It’s good, but...

I just wish some of the choices didn’t require diamonds, especially not as many as they do. I get it. You want to make money, but good grief. There are some that should just be free because they MAKE SENSE. Also, the clothes and hair definitely should be that much in diamonds (really should be free, but I’m being reasonable of sorts). Please change things. The stories are good, but the enjoyment flicks away whenever you can’t choose something. P.S. The alternate endings shouldn’t be “priced”. If they are, make them 1 diamond. Edit: You should chill out on the stories all of a sudden needing diamonds to continue the person’s dates or things along that line. Why? Because they’re more frequently being placed in the middle of the date or action. Like “Forbidden Pleasure” for example (one of the many). I thought the whole date with Liam would play out, because it was going so well, and BAM. Diamonds are needed to continue the date. This is seriously getting out of hand. It’s almost like the more reviews you get about the diamond and keep situation, the worse things get. Also, this whole 2+ hours to wait for keys is growing tired.

It’s good but pricey!!!

Honestly in my opinion this is a really good game I just wish that having all the other stories intertwined with each other would be awesome which in the few stories they do intertwine with the same people on different occasions,The only thing I don’t like is that you have to purchase gems in order to pick the right choices they should cut us a little slack! Like maybe give us some ads we can watch to earn gems!! Or like a bigger daily reward instead of just one gem because if you’re putting a lot of money into an app to play then you should get rewarded regardless for those people who cannot afford to purchase gems I just think it’s a little unfair I’m pretty sure a lot of people install the game realize what it’s about and they don’t have the funds to purchase so they uninstall it I was almost one of them but I only put 10 bucks into it which is the most of them are put in for any game I’ve been playing games for so long! So in my opinion they need to fix this app and make it more usable for more users!!So if the app creator is reading this please fix it please make it where it’s easier for people to earn gems without always having to purchase some thing give us more options to choose more choices without having to pay for them I don’t think it’s fair in my opinion I think it’s a little money hungry! So I really hope things change for this app for the better or I will uninstall it pretty soon!!!

Scam. Save your money and time.

Super expensive to play how you would want to. You also have to choose outfits like at least once a chapter, it’s hard to choose the free option, and in this game, the outfit choice does penalize you. I’d be more cool with it if we had a currency exchange system for keys too. I have a ton of those and am out of books to read (that I’m interested in). Please for christs sake make it so that we can sort our friends/follower list. It is IMPOSSIBLE to be friendly and follow back after a certain point because you have to scroll to the bottom of the page. Or at least add a scrub bar. Scrolling laggy and I end up closing the app while mindless scrolling. You guys cap our gifts at 5 a day anyway, at least make it so that we don’t have to be the A hole who doesn’t add people back. There are better apps that have cheaper currency. Also they have sales of “buy one, get one free”, and apparently they don’t know what that means because you buy one and get something 1/4 the value added on… that is NOT how it works. Use the proper name for the “sale” instead of trying to scam people. The phrase means that when you buy X, you get a second X free, not a free Y… which is a scam anyway since they price everything 20x higher than actual video games or books. It’s pretty bad. Save your money and your time, go read a book for free or play an rpg.

This app would be 5 stars for everyone i’m sure if they wouldn’t price decisions so high. I shouldn’t have to spend 25 gems on a decision to see someone special for the night or 20 on a cute outfit. They also make it hard to earn more gems. At least work with some other app to fill out surveys to get gems quicker. Having to keep stopping a story because you don’t have enough gems is such a bummer and really makes you wanna delete the app. I shouldn’t be forced to spend real money just to get gems for a fake story. It’s supposed to be fun and games. Even if the creators could have the players watch ads for more gems, i’m sure we would all be grateful for that. But so far, it looks like they have left us in the dust. I shouldn’t have to play another story horribly and use up my keys just to get 2 gems from finishing a chapter just to make a good decision for another story that cost 25 gems. I’m not happy and other players aren’t. Tabou is gonna lose majority of their players to other story apps if they don’t do something about the gems. You can’t play with a good storyline if you don’t have gems. TLDR; They’ve got to ease up on how many gems we have to spend on decisions. We barely make enough even when we convert them from coins. They should provide optional surveys and optional ads to get free coins.

I really do love this app BUT

I love the stories and how fun they can be; however, I wish the choices didn’t cost as many gems. I understand the makers of the app want to make money but making people pay $1.99 for like 40 gems, however, I think I’d be more inclined to buy gems if the choices cost less gems. The stories definitely become way more interactive and interesting when you use gems; but when the choices cost so many gems, I’m not going to use them as often. I’ve bought more gems before, but I’m not going to keep spending money on it. If the choices were less, I would definitely be more interested in buying gems because I would be getting a lot more bang for my buck. Right now I usually save up my gems for my favorite story and then use all my gems at once. After that I don’t care to buy anymore. I think there could be some major improvements. But anyways, I do love the stories. My last complaint is that stories don’t come out quick enough. I’ve been waiting for the “new chapter” of my stories for weeks now, and I have no other new stories to start. Other than those critiques I like this game way more than other story games I have tried.

Pay To Play App.

Unless you're willing to drop some major cash, run away from this app. And yes I mean major. Even when you buy the VIP membership it is not worth anything because premium choices cost 10-25 diamonds and they're about 5 choices or more each chapter. So all the diamonds they give you - 120 and then 2 at the end of each chapter, get used up immediately. We all know how premium choices make the stories more fun. No one wants to be blasted as being basic in your clothes and your decision when you don't have enough diamonds to get a premium choice. All these story game apps are money hungry. I doubt the developers care about giving us a fair shot at engaging with these stories the way we want to. Watching ads for 1 diamond don't help either. You'd be better off paying for a streaming service like Netflix then the 15 dollars for this apps VIP. Buying VIP in this game really makes you feel like a Very Impulsive Person because you'll regret wasting money on a currency created to be used up within a chapter. They also claim you can have a fun experience without premium choices but come on we know that is not true, simply choosing the "basic" experience, lessens the game play. Their app even outright calls you basic if you don't do premium and encourages you to spend your own real life coins. Save your coins honey this app ain't worth it.

Here’s my issues

I have been dying to leave a review for this app. I love this app💯%, but my problem that I am sure most people can agree with me on is, forcing your MC to have a bisexual sexuality. I am not bisexual, but I don’t mind playing the straight MC because the writing is good, I am gay, but being straight doesn’t bother me because one issa story, and two some of stories are really decent. My problem is why can’t you create a lgbtq section for people who are bisexual, gay and etc. Why do you force the female character who are friends of the MC into sex that is inappropriate to the stories, giving off sexual harassment and all lesbians are not hostile. Another thing, you give us the same character over and over again, and lastly when it comes to POC especially blacks, you still give us white siblings, white family memebers and I am so tired of reading these stories and you still don’t match the MC with the same race of parents. The white washing needs to stop, Episode game is killing the game with their diversity👏🏾. Do better. And the new stories are boring and pointless. Also there is the glitch in the followers, there is all this reporting and you still haven’t fixed any issues.

Feels a little sexual Harrassment-ish

The stories really are great. Though, you have the option to customize the main love interest, there always is an un-customizable second love interest that gives off the sexual harassment/assault vibe. Regardless of whether you want to or not, the advances from the second love interest seem forced. (To the point of unsolicited and unrequited kisses and dates)There should be the ability to turn them down and that be that- (No further pushing of a romantic agenda if the player doesn’t wish for that) or at least, the ability to customize the character to your taste if it is required for the development of the story lines. I have felt very uncomfortable with the automated second love interest. If you say NO or aren’t entertaining the advances, why does each story line tend to force some sort of romantic rapport between the main character (you) and the mystery person? Not cool... It comes off as if the creators are insensitive to sexual harassment victims by forcing the relationship development without allowing the option to decline completely or at least customize the second love interest. Game could legit be unstoppably amazing if it weren’t for that..
