The brand-new version of the game has been released.
In the new version, you can enjoy an easier coloring experience.
- General optimizations.
- Bug fixes.
Vita Color for Seniors is a triumph of inclusive design. It takes the popular color-by-number genre and carefully tailors it for mature players who might struggle with the small icons and hectic timers of other apps. The interface is remarkably clean, featuring high-contrast visuals, extra-large touch targets, and a 'Smart Zoom' that makes finding the smallest sections a breeze.
The library of images is curated with dignity—expect beautiful landscapes, classical art, and intricate floral patterns rather than the cartoonish graphics found elsewhere. The coloring experience is fluid and meditative, providing a genuine sense of artistic accomplishment. It’s not just a game; it’s a therapeutic tool that respects its audience's intelligence while accommodating their physiological needs. It is easily the best digital coloring book for anyone looking for a high-quality, accessible relaxation tool.
High-contrast, senior-friendly UI
Exclusive large-print numbers
Curated library of 10,000+ images
Daily relaxation challenges
If you are having trouble seeing a specific number, tap and hold the magnifying glass icon at the bottom. This will highlight all remaining areas of that color with a pulsing outline, making it much easier to complete complex patterns without frustration.
For players who prefer a faster experience, the 'Magic Brush' can be used to fill in a large area of the same color with a single tap. This is great for completing backgrounds and focusing your energy on the more detailed central parts of the image.
Yes, you can save any finished coloring page to your photo gallery, allowing you to share it with family or print it out.
I like the game. I think it is a good game however I wish the colors would be not so lumped together especially on the mandala one. To me they don’t use more colors allot of the colors are so similar to each Other that makes it dull. I also wish some one could make a color game that you could pick what colors that we think would make the pictures better or have an option to color it yourself so we can use are creative artistic side too. I like to pick my own colors personally! It’s gotten better but still you need to space colors out more. You have to many of the same colors mushed together probably just my perspective but still wish there was more distinction in the colors. Like throw a few purples in between the blues or reds even. Or a blue in between a green or yellow as a person doing the coloring having all reds or any color bunched together if it’s not a picture that needs such a thing it kind of makes the pictures bland. I still think you should provide pictures people can chose their own colors then you could compare them to the original ones and have people vote on them too.
ETA: all of the complaints I had have been resolved. I found the the setting that automatically selects the next next color once a color has been completed and I love the addition of the addition of the seasonal/holiday categories. THANK YOU! I have two coloring apps. I am really enjoying Vita Color & have since downloaded several other Vita games. The pictures are very nice. I do, however, have two minor complaints. 1) I wish, once a color has been completed, the next color was automatically selected instead of having to manually select it. 2) I would like to have a “seasonal “ (winter, spring, summer, fall) category similar to the other coloring app I use. While I like the available images, it would be so nice to be able to have fall pictures to color at this time of year. I’ve started coloring a few pictures thinking they were fall colors but they turned out to be spring colors. Right now I’d like flowers, harvests, mountains, interiors, houses/cabins, lakes, settings, etc with fall colors. Same with the other seasons. Otherwise this is a great app for us seniors with aging eyes! Thank you for providing this!
I have downloaded many game and deleted them. However, this game has so many beautiful relaxing sceneries from landscape, family to animals and so much more. Their not lying when they say a relaxing color experience. You can enlarge the pictures when painting which is GREAT if you have problem seeing like myself. I have painted over 2,000 pics., LOL! It relieves stress because you can get caught up in painting. They even add 99+ hints to help you find the spot if you missed any. It has stayed 99+ when I have click on more than 3-4 times because I press 99+ to keep it high just in case I can’t find the spot easily, it add on the more you click on it for help even though it takes you to commercials and you have the if you choose. You don’t have to wait a long time for new pics to be added either. If you have tried it, try it can’t hurt! THANK YOU VITA COLORING FOR SENIORS!
Mom has poor eyesight along with macular degeneration. When she asked me to download this app I was hesitant because I was sure it would aggravate her. But she loves it! She colors daily and becomes so excited when she completes a picture. The ability to enlarge the picture and the numbers within the picture is very helpful. Things to consider for seniors with macular generation, their eyesight can be very spotty and enlargement of icons, words / numbers and lettering becomes essential. Mom cannot always find the picture she had been working on when the app needs to be reopened - wording too small at bottom of screen. Also the “x”. Or arrows that must be touched to close the screen in commercials is very very difficult for her to find because they are so small. Also consider enlarging numbers in the color ledger at the bottom of the picture. Overall good job.
I have had this game ever since I got my iPad, nearly a year ago! I absolutely love it, no other coloring programs even come close! But since this last update, IN MID-COLOR, it continuously automatically takes you to the candy crush add, and then freezes up!! or now it’s not even going to the candy crush ad first it just freezes up! I have to completely shut down my iPad and go back into the game. It’s done it AT LEAST 4-5 times, just to finish 1 picture. At first, I thought I had a virus somehow on my iPad. But now I see that other people are having the same problem. If you don’t get an update to fix this problem soon, I’m going to delete the app!!! Which really bums me because I really really like this app compared to a lot of the others!
This Vita Color is just wonderful. It gives me great joy to see the beautiful flowers & scenery developing right in front of me. The cute cartoon type pictures remind me of Disney movies I went to as a child. There are so many of the places that I color in and think about how it would be to be there enjoying my time with my family and friends. The pictures of the children make me wish I could be with my grandchildren and great grandchildren as they grow up doing the activities the puzzles show. We live many miles from our children and their families. Whenever I see a picture in Vita Color of a tractor, farm or car, I have my husband do those. He grew up on a ranch and misses them. They take him down memory lane. I really like Vita Color’s pictures of a peaceful lake with a boat or canoe on it, a cabin, someone sitting on a dock or an empty park bench. They are so inviting and I get to paint them in as if I am watching them happen. Thank you! Lynette A
I love working on the Vita Cilor pictures. They are all are a beautiful selection of pictures, but my preferences are flowers, birds, butterflies and beautiful mountainous scenes with some water landscaping. Even if you do not post pictures of flowers, I’ll color any floral arrangement only in the picture. Right now that we’re in the spring season, I thought you would have more floral pictures. The only exception of flowers that I have are lilies because they remind me of death. I will not color them. Other than that I dearly love working on Vita Color. Thank you more than anything for allowing it to be used free because of a senior of 79 on a fixed income. Thank you again for your generosity and your beautiful scenic pictures. Thank you a million. Love you for that !!!!!!
The thing I hate is your ads for other games that run too long and you can’t escape them. A person knows within seconds whether they want them or not. I personally don’t want any of them but have to continue watching many of them until the end so I can finish the picture. I like most of the pictures but don’t like the ones with the big crescent moon with the star just to the right side. I like fantasy ones. How do you get rid of the ones you have done and don’t want to keep. No where do I find a way There be away to remove unwanted pictures that are in My Work. I have two unwanted ones I still find the removal of unwanted pictures unduly annoying. I also use another site and with them all I have to do is click on the back arrow and it’s gone. Yours should be that easy too.
