The Longest Drift is a moody, atmospheric racing game that is more about finesse than raw speed. The physics-based drifting feels weighty and satisfying, demanding that you learn the nuances of every turn. It’s a minimalist experience, but the art style and the synth-heavy soundtrack create a vibe that’s hard to put down.
The progression feels fair, with new cars and upgrades providing tangible benefits as the tracks get progressively more treacherous. It’s less about a crowded finish line and more about the personal challenge of maintaining a perfect line. If you enjoy games like Absolute Drift, this is a fantastic mobile equivalent.
Unique physics-based drifting

Challenging environmental obstacles
Don't over-steer. Drifting in this game is all about counter-steering at the right moment to maintain your angle without spinning out.
Balance your engine power and tire grip. Too much power makes the car slide uncontrollably, while too much grip prevents you from initiating the drift.
Yes, the game supports MFi controllers for more precise steering control.
Would be nice to have a drift school or something similar to get hold of controls. Right now i have no clue what im doing. If i hold two fingers on screen it starts spiraling like inside a tornado
I wanted to love this game! Saw it on TouchArcade and instantly preordered it. I agree with the reviewer who said a tutorial might help. The controls are frustrating at first and I’ve had to restart probably 8-10 times in the first 15 minutes playing this (I’ve played racing/drifting games for 20+ years!) There are also numerous typos in the clues. UPDATE: okay played a bit more and still mixed. The frame rate drops to ~10fps every 20-30 seconds which is frustrating (running iOS 14.2 on iPhone X). The music is good though!
When the car spins out its too difficult to bring back on the path. Wish I could control the speed for a limited time like braking every now and then would’ve been awesome.
