diamonds but I still believe the diamond usage is so unfair.. it’s kinda pointless too when you think about it because you get 1 diamond for each chapter you read but then in the story it costs 20 diamonds to make a choice! I say it’d be cool to see maybe other ways to earn diamonds or simply just lower the price for them.

many things could be improved

Although this app has many great stories there are many things that could be improved. Number one, diamonds, I find it ridiculous that if I wanted to wear a cute outfit or do something like go to a party I’d have to pay 15 diamonds. They could at least make it reasonable like 5 and give u at least two diamonds at the end of each chapter. Just because of this I only watch the stories where I can choose whatever I’d like even tho there are many that’d I’d like to watch but they don’t allow you to choose the best options unless u have that number of diamonds. Number two, tickets, I feel that we should be given more than four tickets per refill. There are many stories that have a least 50 episodes so it’s kind off annoying that I can only use 4 and then have to wait for like 3 hours for the tickets to refill. Which leads me to number three, waiting time, I absolutely hate when I get to a really good part of a story and my tickets run out and I’m forced to wait 2-3 hours before the refill. I will say they have added ads that you can watch and in return you get 30 minutes off your time but you can only use those about 1 to 2 separate times a day before you are forced to wait another 2-3 hours. In conclusion it would be great if the amount of diamonds needed to pick the most appealing choice could be reduced as well as the amount of time needed to refill the tickets, and if the amount of tickets could be increased.

Fun, but I hate some features

Let me get started by saying this game is really fun, and I enjoy the stories, and you can make your own and whatnot, but one thing I hate is the fact that some choices cost “diamonds”, I can agree that it’s a good idea in some areas, but I don’t want to have to pay for every single good choice, it ruins the whole story and it becomes boring and unsatisfying. The only way to acquire diamonds is by buying them or earning them at the end of an episode. The “golden” choices cost diamonds, but the amount of diamonds they cost is ridiculous, ranging from like 14 to 30, which is crazy to me, I think it should be like 3-5, or maybe you could watch an ad. You also don’t earn enough diamonds to be able to save up, you get 1 when you finish an episode, or you can buy barely any for a ridiculous price, and if you do save up, it’ll get one one good choice per game, so…. In conclusion I think this game is fun, and if you don’t mind spending a bunch of money to get a good result in your story, go for it I guess, but, truthfully, it ruins the game experience. Another thing is the tickets…. You get like 3 tickets every couple hours, the tickets allow you to play episodes, I think they should let us buy tickets using the diamonds, because I want to keep playing, but I have to wait three hours, or pay for more with real money, I also think they should give more diamonds at the end of an episode, maybe like 2, overall though it is a very fun game and very entertaining.
