Winpoker is widely considered the gold standard for Video Poker trainers. If you're looking for a flashy casino game with flashing lights and fake coins, this isn't it. This is a serious tool for serious players who want to perfect their strategy for the casino floor.
The app's ability to analyze every hand and tell you exactly what the 'mathematically correct' hold should be is invaluable. It covers almost every major variant you'd find in Vegas—Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild, etc. The interface is utilitarian, which is exactly what you want when you're grinding out hands to build muscle memory. It has paid for itself ten times over by preventing me from making costly mistakes at actual machines.

Very educational!
Thu Mar 14 2019 hpopkacI just purchased this app yesterday, so have not used it a lot yet. I thought I was a pretty good VP player, but just from playing a short time, I can tell that I will learn a lot from this app! I like that it has all my favorite poker games, and that you can play them multi-hand too. My only ‘complaint’ would be that it is an iPhone app, and I mostly play on my iPad. There is a button in the top left hand corner apparently to enlarge it on an iPad, but the button doesn’t work! So its kind of a bummer that I have to play it when its phone sized on my iPad. Would be nice to get that button fixed, or offer it as an iPad app.
Best App to learn the game
Sun Mar 24 2024 VPplayer422This app is absolutely great. It allows you to create other versions of popular games in all casinos that offer these games. Has changed my gaming in casinos all over the country. Every advantage player should be using this app to become proficient in video poker. When your edge against the casino is reduced to a few percentage points, the wins will pile up for the player. It’s has changed my gambling habits and has generated more wins than I could have imagined. The only issue is that it doesn’t have some of the newer games like Ultimate X but I assume those variations are trademarked to some extent. Single hand games have a higher payout for players in the end without the exposure to large up front costs with multiple hands with multipliers that cost extra.
Excellent tool to improve your play

App can fine tune your play to as close to perfect play as possible which is what you want if you play at casinos for real money. And gives what your errors would have cost you over the long haul if playing at a casino. App does allow you to set pay tables to any amount you like or play the preset pay tables which are I believe full pay tables for the different video poker games out there. You get a lot for just $10. Simple graphics, but with app correcting your mistakes on holds makes it worth it. Especially being able to select specific cards in a hand to see what correct hold would have been if dealt that specific hand. They do need to allow app to adjust sound as I use it on mute due to volume being only on high. Other than them updating the sound volume they might consider updating the app for different sounds on such as hitting quads. In Double Double Bonus & Triple Double Bonus quad 2s, 3s, 4s, & Aces(and with kickers) in a real casino sound different compared to others.
What a great App!
Thu Jun 18 2015 Juggle Rat$10 and well worth it!! I didn't have super high hopes when I got this App, but it has been great. You always have your phone on you, so you always have this training tool on hand when you want to practice your favorite VP game. I have had the training software on my computer before, but then you have to purchase it again when you get a new computer. This App should carry over when I upgrade phones. They seem to have all (or most) of the VP games. The games are set to the full pay level (so, for example, you can't practice 7/5 JoB), at least i have not seen a way to adjust the pay tables. I have been playing non-stop since I got it.

It tracks your errors so you can monitor your improvement. You can cheat and get info for your hand: it will list all possible holds for a given hand, sorted by expected return. Stable and nimble on my iPhone6. Of course no ads or in-app purchase annoyances. Look no further if you want a video poker app that’s fun and will improve your game: this is the one.

Thu Mar 31 2022 9/6 JOB playerJust bought this for my iPhone. It’s a wonderful app. Very well designed and fun to use. My only question is if it uses the same random number generator as the casino machines. I play the 9/6 Jacks or Better game and seem to do extremely well. I’m not sure if this is just good luck or if the program is written to be more generous than the casino games. I have emailed the Zamzow to ask about this. Hope to hear back from them.
The best trainer available
Thu Oct 30 2014 LinFromNJSimply the best video poker trainer out there. And the HD version is awesome for the iPad. If you play any video poker at all this app is a must. Forget the cost, this app will more than pay for itself in better results in the casino. It comes with a lot of pre-installed games and you can also add pay tables of other games. There also are multi-hand options. This one of the original PC video poker trainers that has been adapted to mobile devices and it still is the best.
Super learning app

This is a realistic video poker game that also warns you when you are about to make a bad hold. It works perfect on my iPhone 5s and my iPad. I have learned so much , l am sure I will lose much less at the casinos. Buy it, you will not regret it..
