Tower of God: New World is a stunning adaptation of the hit Webtoon that manages to stand out in the crowded idle RPG market. The production values are through the roof, featuring fully animated 3D cinematics that bring the story of Bam and his companions to life. It’s one of the few mobile games where I actually found myself watching the story cutscenes rather than skipping them.
The combat system is built on a smart 'Element and Position' mechanic that requires more strategy than the typical 'power-level' check. The 'Shinsu Link' system is a game-changer for the genre, allowing you to level up the slots themselves rather than individual characters, which makes swapping your team composition effortless. It’s a fair, high-quality, and deeply engaging RPG that fans of the series and newcomers alike will find addictive.
Stunning 3D graphics and story cinematics
Innovative 'Shinsu Link' character growth system
Tactical elemental and formation combat
Generous rewards and idle-friendly progression
Faithful recreation of the Tower of God lore
Pay close attention to the elemental wheel (Yellow beats Purple, Red beats Green, etc.). Using a team that counters the enemy's element provides a 50% damage boost, which is crucial for clearing levels where your power rating is slightly lower than recommended.
Focus all your resources on leveling up your five 'Shinsu Link' slots. Since any character placed in these slots inherits the level, you can experiment with new heroes immediately without having to grind for experience materials from scratch.
Yes, this is an officially licensed game based on the 'Tower of God' Webtoon series.
I’m gonna give this a 5 star review which some people may disagree with but I think after my explanation you’ll see why. 1. Gacha system is very good compared to other games b/c of the wishlist system which lets you build certain teams and carry’s to progress (I rec yt vids like volkin for this). 2. The gameplay is a very good balance between autoing and playing it manually, for ex I can beat ez stages while not looking at my phone and plan out my attacks, change my formations, swap characters etc which makes it have a strategic sense of trying to find different ways to beat the level which I throughly enjoy 3. Stages are fast paced as well you usually well spend around 30s which lets you not waste time and replay and clear stages fast. 4. One of the biggest underrated things is that it has the best graphic out of all idle rpg games like AFK Arena. Overall throughly enjoying building different comps and testing new characters on each level rather than just testing a couple and having to build a few and never use the rest. I recommend this game to people who like the be challenged and not have the usual paywall problem, especially since most of this game is pve meaning u don’t have to worry about how much other people are spending. 8/10
This game is dope!!! What I like is not much controls and you can sit back and let it do it’s own think. You can also make your own moves as well but I prefer the option to have it auto. The cut scenes for each character are forking dope!!! The gameplay is awesome. I’m addicted to summoning though 😂. That’s a plus because you can summon using diamonds and you get tons just for completing daily missions. I usually just hop on after work and get lost 😂. Tons to do in this game. They got those passes you can get. Honestly idc if they have that I did decide to get it after about a few days playing. I just feel like it is a game I play daily so i don’t mind spending a few bucks. Do not feel like you need to pay to win because it’s not like that at all. You get plenty of diamonds for summoning and tickets. Just give it a shot. Also if the team is reading this. We gonna see a MOBA anytime soon??!!!!
You should help the player get into a romance with baam if that is possible i feel like that would be more fun for the female players whom play if you can at least add a bit of romance and romantic moments between and let the player pick if they want to be a male or a female character in the game i feel like that would spice up things and the storyline and mane things more fun for the delusions other players have about the anime characters they love and adore i feel like it would also help too attract more players to this fun and cool game i love it so far its amazing. Please fix the bug I cannot see or find the codes so I cant put them in fix that for me please cause it stressing me out. I love the gameplay and storytelling and all your games you make are so great. Please add more events about the character [Family Head] Traumerei I didn’t get a chance to grind and play for him due to some set backs and learning how to play the game this anniversary Im so sorry if Im asking for to much but i really need help and Im stuck at this level please make it easier for me to level up my characters even if it is just a little bit.
As specified in the title, I genuinely do enjoy this game. I could easily spend hours playing till I hit the idle wall every day—and there is quite a bit of playtime before the daily idle wall—the gacha system isn’t as horribly rigged as most other games with a lot of opportunities to use the system without p2w. Unfortunately, the game crashes often. Unceasingly. I have had it crash loading the game itself, loading specific combats, loading the gacha system, loading character upgrades, changing gear, clicking on stores or events, and really anything that could possibly involve a transition has caused a crash in the game on my device. This morning alone it crashed 4 times in about 10 minutes. If the developers could fix those bugs I have no doubt that this game would continue to be an absolutely unhindered success!
Genuinely would probably be one of my favorite idle games, but every update pretty much breaks the game. None of the events are that interesting, and every time they update the game with a new one, it pretty much just breaks the app entirely and you have to wait a few days to weeks for it to be fixed. I’ve even lost my account in the past from having to delete and re-download the app to try and fix the issue that way, and having to deal with customer service is awful since they just send automatic messages and then mark your case as solved even when it isn’t. It took me a week to get my account back even with it being connected to my apple account. Honestly as much as I like the game, it’s too much of a chore to play with all the constant bugs and glitches. Not really worth the headache, I can’t say I’d recommend it unless you’re super patient.
Let’s start off by saying I’m a massive TOG game, I check weekly for new translations on chapters and I know quite a lot about the lore. This game just feels very… strange. A lot of the concepts just feel ripped off from afk arena, and the only reason I played this game at all was due to it being TOG related. The daily quests for example are literally copy and pasted from afk arena, and lots of the “daily/weekly events” are as well. Let’s start off by saying that lore-wise, the game only goes up until the hidden chapter, mostly focusing on the prologue. The story mode also only follows the prologue. It feels extremely behind date. Obviously they still have time to add, however currently it feels very one dimensional. The ranking system for the characters also has little rhyme or reason. For example, some regulars have a higher ranking than rankers, and some don’t. It’s extremely inconsistent and just feels like the devs pick and chose who goes where. This game is also extremely PTW. Like it’s not even funny. There’s little strategy as well, you basically just copy what the top ranked in arena are doing. And more than anything, the game just isn’t that fun. It feels like every other game of the genre you’ve played before, and does little differently. I’m extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the game currently and believe it gives a poor impression of TOG for people new to it. I don’t believe the game is going to get any better, it just feels like a cash grab using the name of TOG, upsets me as I don’t want TOG to be seen as such.
I personally have a huge love for the TOG franchise and have put in almost a 1 1/2 years into this game but I started fading away from it because netmarble always shows how scummy they are with the cash grabs, they promise f2p friendly experiences, do not be fooled. To even make a dent in this game you have to spend money, AND NOT A SMALL AMOUNT. The character designs seem like the devs don’t know how to build characters at all, then will say flat out it’s a skill issue! Then on top of that, they introduced expirable currency so any thoughts of saving for new characters forget about it, tell me how that’s free to play friendly?? And if you are playing on mobile be ready to be holding a phone that is 90 degrees that also needs to stay charged because it will drain your battery instantly. I really still want to see this games success, but if it doesn’t change for the better and crashes so be it! No one to blame but themselves.
This has to be my newest favorite game of all my mobile games I have ever played!!! Graphics are Enchanting, Story Mode and Adventure Mode are Great, Game Play and Strategy are Amazingly Fun and Engaging! P.S. Some Ideas for Future Updates: 1) We Need To Be Able To Barrow Friends Allies More Than Just 3 Times Per Week. Seems to be too little number of times to be able to help Friends. 2) Co-Op Adventure Live Play to help friends who may get stuck or don’t have a certain ally to help them progress through the floors. You would need to have enough friends online on the game at the same time and be able to set up and invite to a co—op adventure party where each friend would be allowed to pick 1 character to represent on the party leaders team and will have to manually use character special abilities during each battle. 3) Special Co-Op Live Dungeons where friends can form parties, Fight Special Bosses, and get special rewards for beating the Bosses. Definitely would make it more interactive with you and your friends to come up with strategies in Real-Time
