Bus Jam is a masterclass in the 'sorting puzzle' subgenre. It takes the familiar concept of traffic management and adds a layer of logic that requires genuine forward-thinking. You are tasked with clearing a parking lot filled with colorful passengers by matching them to their corresponding colored buses. The catch is that space is limited, and one wrong move can clog the entire system.
The tactile feel of the game is excellent—tapping a person and watching them scurry through the maze to find their bus is very rewarding. As you progress, the levels introduce obstacles and tighter corridors that turn the game into a high-stakes logic puzzle. It’s one of those rare mobile games that is easy to start but truly difficult to master, making it highly addictive for puzzle fans. The level design is consistently clever, never feeling unfair but always pushing you to plan three steps ahead.

Tips & Walkthrough
Your waiting area only has a few slots. If you fill it with passengers whose buses haven't arrived yet, you'll lose the level. Always prioritize passengers who can board immediately.

Don’t do the upgrade

Thank you for correcting in a timely manner. **** I lost all the coins I had earned (and paid for) when I upgraded and no one has responded to my complaints. The restore purchases button doesn’t work. **** I loved the game, played it every day, watched the ads I chose to in order to earn more coins and to get more lives and if this doesn’t get resolved, you’re going to lose all my ad income. I will remove the app tomorrow if this isn’t resolved.
Fun Game But Hits a Paywall at Level 397

It's a game that combines fun gameplay mechanics with increasingly difficult levels, making it a great pastime. The graphics are simple and decent, offering a smooth gaming experience on iOS devices. However, my enthusiasm took a hit as I reached level 397. At this point, the game introduces challenge that can only be released by purchasing additional tiles. This sudden shift towards a pay-to-win model was disappointing, especially after investing so much time without needing to spend money (except for ads removal, which I did). Like another reviewer mentioned, it seems you're forced to make in-app purchases to progress further. This aspect detracts from the game's initial appeal, where skill and strategy were the only prerequisites for advancement. While I understand the developers' need for monetization, a more balanced approach, offering alternate ways to earn or unlock essential items, would have been preferable. It's a shame because Bus Jam is really fun and engaging up to this point. I'd still recommend it for those who enjoy puzzle games, but with the caveat of the potential need to spend money to fully experience all its levels.
You WILL Hit a Paywall Point (EDITED)
Fri Sep 13 2024 whisperingloonAs much as the developers say every level can be solved without boosts or whatever, there are some levels labeled Hard or Super Hard that cannot be passed without boosters. And if you’ve used your coins there is no way forward. I’ve given up on the game. It WAS fun. But. I hit a level with no coins, no boosters, and without a perfect play I lose every single time. So I’m done. EDIT: The game is fun, so I did open it today and try again as the developers suggested. Failed again. I came close to solving!!! But. My fat thumb accidentally tapped the wrong color. Which on some levels means you’d lose. This time, it meant I triggered a bomb. I tapped the bomb person five times as the countdown happened and he didn’t move. So. I lost. Again. The next time I tried, I did something wrong early on. Lost super early. I gave it another chance. Just more frustration. The game WAS fun but with no chance to pass this level unless I drop $10 or whatever it is, it’s no longer worth my time.
A PERFECT Game Ruined
Thu Apr 03 2025 LoveFaithBlossomThis game used to be absolute perfection! It was all about skill and don’t believe the claims you have to pay to play. I’ve broken several of the levels people said were “impossible” with pure skill and a ton of patience with trial and error lol. I even played without using boosters which is much more difficult but I loved the challenge. I also loved that it was simple without all the side hype of other games. Well, here comes the 2025 updates to ruin a perfectly perfect game. It is now super busy with a bunch of side game distractions. That I could overlook but now they suddenly have a super invasive “privacy” policy which pretty much sells a ridiculous amount of your very personal info to the highest bidder. This was my FAVORITE game and very helpful for my anxiety but I knew it was just too good to last. I am so brokenhearted and went from playing all throughout the day to only a few times a week and now having to delete completely. So sad to let this one go.

Sun Apr 28 2024 LeiadaBossI saw this game via an ad on another game I was playing and had to download it! I’ve been playing non-stop and really enjoy it! BUT——it seems I have come to a standstill @ level 199 🥺It will not allow me to finish this level because it’s short 1 red person. I literally cannot complete it because I get down to the end of the level where there’s only 2 red people left instead of 3 😲 I have invested too much money in this game to give up but if I can’t play beyond this level, I may have to quit 🤷🏾♀️ Is there a way the developer can assist me with this issue? I really do want to keep playing…… As an update to my earlier post, the developer has fixed the issue and I am able to go past Level 199. I say THANK YOU!!!!! 🙏🏾 ☺️ Keep up the good work! 👍🏾🙌🏾
Glitch with one color
Sat Sep 16 2023 25Vader25UPDATE: what’s going on with ALL the colors?? I’m in the 500s levels and nothing will make them get on the buses no matter how many are in the grid spots. I keep using up my money to add spots and they won’t go onto the bus. Do ALL colors need to be 5 people now? I’ll have to stop playing because that would start using up all my points. Please advise! Thank you. I love this game. It fun and not too complicated. I’m in the 300s levels and have recently noticed what seems like a bug or glitch. The neon green color has to have 5 people before it can get on the bus. Now that I’ve noticed it, I usually have to add a row before I run out of space and then have to watch an ad to continue. Is this intentional or a problem that needs to be fixed?
Problems with in App purchases.
Mon Jul 22 2024 CardtapperToday for the 3rd time, I have made a purchase and have not received the items I paid for. For instance, one purchase was supposed to give me 3 jump-a-man to the bus features. They showed up on the board, but when I tapped to activate a “jump”, no jump happened. I tried again. My available count was reduced by two, but zero jumps happened. Same thing happened when I used the feature that adds three spaces to the bus queue. Chat cannot help. I must follow a list of steps to request a refund. The instructions include a link, but NOT the link that is required to deal with the problem. The link I need is NOT tap-able, so I have to leave the app and type it in, & return to the app for the next instruction. I never successfully made it to the final step that allows me to request a refund. Sorry, but that’s it for me. LOVE THE GAME, but I’ve lost $40 now, so I’m done!
Pay to play, very disappointing
Sat Apr 13 2024 TracyhrgoddessGraphics are great, I like the challenging levels, but some levels you can’t get through without purchasing the boosters. The pkgs of coins/boosters offered are expensive. And if you buy the coins you can use to buy the boosters, but you only get 3 of the boosters; example: cost is $9.99 for about 1600 coins, to purchase some boosters you need 2100 coins…it’s just too expensive for what you get it’s too bad, I was enjoying the game, paid to remove ads, I think I even purchased one of the booster/coins pkg, but those go fast when you are trying to get through a really hard level. I’m on level 392 now, and have been trying to get thru it for 2 days now, there’s no way that I can see to get through it without extra tiles. I am going to delete this game.
