A small update to keep your blocks moving smoothly.
We’ve polished a few things, squashed some bugs, and made the game run better than ever.
Thanks for playing and sharing your thoughts - more updates are on the way!
Block Away Tap Out Puzzle is an incredibly addictive spatial reasoning game. The premise is simple—tap the blocks in the direction they are pointing to clear the screen—but the execution is brilliant. It starts off as a mindless clicker but quickly transforms into a complex 3D puzzle where you have to rotate the entire structure to find the only 'free' block that can be moved.
The haptic feedback when a block successfully flies away is very satisfying, and the minimalist aesthetic keeps the focus on the mechanics. It’s one of those rare games that manages to be relaxing and mentally taxing at the same time. The later levels, which involve interlocking shapes and limited moves, really force you to plan three or four steps ahead. It's a must-download for fans of games like Rubik's cubes or Tetris.
Intuitive 3D puzzle mechanics
Vibrant graphics and satisfying sound effects
Hundreds of levels with increasing complexity
Brain-training gameplay suitable for all ages
Swipe anywhere outside the block cluster to rotate the entire object. This is key to finding blocks that aren't blocked by others.
Start from the outside and work your way in. If a block won't move, it's likely being obstructed by another block further down the line.
Plan your moves! In challenge mode, you have a limited number of taps to clear the entire screen, making every move count.
Use the coins earned from levels to buy new block skins and backgrounds, changing the look and feel of your puzzle-solving sessions.
You can use the 'Undo' button to reverse a move or use a 'Hint' to see which block is free to be tapped.
You are definitely a level 5 except you have one very very fatal flaw which just cost me a game… your block drifts after it has been turned…it ALWAYS drifts which makes extremely difficult and sometimes nigh impossible to hit the block you’re aiming for! I am sorry but I have 4 other tap blocks games and they all have their drawbacks (mostly due to disruptive ads, overly aggressive ads etc….some are just not challenging enough except so every so many games they will pop you a very challenging block. Point is ALL OF Them are before your game in the playing que! I am more willing to suffer ads than suffer drift!! I almost deleted you and was going to give you 1 star. I am giving you a not so very long chance to correct this and become the level 5 game you have the potential to be (with A’s in no aggressive/disruptive ads and interesting and challenging puzzles) If the drift continues unchecked you will get 1 star and deleted as an unfairly unplayable game
This game is challenging but doesn’t take a lot of heavy thinking. My only complaint is that sometimes a game takes a long time to solve, 30 minutes or more. In those cases, one can’t fit a game into the time in a waiting room, or while TV commercials are playing, or waiting for water to boil. Two features I appreciate the most: 1. The game isn’t overwhelmed with ads. 2. I can continue listening to an audiobook while I play. (The 2D version, Block Escape, plays long ads about every 30 seconds and shuts off the sound on audiobooks. Both are extremely annoying.)
This is one of the best arrow block games… when you get to play it. Starting out wasn’t bad but it has gotten progressively worse. They have arbitrary “progress points” where you have to watch an ad, except these days half the time it’s two ads. Recently they have added 5 second pop up adds all through the game play (subliminal?). You spend more time suffering through ads than you do playing the game. When they don’t have a lot of ads available, you can view the same ad over and over and over. Maybe watch 4 or 5 times in the same game. You can opt out of ads for a subscription of $10/mo. There are premium apps and streaming services I can get for less than that. Even if I had the money, which I don’t, I would spend the $120/yr on something better than this game. To me they come across as arrogant and greedy.
This version of Block Out could be five stars so easily. But the ads are too intrusive. The game forces you to watch an ad: * in the middle of gameplay * Right before you’re about to finish the puzzle (the most irritating stop of all!) * Every time you reach the next goal (which is an undefined number of moves) * Every few minutes whether or not you just finished watching an ad * Every time you click on Continue, with no option to buy extre I know that the developers need to eat, maybe even pay rent from time to time. So I’d happily buy this game up front. I’d even be willing to pay a monthly fee. But $9.99 per month is too much (IMHO). Minus the hostage system, I really like this game. But I am so annoyed by the constant barrage of stops that I’m going to delete it right after I submit this review. I just started playing so it’s possible that I haven’t been able to find these features yet. I’d like to: * see the number of perfect moves displayed next to the number of moves I’ve made so far. * be able to pick the level of difficulty * be able to purchase or earn tools to break up irritating tiles * be able to purchase additional time * I did find the store where you can buy coins, but I don’t see anything to spend them on
I am enjoying the game and it’s more challenging than the tap out game I was playing. However while the dots are large and easy to see, the arrows are small and difficult to tell what direction they’re pointing especially when the blocks are a light color. When I blow it up to see them better I make mistakes because of the blocks that are off screen. This seems like an easy fix, just please make the arrows as bold and large as the dots. Thank you!
The game is fine and engaging for my kids as well that love spacial awareness games HOWEVER it’s impossible to make it through a single game without it crashing my phone. I’ve never had my phone freeze before but this game does it. I have to turn it off and back on, close out of the blinking spastic game, and reopen it to keep playing. It will hopefully let me finish the level but more times than not, it will inevitably crash again. It’s really not worth the hassle once you get in higher levels. The idea that they are asking for a 9.99 month subscription for being ad-less is absurd. Work on fixing the game first!
hi love the games. very engaging and challenging. i did notice the ads increase as one gets closer to the end of the game. also noticed if one must leave the game after the midway point, there is a challenge to get back in: it says there are no ads available. come back later. sometimes doing that, it opens the game. it also offers the option to restart. not always the desired outcome when the game is nearly finished. Q????? is there another way to get back into the game? sometimes it will open the game anyway. but mostly it stays closed unless you restart. which can lead to frustration. any suggestions, (other than finish the game all at once), would be appreciated. thank you for a great game. 🌈 and keep fixing those ‘bugs’.
I can play this game for hours but I’m so frustrated there’s no way to pay and get rid of ads. I hate having so many ads. It takes a lot for me to spend money on a game but this one I would if I could get rid of ads! Anyone know a game that’s as good as this one that we can purchase?? I’ve downloaded 10+ apps to try and compare and none are this good. I just want to get rid of the ads
