This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.
Fixed graphics bug for non-retina iPad displays
Boost 2 is a sensory overload in the best possible way. It takes the tunnel-runner concept and cranks it up to eleven with vibrant colors and dizzying speeds. The tilt controls are some of the best I've ever experienced—they are incredibly sensitive and accurate, which is vital when you are dodging obstacles at Mach 1.
As the levels progress, the tunnel opens up and shifts, keeping you constantly guessing. The 'boost' mechanic feels fantastic, giving you a surge of speed that is both terrifying and exhilarating. It’s an arcade experience that is perfect for short bursts of adrenaline.
Stunning 3D graphics and effects
Precise tilt-based steering
Multiple modes including Time Trial and Survival
Competitive global leaderboards
Don't just look at what's immediately in front of you. Focus on the horizon of the tunnel to anticipate where the next gap will be.
The speed increases every few seconds. How long can you last before the obstacles become a blur?
Boost 2 is primarily designed for tilt, but touch options can be enabled in the settings.
This is by far my favorite iOS game. So simple yet so difficult. Unbeatable and still you try and try. Every time you manage to inch your high score is cause for cheering. Addictive gameplay at it’s very very best. iOS games come and go but this one endures. I’ve been playing it since the iPhone 1. So much fun even on that little 3.5” screen. Just got my first iPad and it now melts my face off on the 12.9” display. Highly recommend pairing this with a playlist of 90s era propulsive electronica like Crystal Method, Chemical Brothers, and Underworld. Trust me on this. Note to the developer: I just upgraded to an iPhone X and noticed immediately that various interface graphics, both in the menus and in-game, have become tiny to the point of unreadable, also the HUD that appears when you boost is completely absent. Tried deleting and reinstalling to no avail. A bug-fix update is in order. Please please don’t let this game fall behind the times and fail. That would be a great tragedy.
Got my first 2nd-hand iPod touch 4 at 12, and a friend recommended this game—it was amazing. I played it nonstop in my free time. Grew up, switched phones, updated systems, and forgot its name for years. Finally found it via Gemini recently, played a round, but the menu resolution is so outdated for modern devices. If the dev could revamp it for full-screen, update the resolution and give it a modern touch, it’d rival any game today. It’s still an incredible game at its core!
This is one of the few apps I’ve seen that has survived the MANY hardware and software updates for almost 10 years and, besides the stock Apple apps; the ONLY one that has been on every Apple device I have owned since then. Considering I’m older and very rarely play games-that’s obviously the biggest compliment I can pay this wonderful game! It breaks all the barriers of ease of use, design, exciting, WORTH EVERY SECOND!
This is essentially a tunnel racing game, but the visual impact, the sensation of speed, skill, obstacles and real impacts are insane and as addictive as any extraordinary game should be. This game cannot be beaten, I'm convinced. But that doesn't matter, you keep getting better and faster and you won't be able to stop. If you love a challenge and high speed driving, this is it, right here. There is nothing quite like it.
Seen this game at an apple keynote ad as a kid and downloaded it. Loved playing it, and still playing to this day, but I have one major issue. 6 years since last update. SIX YEARS. Jesus Christ. With iOS 15 around the corner, I don’t think we’ll be able to be able to play this game soon. And what’s more irritating is on the developers, it shows they developed other apps updated for the newer iPhone, so that shows huge laziness on their part. When we get an update for this game, my review will get an update as well.
I just wish it were updated for more recent versions phone displays. I’d be happy to donate a few dollars for this app. It seriously my fav iOS game probably since it came out.
Love this game, had the first one on my iPod touch yeeeears ago and I’ve had this one ever since. Great for killing time especially when internet is dodgy!
This was the first game I got on IPhone when I made the first switch from Blackberry, in 2013. I can’t ever delete it because it’s just a great game; simple in concept, difficult in execution. No ads.
Jonathan Lanis has recently contributed a simple and fun bit of 3D obstacle-dodging tunnel madness to the App Store in the form of Boost 3D...
