Fixed a bug in Battle of the Atlantic mode where purchasing a G,H Class destroyer could corrupt save game data.
Increased resilience of North Carolina Class Battleship.
Fixed Nelson Class secondary gun turret alignments.
Atlantic Fleet is a stunningly detailed naval warfare simulator. It perfectly bridges the gap between a casual game and a hardcore sim. The turn-based movement allows for tactical planning, while the manual aiming of the guns provides a rewarding skill ceiling. Watching a salvo from the Bismarck straddle a British cruiser is incredibly cinematic.
The historical accuracy is top-notch, featuring almost every major ship of the Atlantic Theater. The dynamic campaign mode is where the game truly shines, as you manage your fleet's repairs and movements across the ocean. It’s a slow-burn game that rewards patience and a basic understanding of ballistics. Easily the best naval combat game on mobile.
63 individual ship classes and 350+ ships
Realistic buoyancy and damage modeling
Full 3D graphics and underwater views
Dynamic campaign and historical missions
No in-app purchases
Use the 'Bracketing' method. Fire your first shot long, the second short, and then split the difference to find the target's exact range.
Manage your limited resources and fleet across the entire Atlantic map. Every ship lost is gone for good, so protect your capital ships at all costs.
No, this title focuses specifically on the Battle of the Atlantic. The Pacific Fleet is a separate title.
This game is pretty good for a mobile game. I play it on my MacBook Air because of the bigger screen. So far the Atlantic campaign is fun to play, it is difficult which adds to my interest. A verity of ships are at your disposal on both sides. I feel this could be even more though. Adding more British cruisers like the Aerithusa’s or C,D and E classes would be a nice touch. Germany is hard pressed for more warships though. My suggestion would be either have Vichy French ships or Italian Ships that also are playable for the German player. Some ships are inaccurate. Yes it’s a mobile game and is older but some models should be varied. York and Exeter were not in the same class. The County class had sub classes that looked different (IE London), not all L class destroyers had one launcher. Southampton and Edinburgh are technically in different classes aswell. I understand that this is a nitpick but it would be really cool to see the proper models in game that correspond with that ship’s name. 1 thing I hate are the air strikes. AA does not do anything whatsoever and it’s insane that all of the German ships can launch air strikes on my fleet. 6 strikes from 6 U-Boats really? Besides that this game is fun to play. I has decent graphics and has kept me interested longer than I expected.
It just needs some better graphics and stuff and more variations of ships like destroyers, battle ships etc are fun but what about actual gunboats witch I know were very small and mainly only had mgs but different kinds of ships would be nice and there already are a lot but most are of the same stuff like how there is a bunch of different cargo ships but some did have small defense turrets among other things, but it would be cool if you had mine layers for ASW stuff, and add mgs so you can damage crews of ships witch granted wouldn’t do much to like a battle ships crew but for like destroyers it could hinder ability’s like damaging the tower could hurt the crews and make them bad at the things you hurt witch there is already a system for that but, other ships like the huge craft they used in beach landing would be cool, or just make a game for modern stuff could work even though there would be a lot to do.
Now this game is fun but if has some really inconsistent gameplay, the AI don’t have to play by the point system & the fleet limit system, allowing the AI to mindlessly pump out U-boats that flood the entire map and makes any gameplay as the British really unpleasant really quickly! Also, the player can’t use any ports in Africa even though historically the UK were able to use numerous French & Canadian ports, it really makes the overall experience feel more so as a German victory simulator, it is super easy to get overwhelmed and and the player can’t really do anything to stop it since the player can’t effectively prevent the AI from flooding the map with U-Boats & destroyers. It would be cool that if you have Britain’s bar down by half they would surrender when France fell, and it would be cool if a smoke effect was added to the funnels of ships for a more realistic feel, or maybe ships can by chance, split in half when sinking via exploding, overall the game isn’t that bad, just needs some improvements to its balancing/AI, and the inconsistent damage, because sometimes a single torpedo could hit my British battleship and the battleship would sink to that one torpedo even though it hit in the center, the most armored part of the ship.
I know it sounds kind of outlandish, but adding German aircraft carriers to the game would be pretty cool. I know there were only about 4 that were never completed, but it was the same situation with the H39 class featured in-game that was supposed to field 6 ships, yet only 2 are usable. Plus, being able to incorporate German aircraft like the BF-109 that cannot be found in-game would be cool as a carrier fighter option as well as the ability for TBF avengers on American carriers to carry torpedos. Also, some ships on both sides have floatplanes that aren’t able to be used at all. It’d be cool if you could use up 1 turn launching a floatplane that would add like a 20% buff to rangefinder accuracy once in the air, and also the ability for them to carry a couple small bombs on them. Also, more American ships like the Fletcher class of destroyers that also helped escort convoys as far as Iceland in WW2. These are just some suggestions I had in mind, but I feel that they’d add more fun content and abilities to the game that’s make at a bit more enjoyable.
I get that the Germans are outnumbered and all that, but the disparity between their ships and contemporary Allied ships is huge. I have stuck 6 aerial torpedoes in a pocket battleship before it sank all while it pounded my carrier, and put two 21” torpedoes in an AMC and she still didn’t sink while I lose cruisers to just one torpedo. The British cruisers get curbstomped by the German ones even when I hit them more because the German ships, especially in turrets, play like they’re well armored whereas the British ones seem to be made out of cardboard. Another thing that is a really bad feature is the rangefinding. I have been hit badly first turn at 20,000 yards (long range!!) which essentially decided the battle before it began. Meanwhile, I have to either guess the range or follow the inconsistent at best guess the game gives me. Subs also spawn way too close, I’ve had battleships and carriers I spent half a year in BoA mode saving for torped by a sub that spawned close enough for the torpedoes to hit the same turn they were fired. Overall super biased towards the Germans when in reality the British ships are pretty equal, not to mention some really demoralizing gameplay at times.
I love this game so much but there’s some things that I need you to fix and this is going to be correct because I am a pretty much a big history nerd first of all The fritz X is a guided bomb also you need to add the graf Zeppelin it was actually built but right after it was sent to sea The crew abandoned it also can you please add during June 6, 1944 for the British there’s like a Normandy Landing mission for every ship in the Britain area where are you have to destroy the coastal defenses also for The ships if the shells hit right under the gun of the ship could like the magazine explode and then the ship sinks because some famous ships actually got destroyed because the magazine exploding like the hood so can you please add all of this and I will never stop playing this game please just please add all this or some of this just please at least add one thing
Not bad but the AI is much better than user abilities. Ranging is way off and AI has much better accuracy than users. Some battle ships take a ton of shells to sink. 50+ hits. AI seems to have better maneuverability and their moves take them farther than user. The bombing and rockets from planes is a complete joke of course unless it is AI then it is deadly accurate. Submarines are a waste of time unless you are spawned close to your targets. Sub moves are very short compared to ships. If spawned too far away you will never get a good chance to launch torpedos. Torpedo range is also a joke unless AI. Almost every time torpedos get close to their target they disappear snd you wasted your torpedos. Also take way too long to reload torpedos. Most of the time the ships are out of range by the time your submarine reloads torpedoes. And it only reloads a couple at a time. The game is OK but after the first two or three missions it gets boring because nothing connects with its target.
Ok, maybe I’m just bad with technology, but I only have 6,000 Renown (the in game currency to those reading). The least expensive ship is 45,000! I thought: Oh, maybe I had a submarine like in Pacific Fleet? Nope! I have to buy a 45,000 Renown ship with only 6,000 Renown and NO SHIP! How am I supposed to earn money without any means?! I tapped THE WHOLE FLIPPING SCREEN. There were 3 buttons. The button that brought up some sort of ship catalog of all of the ships I cannot afford, the button that relinquishes all ships under my command (wish I even had one), and the exit button to go to the previous screen. I was so fed up I just tapped every single pixel. Maybe there was an invisible button? I mean after tapping every single button, word, or hyperlink, tapping everything that’s not a button or word or hyperlink seems like a good idea. I’m fed up and maybe there’s a simple solution but for the life of me I can’t find it, there’s this little while circle in the middle of the screen for campaign but it doesn’t do crap!

"It really has too much detail and logic to be dismissed as an arcade game.
