Tile Match 3D: Triple Match is a quintessential 'zen' puzzle game. It takes the familiar mahjong-style tile clearing and brings it into a 3D space with modern objects. The difficulty curve is very gentle, making it a perfect game for winding down at the end of the day. The haptic feedback when you match items is a small but welcome touch that makes the experience feel more premium.
While it doesn't offer much in the way of innovation, the sheer volume of levels and the variety of items—from fruit to instruments—keeps it from feeling stale. The main challenge comes from the 'tray' management; with only seven slots available, you have to be careful not to pick up items that aren't part of an immediate triple. It’s a polished, reliable puzzle game that does exactly what it says on the tin.
Polished 3D visual effects
Brain trainer levels
Pause it whenever you want
Auto-save to continue from where you left off
Never fill your tray with different items. If you have 6 items in your tray and none of them match, you will likely lose. Only pick up an item if you can see its two partners on the board.
As you advance, more items are added to the pile, and they are stacked deeper. Use the 'Magnet' booster to automatically find a triple when you are stuck or low on time.
The goal is to clear all 3D objects from the board by matching them in groups of three before the timer runs out.
There are VERY few games I will pay to play. Most games get boring and do not hold my interest for long. This one - so far after several months - is an exception. I’ve stayed up far too late on work nights playing this game! So it finally occurred to me that perhaps spending $4.99 to eliminate ads would shorten the amount of time I spend playing, so I purchased the option. And it does indeed shorten the amount of time I play, but not necessarily in a good way! Every now and then I hit a super hard level that I get stuck on. The strategy for those levels was to watch the daily ads to earn coins until I had enough to extend the time and pass the level. But once you pay to remove ads, you no longer have the option to earn coins by watching ads. SUPER frustrating! I’m not going to spend money to buy coins, and now I have no way to earn them. All I get now is the single daily gift, which is rarely coins. So each day I’ve got 5 chances to pass the super hard level, and then I’m done until my lives refill. This could easily cause me to lose interest in the game. Please consider keeping the option to earn gifts by watching ads for those who’ve paid to remove ads. All I really wanted to do was stop watching an ad between each game.
I have become addicted to this game, which I have had only for a couple of months. I do have two complaints, though: 1) that it is ridiculously easy to accidentally tap an item you didn’t mean to, which I can understand when I’m on my iPhone using my finger, but I would think that using an Apple pencil on an iPad would make for more delicate, specific touches; and 2) I have a tendency to forget to keep track of the available spaces below, and often find myself out of space, which I know is my own fault. BUT having said that, there are many times when I KNOW I had two available spaces left, but after touching the items needed to complete a match, I find the game ended with the notification that I’m out of space. The problem is that I can’t see where I went wrong (if I did) because that space is not only grayed out but entirely blocked by an ad. Can’t you run the ad separately so the players can at least see what mistakes they made? UPDATE: I still love this game but continue to be frustrated when I can’t see where I went wrong once I’m out of space, because it is grayed out when it isn’t blocked completely by an ad. Am I the only one who finds this annoying?
We all know there are bug fixes in every game offered for us to play online, with or without joining friends or making new ones. I’ve been gaming on a light scale of difficulty, not to demanding of my time and effort. I’ve played starting with VP, then Sims, Gardens of Time (my favorite), along with the infamous WOW, Diablo, Half-life(?), it was a shoot to live type, and various arcade type games. I love Mahjong and will always play this one along with Solitaire and Yahtzee. I am currently contemplating deleting this game from my library. With over and over attempts to move up the progress ladder, there have been 2 disturbing glitches to this particular game that moves me to delete it! First showing up was the Advertisement problem. Imagine you are timed at sifting through different objects to match the correct number together, and you are given hearts denoting how many lives you have to succeed. Well this last week the glitches showed up that are deal breakers. My hearts left began to drop by 1 every time I played the game and during a special turn where you have unlimited hearts for a period of time, which is awesome, until there is an Ad during your time remaining to succeed at that level. These types of mistakes shouldn’t occur with the technology we use today. So unless these bothersome glitches are removed from gameplay, this game will join the few in the trash. Please fix these two, they are not fair in gameplay, EVER! I’ll be waiting and hoping you will address these matters and thank you ahead of time if you do. Sincerely……Shadoworchid.
Oct. 28th - I’m updating my post of 1 week ago. I haven’t heard anything from developers or (unsupportive) support, game still won’t load. It makes me angry that I played this game a long time (level 1000+), recommended it to others, yet the Powers That Be that created this game DON’T CARE. They love to contact you when things are great, constantly hounding you for 5 star reviews, but when there are problems? Total silence, ignoring both you & the issues/bugs reported. I’m going to contact everyone I’ve ever recommended this game to & advise them not to waste any more time (& especially no more $$$) on this bug-riddled crappy game. This experience has made me believe what others have said, that the rating advertised by the developers are self-inflated using dummy accounts, because there is NO WAY this game, with its constant bugs & glitches, has truly achieved that many 5 star reviews. Okay, my verbal vomit is over, & sorry it’s so lengthy, but I do feel (a tiny bit) better. Best of luck to those still able to play the game. Original Post Oct. 22 After downloading the update, the game isn’t playable. It will load for about 5-10 seconds then crashes. I can’t put in a support ticket, since I can’t access Support. Please advise what I should do. I’m giving 1 star due to the current unplayable state, but will up it to 4 or 5 when issue corrected. Thanks
At the end of a game, it crashed when I pressed to play the next game. The spinning circle appeared so I closed the game. When I opened it about an hour later, it was still spinning so I deleted the game. Yes, I saw that I would lose my data, however, as it has happened in other games, I would be remembered so I wasn’t concerned at the time. I downloaded it again and everything was lost. Even putting in my user name did not bring me back. I pressed the restore button in settings and tried re-entering my user name but nothing happened. I had purchased the game a few weeks/month ago in order to remove the ads AND I paid the $9.99 this month to have the extra lives. Please help. Thank you. UPDATE: It happened again! I’m on level 441 and it crashed again. I really like this game but this is the third time it’s crashed so I removed the stars I originally gave it. The game came back on its own the second time after waiting a day. I didn’t ask for a refund last time for the no ads charge, but I will this time. Please fix. iPad is up to date with current Apple version. I wish you would include a help section in the game or some troubleshooting. Thanks.
This game is super addicting and fun. I enjoy it most of the time. It has a couple things that make me want to quit. I’m almost to level 1000, and I have spent about $5 in the game only recently. Eventually some of the levels are so difficult they near impossible if you don’t have any boosts. I can rock through levels when I have the bonus stuff for winning in a row but once you lose once, you lose every boost or advantage you had. There are no opportunities to ‘earn’ coins or boosts other ways. There is 1 daily reward, so you could try to rack those up to pass one level. The effort isn’t worth the payoff. Once you get into higher levels there are also a TON of levels not marked as ‘hard’ or ‘super hard’ that are CLEARLY as hard if not harder than the marked ones. What’s the point in the designation? It seems shady because if you don’t know it’s going to be more challenging you can’t plan your boosts. Pretty unfair to general players. It’s very strategically setup to get you to spend $. People will want to keep playing and maybe even spend more money if they don’t feel they are being cheated. Thanks!
Overall the game is fun without having to wait for adds. At first you might get frustrated and feel like you can’t beat certain levels without paying for extra life but once you get the hang of it, you can consistently win. The main thing i have a problem with is i have to literally beat over 20 levels to win the jackpot in this one challenge where you can win up to 1000 coins but they rarely give you 1000. I beat it all the time and only got 1000 jack pot once or twice but it you lose one time you lose 100 coins. Sometimes they may only give you 166 coins for winning over 20 games in jackpot which is not fair to me and always makes me never want to play again. Once again when i play sky quest, I have to win almost 25 games to get the jackpot to only get 2-300 coins majority of the times. If i lose twice, i lose 2-300 coins . So basically if you lose 25 games, you will lose atleast 2500 coins compared to you having to win 25 games to only win most of the time 166 coins to 333 coins . Not to mention you literally can try to push you right icon and it will pick the wrong icon for you sometimes
I loved his game - and didn’t mind the ads- even though the ‘preview’ and ads for it in other games shows game play that ISN’T in the actual game. There are no actual 3D games. When I started playing there were daily game tools that you could earn by watching the obligatory ads. These tools were necessary to get through the hard levels and some levels would use two or three days worth of daily tools. I haven’t purchased the ‘ad free’ version but somehow my account has it. I love not having to watch the ads in the game but I also lost the opportunity to earn the extra daily items as they went away with the ads. The super hard levels are too hard to get through without these and it takes too long to earn them otherwise. I haven’t played in weeks but continue to collect the other daily item that you earn by checking in each day and helping team mates to slowly earn coins so that eventually I can play for a while and then go back to just checking in each day.
