Welcome to the new players from all over the world: Ubongo can now be played in French, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean!
Ubongo is a fantastic adaptation of the board game. It captures the frantic energy of trying to fit those geometric pieces into the designated shape before the timer runs out. It’s essentially Tetris meets a speed puzzle, and it works brilliantly on a touch screen.
The 'World Safari' mode adds a nice layer of progression that the physical board game lacks. The puzzles start easy but get incredibly tricky as you have to use more complex pieces. It’s the kind of game that’s easy to pick up for a minute but very hard to put down once you get into a rhythm.
Based on the award-winning board game
Hundreds of unique levels
Multiple difficulty settings
Solo and Multiplayer modes
Start with the largest or most awkwardly shaped pieces first. Fitting smaller pieces into the remaining gaps is much easier than trying to find a spot for a large 'L' shape at the last second.
Drag and drop the pieces onto the puzzle board. You can tap pieces to rotate them. Once the board is completely filled with no overlaps, the level is complete.
Yes, the game features a multiplayer mode where you can challenge friends or random players to see who solves the puzzle first.
Very entertaining and thoughtful game thank you for the updates developers !
I think there is a design flaw in level 317. Also, the 5 star ratings are generated by the app asking if you would like to review it, then when you click yes, it gives itself 5 stars. Does not leave opportunity for honest review. I'm giving up on this app and deleting it.
I love this game and was excited to see an app for it. But it stops at level 330! I hope that they're developing new puzzles!
Really fun board game and this digital version is excellent. A lot of puzzles (hundreds) as well as a time trial mode, a free play mode and the regular mode. Like Tetris meets Patchwork, very fun and replayable! How has no-one reviewed this yet?
I love this Boardgame a lot and I'm very happy to have the app. I had been playing in the doctor waiting room. The time past fast.
I love the board game version of Ubongo so I was psyched to see there was an app for it! Great for passing time on the train, for people who commute to work.
I can't stop playing this. Ahem I mean my kids can't stop. So much fun and challenging too.
Would like to play with family. Constantly can't connect to servers to create account for multiplayer
