General fixes and improvements
Earn to Die 2 is a masterclass in the 'upgrade-and-repeat' loop. It takes the simple premise of the original and expands it into a sprawling, multi-tiered odyssey through a zombie-infested wasteland. As an expert in physics-based racers, I found the vehicle weight and destruction physics to be exceptionally satisfying. Smashing through a hoard of zombies or a stack of crates feels exactly as weighty and impactful as it should.
The progression system is where the game truly shines. Each run provides just enough currency to make a tangible improvement—a better engine, a larger fuel tank, or a roof-mounted machine gun. This 'just one more go' energy is supported by a much longer campaign mode than its predecessor, featuring destructible urban environments and multiple paths. It’s a gritty, high-octane experience that perfectly balances frustration and reward, making every foot of progress feel hard-earned and glorious.
Massive Story Mode across multiple cities
Fully destructible vehicles that fall apart as you drive
10 different vehicles to unlock and customize
Over-the-top zombie-smashing physics
Early on, don't hold the boost constantly. Use it only to clear steep inclines or large gaps. Managing your fuel is more important than speed in the early stages of a new map.
Prioritize the Fuel Tank and Engine upgrades first. While guns and armor are cool, they add weight to your car. You need the power and capacity to reach the next gas station before you focus on combat.
Yes, Earn to Die 2 is much longer, features more complex levels with multiple paths, and introduced vehicle destruction.
Ok so I’m sure it must be hard to make a console game and a lot of time and effort would go into it but, I would like to suggest a console game. So I know that the developers have already made crash cars wick is kind of the theme I am suggesting. But with a twist! Ok so keep the the same art style of earn to die make more weapons similar to the ones currently available and make more vehicles maybe 10 more? And make it where it’s a large arena with 20 players or so and you have to destroy every car. But when a persons car is destroyed they can go on foot. Also make them be able to find another vehicle and weapons and maybe traps? I know this is a lot to ask but it seems like a good idea to me and please let me know what you think by responding
i’ll begin with the improvements this game brings… vehicles now have destruction which can cause unique runs. also levels are now broken up in 2 or 3 parts with a gas stations, which in turn causes levels to be much longer now the bad… the levels are all designs the same, like the exacts same, same looping background and your on the same highway environment the entire time, wayyy more boring then the first game. also can only get the next vehicles by completing the level, and once you obtain them, you cannot go back to your previous vehicle. because of this you pretty much go the same speed the entire game, the game gets exactly progressively harder with the upgrade of your vehicle, you’ll never have a run that feels particularly impressive try it for yourself if you want, it’s cheap and it’s slightly different then the first game, but overall wayy less overall content and far more stale overall gameplay with absolutely zero way to boost progression, you will always need to upgrade your vehicle to a certain point
Hey! I recently bought this game about a week or two ago and I’ve been enjoying it a lot. For 99 cents, it really is a good bang for your buck and a good time waster. However that’s all it really is. After the 3rd or 4th new car, the game just gets repetitive and boring. As things get more expensive, progress just gets slower and slower. There are no new enemies and it’s just the same old same old. Don’t get me wrong, I like to see the cars get upgrades with the armor and weapons but for how long it takes to get said upgrades, the reward I get for doing so just doesn’t feel worth it. It will take me 4 or 5 runs of the same level to get a single price of armor for my vehicle, but still barely make it much farther than before. TLDR: Fun, but gets repetitive and upgrades don’t feel powerful enough for their pricing.
1 this game is great because it has no internet or ads popping up constantly and 2 it’s great for passing the time especially if you got all your work done in school if you don’t have any wifi cause the service is banned at are school so we only got 5G with 2 bars so this is perfect best game for the people who don’t have wifi and it was worth the 1$ and it so fun where my friends started playing and they aren’t even a car person thanks and would like more cars added and maybe a second map and maybe you could let us teleport to different areas and different locations
It’s not that bad I mean .I think the first one was better. but this one it’s it’s it’s a little bit harder because I mean you have to finish the level to get onto the next car but it’s it’s also fun because there’s gas stations and that makes it a little bit easier I mean it’s also kind of making me mad that like when you change the tires it doesn’t look different when you like when you like teen stuff it doesn’t look different but I mean it’s still fun but I really like the first one better because I mean it’s just better it’s just more fun but this one’s gonna be fun because I mean I’m only on the first level in first get second gas station I only made made it one yeah station so I’m pretty excited to go like pretty much halfway across the country and I mean it’s gonna be fun but this is just my first review to start🚘🧟♂️🧟♀️🧟♂️🧟♀️🧟♂️🧟♀️ first ones better keep that in mind.
This game does nothing to reward you for a good performance. The mechanic of driving is clean however your performance has little to no impact on how far your rig travels. There is no element of getting better as a player aside from buying more upgrades. Once you’ve spent hours grinding to get every upgrade then you clear the level. What’s the point in even driving if there are no hopes of clearing a level unless I have every upgrade? Once you complete a level rinse and repeat because the game doesn’t let you carry forward your fully upgraded rig. Sure the ice cream truck will be better eventually but let me run my old rig until I have enough for the new rig to reach parity. Further, let me take my new rig back to a prior level, what’s the fun in having a fully loaded rig if you only get to use it once? Let me dominate a prior level with the new fancier setup. Not worth your money. No reward just grinding.
Loved the first one, never made a review about it because I wanted to play it through, so I did. Seen there was a second one, so I downloaded it. The first one is great, if your looking for strategic games this is not for you, just so you know, but it’s fun for passing time, or if you don’t have internet. It was amazing, but this one is what got me, and that explains the rating on the first game, your team didn’t care about anything but money, you literally made it possible beating the level/game without the car/vehicle from being maxed out, that is a bad mess up for the company trying to make the car pass a level without being all the way upgraded, that’s crazy, and not being able to play the next level as the fully upgraded car? Really? Should have tested your game out before releasing it. If it wasn’t right then you shouldn’t have released it yet. If you don’t improve please don’t make a third one or a spin off.
Great game graphics on point gameplay on point levels odd bc of the random vehicle section and the fact all the armor with front saws are the same and gets really old. One of the biggest most annoying problems I highly suggest fixing is the controls over time when you just really want to get to the next stop bc starting over same spot also gets old and boring, once your close for some reason you can’t hit your booster or gas anymore is works then doesn’t at all then you have to start again. Now idk if you did that on purpose so you can max out your parts or that’s actually a game bug but it needs fixing ASAP!!!! Please thank you and I recommend this game than the others!!
