This Sengoku-era strategy card game is a deep dive into Japanese history, focusing on the tactical deployment of legendary generals. It’s a game of 'counters'—knowing which unit types are strong against others and when to unleash your general's special abilities. The artwork is stunning, capturing the traditional 'ukiyo-e' style with a modern, high-definition polish.
What I find most compelling is the deck-building aspect. You aren't just collecting cards; you're building a balanced army. The 'progression' mentioned in the title refers to how your generals can be promoted and evolved, gaining new tactical options. It’s a slow-burn strategy game that rewards patience and a deep understanding of the meta. If you enjoy historical warfare and complex CCGs, this is a very rewarding experience.
Authentic Sengoku-era artwork
Hundreds of historical general cards
Complex tactical combat system
Global PvP and Clan Wars
Cavalry beats Archers, Archers beat Spearmen, and Spearmen beat Cavalry. Always scout your opponent's front line before committing your high-cost General cards.
Use duplicate cards to promote your generals. A promoted 3-star general is often more effective than a base 5-star general due to their lower deployment cost.
The interface primarily supports Chinese and Japanese, but the icons and mechanics are intuitive for experienced CCG players.
