Digger Classic Retro Arcade Game is a brilliant blast from the past. It perfectly captures the spirit of the original 1983 MS-DOS classic, bringing the iconic jewel-collecting, monster-dodging gameplay to touchscreens. The developer clearly respected the source material, retaining the authentic pixel art, the memorable chiptune soundtrack (including Popcorn!), and the unforgiving difficulty that defined the golden age of arcade gaming.
While the touch controls take a little getting used to compared to an old-school keyboard, they are responsive enough once you find your groove. Navigating the dirt tunnels, strategically dropping bags of gold on pursuing Nobbins and Hobbins, and collecting that elusive cherry still provides a genuine adrenaline rush. It's a fantastic nostalgia trip for older gamers and a great piece of gaming history for new ones.

Navigate your machine through the dirt to collect all the emeralds on the screen. Clearing all gems advances you to the next, much harder level.
Avoid the Nobbins and Hobbins chasing you. You can shoot them with a slow-recharging fireball or dig under bags of gold to crush them.
Master the fast-paced, maze-chase gameplay. Timing your movements and planning your tunnel routes are essential for survival.
Yes, it features the iconic retro chiptune soundtrack, including the famous 'Popcorn' melody.
Like others have said, no real controls. The lack of a D Pad type option makes it unplayable. This is a paid game. There is a free one that works great but has ads. How hard is it to just add a control pad?
The game looks like the old digger game but the controls make the game unplayable and there is no optional d-pad controller offered. Don't waste your money.
Are complete garbage. The classic game destroyed by lazy controls.
The ads in this game are intrusive to the point of rendering the game unplayable. You have to watch video ads very frequently to play the game.
I loved playing this as a kid and finally getting to relive this on my iPhone. No ads and no in-app purchases - just like the good old days I guess :)
Accurate gameplay, graphics and music. Love this game from my childhood.
Looks fun but when I run the app it asks me to login to my iTunes account to verify the purchase. Seems like a scam to get your iTunes info!

Best 80s arcade games is a very fun trivia game and also include information and videos of gameplay of the most epic classic games ever made.
