Cargo Bridge HD is a stellar example of how physics-based puzzlers should be handled on mobile. The transition to high definition brings a crispness to the blueprints that makes the engineering phase feel professional yet accessible. You aren't just drawing lines; you are calculating stress loads and budget constraints to help your little workers move heavy cargo across dangerous chasms.
The beauty of the game lies in its two-phase structure: the Design mode and the Test mode. Watching your bridge groan under the weight of a heavy crate, only to snap right as the worker reaches the finish line, is both heartbreaking and hilariously educational. It forces you to rethink your use of struts and connectors, leaning into the trial-and-error spirit that made the original web version a hit. It's rewarding, smart, and visually sharp.
Authentic physics-based construction mechanics
Two distinct play phases: Design and Test
Wide variety of materials: wood, steel, and cables
High-definition graphics optimized for modern displays
Detailed leaderboards and budget-based scoring
When building your bridge, always remember that triangles are the strongest geometric shape. Instead of long horizontal beams, use diagonal struts to distribute the weight of the cargo more effectively toward the anchor points.
Start in Green Mode to learn the basics with generous budgets. Once you've mastered the physics, jump into Challenge Mode where every penny counts and the gaps are significantly wider.
You can always delete components to get a full refund and try a more efficient design. Efficiency is rewarded with higher scores!
I played the crap out if this game in my CAD class whenever we were in-between projects. I was looking for it for months “bridge game” “bridge game with cargo” but I couldn’t find it. My buddy found it and sent it to me. Easiest $0.99 I ever spent (and I usually don’t buy games). Slaps just has hard 10 tears later. Don’t ask questions, just play!
I’ve played this since 2013 on and off. Just got an iPad and so my old eyes can play it again (bigger!). Fun and challenging - great brain exercises!
Don’t ask just play it
Best building game ever

I work at a construction site and this game is as close to real life as it gets! If I could have a nickel for each soul I've seen leave the body, I'd have $2.47. I've killed almost as many workers here as I have in the real world. Thanks to this game, I'll only have digital blood on my hands from now on!
I really like the concept of this game, but the design could use some work. I have noticed that unless I'm zoomed in all the way the "design" portion if the game is relatively unresponsive. It's too difficult to do straight lines especially short ones(fingers are in the way), and anything on the bottom 1/2" of the screen is impossible to draw on because of the calibration. All in all though, I would recommend this game to the majority of my friends so I say 4 to 4.5 stars.
Great game. There are practically an infinite number of ways to solve each level making it fun to play the same levels again and again. To give it five stars though, The game needs to add more types of cargo, many even cargo trucks, and cable for suspension bridges. But otherwise fun and it is hilarious to watch your cargo-men fall from your catastrophically failing bridge
