Bugfixes and improvements.
Crossy Road Castle Intro successfully distills the frantic, joyful energy of the mainline Crossy Road spin-off into an accessible, highly addictive bite-sized preview. Hipster Whale knows exactly how to build compelling arcade gameplay, and adapting their iconic voxel characters into a multi-tiered tower platformer works beautifully. The controls are incredibly crisp and responsive, which is vital for a game that demands precise timing to dodge swinging obstacles.
What shines brightest in this intro version is the pacing. Each room is a quick, mini-puzzle that takes less than twenty seconds to clear, creating an incredible 'just one more floor' momentum that makes it hard to put down. The level design is witty, colorful, and packed with that signature quirky humor the franchise is famous for. It acts as a perfect onboarding ramp for new players, proving that the classic blocky chicken has plenty of life left outside of dodging highway traffic.
Addictive, fast-paced arcade platforming mechanics built for touch screens
Iconic and beloved Crossy Road blocky 3D voxel graphical style
Bite-sized, randomized level layouts providing high replay value
Charming customization elements featuring fun unlockable hats and characters
Accessible control scheme making it easy for casual and expert players alike
Use the left and right directional arrows to run across platforms and time your taps on the jump button to clear gaps. Watch the patterns of the patrolling enemies. Jump directly on top of their heads to knock them out, then quickly stand on the glowing green elevator switch to unlock the door to the next level.
Gameplay requires navigating bite-sized, single-screen rooms stacked on top of each other. Every room challenges you with a unique platforming puzzle, requiring quick reflexes to collect floating gold coins and reach the exit before environmental hazards close in. Accumulating coins allows you to unlock a selection of classic blocky character skins and hats.
No, it is a curated introductory preview designed to showcase the core platforming gameplay loop and mechanics before diving into the full game expansion.
Since I tried this game the full version I really love this game. It was honestly very great about eight months ago, but now the intro came out in. This was long after my free trial expired so I tried it and I really like it. The memories do hit. but if you’re feeling generous, you should add some more things right now. There was only one unwalkable character. Please add two or three more. If you can even one I will be happy with and maybe a hat too next if you’re really really want to you should make us get a key so we can unlock one more world or just select the tutorial world, but even when those fans are out of the way, this game is still really good
I really like Crossy Road Castle Intro and I hope you can make the full game free someday. Here are my ideas: Make the game free and add optional adds for coins, tokens, or extra lives. You could also have a short ad before each level, but not while your playing. Sell a $2.99 No Ads pass for people who want no ads, and add in game buying for coins, tokens, or skins. I also think free players could play for about 1 and a half hours a day, then wait until the next day or buy the No Ads pass for unlimited play. For events, maybe let players unlock them by watching 3 ads or paying with in game coins. If someone is offline, maybe use premade Apple Arcade ads so the game still works. It would also be cool if the free version stayed compatible with Apple Arcade so everyone could still play together. I think this would help more people play your game and still help you make money. Thank you for making such a awesome game!
I love this game, but whenever I go to download the full version, it just says cannot connect. I tried powering off my tablet, and I tried turning the Wi-Fi on and off again, but it won’t work. I’m not sure if you guys can help but any tips would be Amazing. I love Bluey so much and I would be so glad to get it working. Thanks for reading!
I love the game and the intro even though you can’t do much. I’d recommend a few changes of being able to get past level 30 and make it 60 for the space tower. The second change I’d make is so on every other castle you can play 20 levels ( including the Bluey castle). Lastly I’d make it so you can get more hats and skins. Thank you for reading this.
sadly, there’s no other level than the space level. the only thing I hate about the intro game.
This game is really good, but it also gets me mad that there’s like a Bluey version that keeps popping up, but it’s still a good game and there’s no adds
The game was good, had a fun time playing it though I agree that the full version should be free in stead of paying monthly for Apple Arcade
It’s fun if you’re a millennial, ain’t no kid playing this. How about make it free and put ads instead. Nobody is paying for this or Apple Arcade, that’s why you guys are putting out a demo…
