Minor improvements and bug fixes.
Ultimate Chicken Horse is a masterclass in 'chaos design.' The premise is simple: you want to reach the goal, but you also want your friends to fail miserably. The transition to mobile hasn't lost any of the frantic energy that made the original a cult hit. Building the level piece-by-piece between rounds creates a hilarious arms race where the stage eventually becomes a deathtrap of spinning saws, crossbows, and black holes.
The touch controls are surprisingly responsive, though the game truly shines when you're using a controller. The cross-play functionality is the real hero here, allowing you to ruin friendships across PC, console, and mobile seamlessly. It's one of the few games that remains genuinely funny even when you lose, largely due to the absurd physics and the 'Party Box' mechanics that can turn a simple jump into a harrowing gauntlet. If you have friends and a mean streak, this is an essential download.

Cross-platform Play
Don't make the start of the level impossible. Wait until near the end to place a 'Punching Plant'—it's much more frustrating when they almost win!
You get extra points for being the only one to finish, or for being the first to cross. Use 'Glue' to make your friends' jumps harder while keeping yours safe.
Yes, Ultimate Chicken Horse features full cross-play across all available platforms.
As someone who’s been playing this game on my Nintendo switch for years before this came out on mobile, the reviews of this game really ticks me off. 1) this is a mobile port of a console/pc game. You shouldn’t expect those to be free unless they are free on other platforms or cheap enough to cut the price by introducing secondary monetization(such as among us with ads). 2)the reason this game is free on the App Store is because (as explicitly stated in the description) a demo for people who want to try it out (such as Mario run) 3) for an indie console/pc game (with actual effort put into it as opposed to some slop you sometimes find) $15 is usually expected. This game is $10 (which I’m pretty sure is $15 on other ports). This game is not overpriced. It’s just more suited for generally more expensive markets with (along with the price) higher quality games. 4)this game is not made by noodlecake. It’s made by clever endeavor. It’s published by noodlecake. 5) despite constant complaints about the price, I can guarantee you’ve spent more in microtransactions. This is because those games force small features up your throat little by little via minor purchases. 6) Premium (which admittedly is poor wording on the developer’s part) is not a subscription. I haven’t seen anyone say that it is, but the wording of it would imply that it is. As for the game, this is an endlessly replayable platformer where you have to screw your friends without screwing yourself. Imagine Mario maker as a party game. The loads and loads of features (level creator, modes, courses, characters, skins [that don’t cost money], and even modifiers that change up gameplay) will keep you entertained for a millennia. The graphics and music are really good. 9\10, highly recommend
Hey Noodlecake, I preordered the game and was excited to play it, but when I clicked on the app to open it, I was stuck on the loading screen. I am using a 6th generation IPad(old I know), but it runs games perfectly fine. Do I need a SIM card in order to play, if so, can you please respond to this review saying what I need to do in order to play, even if that is getting a newer IPad. I rated this review 5 stars because that’s what I would have rated the game if I was able to play. Please respond to this review and help me be able to play the game. Thank you. 🙏
Dear developers, Hello I am Avery. I wanted to ask you for a favor, PLEASE. Me and my sister saw this game and REALLY wanted to play it because it looked SO FUN and I wanted to share with friends so we could play together! But me and my sister don’t have much money so we were thinking that if one of us bought it we could use the family sharing feature through Apple family and me and her would be have it 🤔 So I looked it up using google and it said that doing that would work! So we asked our dad and he bought it on his device, and we were SO excited, until we learned that family sharing wasn’t activated and that we wouldn’t be able to play unless a developer activated it. So I am just asking if maybe you would think about activating family sharing for the full app purchase?🥺🥲 (By the way the one star rating was just so you would hopefully see this. It’s really a five star app!)
First of all, it's pay to play, and honestly it's so good and fun, I would pay $20 for this. I really love the controller support as well, playing 4-player with 4 controllers on a single ipad. The only problem is the cursor. It’s way too big and makes it impossible to click anything on the left side of the screen with a controller. There needs to be a way to resize it or just make it smaller by default. Also, controllers have two major issues. The latency gets really bad sometimes, and if my controller disconnects, I have to restart the whole game just to go back to touch, and I can't switch between the two. That shouldn’t be a thing.
I have ultimate chicken horse on the console edition and I know that for most consoles you have to have a online subscription, the mobile however doesn’t have a subscription it just lets you pay once and done so i think I would get the premium instead of getting the console version, however this is hard since the controls are not as easy as on a console so I suppose the most part of the game is still fun but it is hard when you have to use the buttons and joystick.
So basically I saw somebody play this two months ago on computer and I wanted it so I looked up on my phone and there it was but it said pre-download downloaded it two months before hand and then once it finally came on mobile I was so excited the only thing I would give it to bump it down is that you can barely even play any of the actual game without buying premium
Hi, I love ultimate chicken horse, but I wish you didn’t have to pay for premium For everything zebra gamer is the reason I’m playing this and I wish you didn’t have to pay for premium for almost everything you could at least let us load one level and let us play it yours truly Jeff Bogli
You gotta add a feature so you can add randoms. You don’t even have to talk to them. I just wanna be able to add the people I play with so I can find them later. Maybe add a simple invite or notification system for that. Game would be an easy 5 stars if it had that, also I always randomly get disconnected no matter what connection I’m on. Not sure if it’s just me but it happens a lot.
