Game-of-the-Day (GOTD): Each day, WordXing now features a new Game-of-the-Day, where everyone who plays the GOTD gets the same set of random letters. So, players can now challenge friends to get the best score on the WordXing GOTD.
Head-to-Head Play: If you and your friends start the same WordXing game on each of your devices at the same time, each player will get the same set of random letters to play. So, friends can now challenge each other in the moment with simultaneous, head-to-head games to see who is the best WordXing player.
Share Scores: When reviewing a completed game, you can now share an annotated screenshot of your highlighted score. If you share your GOTD score on the same day you played the GOTD, your score will be shared but the letters will be hidden. This way you can share your GOTD score but not show how you got your score.
And... a minor bug fix.
Wordxing is a refreshing take on the word puzzle genre that prioritizes minimalism and flow over flashy microtransactions. The interface is clean, allowing the focus to remain entirely on the letter-swapping mechanics. It feels like a cross between a traditional crossword and a sliding tile puzzle, demanding both vocabulary skills and spatial reasoning.
The difficulty curve is well-pitched; the early levels serve as a gentle introduction, while the later stages require genuine strategy to clear the board in the allotted moves. My only gripe is that the soundtrack can get repetitive during long sessions, but for a quick mental workout on a commute, Wordxing is an excellent choice for word smiths.
Minimalist and clean UI design
Hundreds of unique word-based levels
No time pressure - play at your own pace
Increasing difficulty to test your vocabulary
Swipe to move letter tiles across the grid. Your goal is to align them to form valid words. Once a word is formed, the tiles will highlight—tap to confirm and clear them from the board.
Players must plan their moves carefully, as clearing one word might shift the remaining letters into positions that make the next word impossible to find.
Most levels are untimed, allowing you to focus on the logic and strategy of the puzzle without stress.
Imagine you can take Scrabble with you anywhere and play a satisfying game in just 2 minutes. The short time setting is good for killing a few minutes waiting for your coffee order. The long one makes time fly by when you’re on a plane. It’s easy to get started and hard to stop playing this game. In many languages for word game lovers everywhere.
WordXing is a creative, brilliant, fast-paced word game! I love it. You can compete with yourself or others. It has far surpassed my passion for Words With Friends. WordXing is so addictive, my husband has taken a back seat! 😉
