Hello players! In the new version we have introduced fixes and improvements to “Chess Coach Pro” to make you play even stronger. We wish you beautiful victories in chess!
Chess Coach Pro is one of the most comprehensive training tools available for aspiring Grandmasters. Instead of just letting you play against a bot, it breaks the game down into its core tactical components. The puzzle library is massive, covering everything from basic forks to complex endgame maneuvers that I didn't even know had names. It’s essentially a personal tutor in your pocket.
The UI is clean and distraction-free, which is exactly what you want when you're trying to calculate a 7-move mate. What I find most valuable is the 'Opening' section, which explains the *why* behind the moves rather than just asking you to memorize them. It turns a dauntingly complex game into a series of solvable, satisfying challenges. It's a high-quality educational tool disguised as a game.

Clean and professional user interface
When presented with a puzzle, look for 'Checks, Captures, and Attacks' in that specific order. This systematic approach ensures you don't miss a simple winning move while searching for a more complex strategy.
Use the 'Opening Explorer' to see common responses to your first few moves. The app will highlight the move with the highest win percentage for your color, helping you build a solid foundation for your match.
Yes, it includes a powerful engine with adjustable difficulty levels for practice matches.
This app certainly can improve your chess yet sometimes the solutions offered are just silly. There are times, for example, when the app passes up obvious decisions to take an opponent’s piece which I just don’t believe would happen in any game. On a few occasions the app has frozen, neither offering a solution of what to do next nor letting you move onto the next scenario, just keeps saying wrong move and the suggestion button won’t work. I like the app but it’s a work in progress and needs some more thought both technologically and in terms of the chess scenarios
I like the content of the app. A lot of puzzles, training for opening moves, and many more. But the design can be better. For example, the developer uses light text over over light backgrounds. You can read the text but why? It is an easy fix. Use a darker color text over light backgrounds.
It’s perfect
