Our Expert Score

72/100

iSays Memory Game is a crisp, modern take on the classic 'Simon' pattern-matching formula. In an era of overly complex games, iSays is a refreshing reminder that the simplest concepts are often the most effective for brain training. The interface is clean and high-contrast, which is essential for a game that relies so heavily on visual and auditory cues. The speed increases at a perfect rate, pushing your short-term memory to its limits without feeling unfair.

What sets this apart from other clones is the 'Pro' feel of the presentation. The sounds are melodic rather than abrasive, and the feedback when you hit a high score is genuinely rewarding. It’s the perfect 'waiting room' game—easy to jump into for sixty seconds, but compelling enough to make you want to beat your previous record. While it doesn't break the mold of the memory genre, it executes the fundamentals with a level of polish that makes it one of the better options on the store.

Good, but a little minimal

It’s a good app, fun I play it regularly. The only bug I have encountered is that the sound doesn’t work(I’ve experienced this in my other apps so it might just be my phone) but that doesn’t take away from the experience so that doesn’t bug me too much. My only complaint is that it doesn’t have that much going on, maybe a few more aspects, like, multiple games at once, different Simons, or even characters. Overall it’s a good game, just not super interesting.

Good for stroke recovery?

Wow; This is an awesome game! It is a classic twist on "Simon Says." Unlike the old version, this one is so much more exciting: Featuring High Definition, Piano sounds, a beautiful icon and addictiveness! So before you pull out your pocket sized Simon Says, download this and you shall not regret it!

Best "Simon" app out there

Very happy with this update. They addressed the issue of sound being too soft. Now it is crisp and clear. Offers a variety of sounds now too...my favorite is the marimba! Speed is also adjustable. Well done!

Better than the original "Simon."
