Virtual Families 3: Our Country Home continues the series' tradition of being the 'lite' alternative to The Sims, focused more on lineage and long-term care. You adopt a 'little person' from thousands of combinations and help them renovate a fixer-upper house, find a career, and start a family. The game runs in real-time, meaning your family continues to live even when you aren't playing.

The third entry introduces significantly more customization for the house and grounds, though it maintains the series' characteristic difficulty in earning coins. It’s a game of patience—praising your family for good behavior and checking in to ensure they are fed and healthy. While the UI can occasionally feel cluttered, the sense of attachment you develop to your family over several generations is genuine. It’s a slow-burn simulation that rewards consistent, nurturing play.

I love the game all I want is more household objects

I love this game it’s something I’ve played since I was a child and it’s improved greatly since I know you’ve been working to give us multiple family trips but I would love to see items that are permanently in the store and limited time purchase the space set was one of my favorites and I think always will be matching sets are extremely nice to receive more color and decor would also be appreciated the snow globe, ski shoes, Santa’s cookies, the folded towels, fish in a jar, rainbow painted rock etc are all examples of little things I would love to see more of especially the ski shoes in different colors I love trips but I would love to see more diversity in the items each time even if it’s just colors yellow would be a color I would love to see more of extra items I would love to see are more curtains,rugs,paintings not by kids, tv remote, plants, small radios, toys for kids, cd or tv stack, bowls and plates,more desks and chairs, something I would do almost anything for would be more table lamps,standing lamps AND CANDLES I use them outside my home to see 🤣🤣if that kinda gives the idea and then honestly clothes and hairstyles for our every day family i absolutely love the game and will continue to play but I would love to see more things I can use to make a cozy family and if there’s one feature that I could change it would be a rotational menu of people to marry like you don’t just automatically accept or reject them you can go through all of your options and then decide if you wanna accept a decline after deciding

I’ve been playing VF for many many years. It’s a nice game but it can get repetitive. I wish there was more to do within the game. Upgrading the house and upgrading the resort is all there is. It would be nice if we could actually send them to the store instead of just buying from the store button. It would be cool if we actually sent the kids to school during the day and we could go visit them when they went to college. I think a first person POV option would be cool too. There’s a lot of potential for this game to be a lot better than it is now. We should be able to visit neighbors, visit family, actually go places instead of only to the resort. Maybe with the first person POV we’re able to do more for the family. Pick up trash instead of dragging one of the members to do it. We could cook the meals and follow recipes and serve it to them instead of dragging one of the members to the table. Be able to take the kids to the doctor, the park, the mall, anywhere. Be able to see neighboring houses and visit them. Also for the babies, I wish there was more to do with them. We should be able to put them down instead of carrying them (so maybe adding a crib option that we could buy). With first person POV we could help with the baby, changing the baby, feeding it and bathing it. I know this is long but there’s so much this game could and should be able to do. It would be nice to see something new and different as VF has been the same for so long.

I absolutely love this game. I’ve been playing Virtual Families 2 for as long as I can remember, so I was very excited for this new game! I do have a few complaints/suggestions. If I leave the app and don’t completely exit out of it, I get an error message when I try to reopen it. So to fix this I have to completely exit the app on my device by swiping it out of the open tabs frame, and then I can play again. It’s also INCREDIBLY hard to earn coins. I like how the collectibles are worth a good amount and I like the “watch videos” option, but it’s still hard. I don’t like how when it’s time to look through marriage options, I can’t go back after I skip over someone. I didn’t realize I wouldn’t be able to go back the first time, and missed out on good options. I like how the characters are diverse, but I wish there was more of a variety. I had 6 kids and 4 looked exactly the same. I also wish there was more variety in the furniture. There’s a lot of furniture from the first game, and I wish there were more types and COLOR options. I like games that I can spend about 30 minutes to an hour on, but this game makes that difficult. There’s not much to do after making sure all the characters are taken care of. But overall, I really like the game! I also forgot to add in that it can be frustrating to have to perfectly place characters on collectibles in order to grab them. I wish they didn’t have to be placed DIRECTLY on top, because it’s hard to do.

I have looked forward to this for a long time! I have the older game on all my Kindles and phone and enjoy them! This one is impossible unless you can spend lots of money! Every day things tear up in the house requiring you to spend lots of what you earn daily! Things cost more to purchase , no way will you be able to buy furniture and keep the house repaired much less fix the rooms or purchase furniture! If you can’t spend the money to buy a huge amount of coins you’re stuck! I can’t so I’m going to have to delete this, sadly! I Strongly encourage you to pass it up if you can’t buy lots of coins since you can’t earn enough! You are even limited to watching only 1 videos to earn coins ! I am sad for sure! Virtual Family has been a source of relaxation and enjoyment for me over the years , I’ll just have to keep up with the old one! And I kept it anyway , now it keeps closing out after I’ve worked hard to get the house fixed! There definitely needs to be less problems that require “repairing “ 1 to more often 2 to 3 times a day it cost to fix pluming, computer, internet and things around the house! It cost hundreds to repair daily! Also , you are required to buy meds and get drs orders for meds sometimes several times a day! Frustrating!Help, update, I stayed and kept play, now the price of adoption has jumped from 4,000 dollars to 15,000! You guys have so many loyal people who really enjoy this , please fix the problems since other people are having other glitches! Thanks

Great game, but a few suggestions

I love this game. I think that it is a lot better than the other virtual families games. A lot of stereotypes were fixed. They added a lot more diversity and people of color. I also love same sex marriages. Both of the adults are able to carry he baby. Now I can actually have my women progress in her career. Finally, when you buy a car and kitchen set, it just says that they are driving and cooking like a grownup. Some things that I would like to change though, would be the ghost girl. I fell like there is not a storyline for her and she just shows up. Lately I haven’t even been looking at what she is doing because I know that it will be the same thing. Another thing that I think should change is all of the malfunctions that happen in the house. I bought a tool box and fire extinguisher, but I still have to spend at least $1000 a week on malfunctions alone. And that leads me to my next problem. I think that the parent don’t make nearly enough money to pay for everything in this house. I am almost always broke to the point where I cannot even afford to buy groceries and medicine. I know that everyone is going to say that I should just watch ads but usually I can’t. I only get some ads once a week and even if I watch them nonstop I only make $4000 - $5000. Overall i think that this game is fun and enjoyable and I am glad that the game makers fixed some of the problems that happened in the last one.

I love everything about this game. Literally everything, I’ve been playing since I was little. But one thing I think needs changing is babies in general. IM TALKING A WHOLE BABY UPDATE!! The only things we can do with babies are pass them off to the other spouse, which is an upgrade from the first and second game, but i feel babies haven’t gotten enough love. I’m talking cribs, so that neither one of the parents has to hold the baby and they can do stuff with their other kids, (I understand they still can with the baby in their hands, but just to add to the gameplay) and so that both can work at the same time because u can’t work while holding a baby. Also, I feel that teens like 14/15 and up should be able to hold and care for the babies as well, it’ll be nice to see the family interacting all together because if two parents have a baby, their other kids celebrate, then go off and do what they want to do. There’s no family love for the babies in my opinion. Also maybe like baby toys and swaddles where u can place the parent with the child over and they can do interactions with the baby on the toy. (Should also work for teens if they have the baby as well) I feel like these changes, and the ones you can think of as well, will make gameplay SO MUCH BETTER. I won’t dread having to wait for the baby to age up to two so I can actually do things with them. I want to be able to do it right after the action “Trying to have a baby” LOL 😂😂 ‼️‼️PLEASE RESPOND‼️‼️

Good game, still some issues

I loved playing virtual families 2, and it’s always been one of my favorite mobile games. So far everything has been going pretty smoothly other than some minor bugs, like people and pets walking through walls. One thing that has bothered me a lot though, and the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars, was that I bought a dog recently, (not sure if there are any problems with the other dogs, I’ve only bought the beagle, so maybe the problem is just with the beagles?) and all my dog does is bark. At first, the only action he did was bark at the tv, which I tried discouraging over and over again, but his happiness was going down, so I removed the tv. Now all he does is “bark excitedly”. I also have a hamster and a cat and none of them get stuck doing one action. I’ve tried picking him up and setting him down again, and still all he does is bark excitedly. I have to set him down on the bed to get a break from the barking, but I’m going to be upset if I have to get rid of him if he can’t stop only barking. I purchased the obedience school for him too and this did nothing. I’d like to have dogs in this game, but I’m afraid they’ll do the same thing as my beagle and I’ll just be wasting my coins. Update: I had to get rid of the dog after everything bc it still would not stop “barking excitedly”. Got another cat and now it’s doing the same thing too, is this happening to anyone else?

I am an avid Virtual family player. Been playing virtual families, villagers, tycoon, all the games for as long as they’ve been out. With that being said, the added upgrades being all the home upgrades, the resort, the trips that come up to take your family on. I think they’re all great. I’ve come so far that every new generation I start, my old ones have to delete. I can’t upgrade the house any more or gardens, everything is bought. Almost all of the achievements I have completed. I really play to pass time no longer for enjoyment and I was thinking of some fun things that the game could try to incorporate. The kids leave the house for school between 18-20 but what about school before? Make a “go to school” like you can go to the resort. You can send them to boarding school, but I’d like it if you sent them, you become the child and actually go away to boarding for awhile and you get to leave when you choose. The meals, i wish you could have like a dessert option, families can play family games. With pets I think there’s a lot more you can add, with more pet kinds and activities to do, like walking them, actually going to the vet. I feel like all of the things for you to do have honestly stayed the same over the years, things have been added yes but it’s been a long time for a big update. Hoping one will come soon. Also hoping, we can adopt twins and triplets(for the same large cost of $4000).
